The cleanliness of the hotel was good. The beds were very comfortable. The carpet needs to be replaced but other than the disrespectful drunks with their foul, offensive language and parking arrangements of their trailers that took some much needed parking spaces; it was ok. We will NEVER book again if the “Rod Run” is scheduled to be there at that time.

Disappointed that the pool was unavailable due to repairs. We called ahead to request a pool side room but was not told the pool was in repair until we arrived. Other wise nice place at the end of town, close to the Smokies

I didn’t like nothing,the clerks briana and the young man was cool that’s it, other then that roaches, no hot water for two or more days, tub clong with long black hair couldn’t fix it, it was so much going on, and I’ve stayed at a west gate for years my mom have timeshare that’s no Westgate

Bathtub was dirty. Sink was dirty. My wude had to clean them. The top of the refrigerator and microwave had sugar spilled all over it. Beds weren't comfortable, shower barely worked and hard to sleep because bed was hard and traffic was really loud.

The property needs a major overhaul. My room smelled like mold. There was no closet to hang clothing. The staff was great and accommodating. It was a good location. Just old and rundown.

Upon arrival we discovered there are no elevators to the upper floors. Just ramps which is hard to get up and down. They were slippery coming down. Our room had hardly any hot water and the tap in the tub was broken so we were able to switch rooms the next morning with no issues. However the original request stated I required a bath tub but our second room didn’t have that and it wasn’t worth the room change once again The pool wasn’t cleaned and there is no housekeeping without requested it. Dirty towels and garbage were picked up outside the room. Someone will leave towels In a bag outside your room if requested. The location was great. And the staff were always texting to see if we were happy or needed anything.

There is no stairs you need to go up ramp if it’s raining good luck not breaking your back the rooms are very small specially the bathroom and toilet made for kids very small and when I want to cancel my hotel front desk couldn’t do it had to wait until next day to contact the main office and they still didn’t answer after few days the hotel refused to refund I had to email back and forth call many times sent proof pictures to able for them to accept the remaining 4 days of stay but on their website cancellation rules are if you cancel after 72 hours of stay you need to pay for one night plus tax fees but they were trying to not pay me at all I worked very hard with Expedia to get something back very unprofessional about refund and customer rights of cancellation.

We really enjoyed our motel stay and the office people and also the ones that brought our supplies to the room each day. I’ve stayed in a lot of motels but never one to text each day to make sure everything is ok, and what we needed.want be our last time at Wild Bear.

Great Stay with Southern Hospitality My wife and I wanted a little weekend getaway and stumbled upon the Wild Bear Inn. The ladies up front were incredibly accommodating and polite — I had forgotten my license, but they were able to switch everything into my wife’s name quickly and without any hassle. The room itself was just fine. The facility is older, but you can tell they’ve updated what they can without losing that rustic mountain charm. Everything was clean, and the mattress looked brand new. The location is perfect — right at the end of the Pigeon Forge “strip,” so you’re close to everything but away from the heavy noise and traffic. Because it’s an older building, you might hear a little more sound between rooms, but that’s to be expected and not something the staff can control. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The service, cleanliness, and location make this a great spot for a relaxing weekend. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable getaway in Pigeon Forge.

The staff was always great especially Brianna. The room was very clean.will definitely stay here again.would rec amend this hotel to anyone. The only thing I would recommend is more towels in the room.

Staffs are not customer friendly, the door locks died on us because of battery and we had to stay out in cold at midnight for more than an hour to get help as there was no one at the property and the phone number does not work as no one picks up, we had to drive to another property(as posted in the lobby, same business - Westgate) to get help and the receptionist there does not care and when mention about the phone number does not work, the person in reception mentioned it’s a cultural thing to dial 0(though I have tried all options said as per the voice commands). Had to wait there to get a security to help us. To make it worse the next day, the water heater does not work in the morning and finally we have to use cold water to get ready! Overall our vacation is spoiled because of the stay there!!!

Brianna and Holly were great and room was clean and wonderfully priced. Free 3 pancake and egg breakfast (with coffee or juice) at german restaurant/ pub attached to hotel that was delicious. Vending machines ready and great priced.. Will stay again

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We chose it a second time because our first stay was amazing, and the second one did not disappoint. The rooms are decent. I found the beds to be very comfortable; not too firm but not too soft. The bathroom was outdated and didn't have an exhaust fan. The shower head was a little low for me, and I'm 5' 7". The staff were all extremely accommodating and friendly. The restaurant might seem a bit overpriced, but the serving sizes are pretty generous.

This place was a lifesaver. We came to pigeon forge not have ANY idea of how crowded it was. We were there for one night so we ate dinner at the hotel and ate breakfast at the hotel so we didn’t have to go anywhere. We got the hell out of town as fast as we could!
