There was too much water in the parking lot from a leak probably

The property seems as if it's always in construction, and that construction is NOT high quality. Cleanliness was fine. Should've had shuttle service. Also should have a better/cleaner pool area. Breakfast is severely lacking. If you use Expedia they can't attach your rewards. Rewards for every hotel chain, but they can't locate them with IHG

On arrival for our two-night stay, we were advised that the elevator was non-operational but that the elevator company was working on it. Our room was on the third floor and our only option was to take the stairs two flights up, carrying our own luggage. Our room was directly across from the elevator landing and had a sign on it that looked like it had been there awhile. No room comparable to our reserved room was available on any other floor. When we left on Sunday after the 2 day stay, still no operational elevator nor any offer of reduction in billing. Not a very pleasant stay for two seniors.

I was very disappointed in this booking. Online pics show a pretty place to stay with clean rooms and facilities. On arrival noticed several places in the lobby that were unfinished. Gym was out of order. Hallways were scraped bare of paint and sprinkler systems in hallways were covered in blue tape. Halls and elevator were filthy. Broken window and door handle in room. Hair from previous occupant in the floor and coffee splatter on the bathroom wall by light switch. Nothing online indicated the building was as under construction but as multiple vanities and construction debris were piled in the parking lot, it’s obvious that it was. When I asked to be transferred to the other Holiday Inn in the same town, I was told had I asked prior to check in I could have cancelled by room but since I had already checked in, I had to stay. My daughter and I did not feel safe or comfortable staying in a hotel in this condition and opted to get a room at a different hotel. $489 for 2 nights at a hotel that is misrepresented and blind as this one was is absurd.

The comfort of the room was great. The heated tub did not work when we first arrived, however it was fixed the next day. The staff was excellent in handling us with respect. The pool was enjoyable except for the children being a lil unruly and their guardian was not very attentive. Again the staff quickly handled that instance as well.

Nice breakfast. Fitness center is small and has dated machines—the seated bike sweeps. Good location.

New computer system at check-in, so took a minute. Ice Machine not working on 2nd floor. Could not find ice on 1st floor. Did not ask, due to front desk being busy.

Everything was great expect the elevator was not working they whole stay.. everyday was told it’ll be fixed but then nothing.

Had a wonderful Stay, loved the jetted garden tub.

Hotel is old and run down. Broken hot tub in bedroom. Don’t understand putting a hot tub on bedroom. Needs total remodel

the hotel is old, poor maintenance looks like a child painted and other repairs. The floor was never vacuumed in a week and usually the top sheet was just pulled over the bed. The fridge also was missing a leg that i had to fix with cardboard.. The positive would be the bed and size of the room.

The rooms were very clean

Staff were friendly. There was a musty smell in the room. The room also felt humid and there was no way to eliminate the humidity. Found mold inside the toilet tank.

Upon arriving in our room, we immediately noticed several issues. The sofa bed had dirty sheets, and the room was uncomfortably hot. We called reception, and a front desk staff member came to address the situation, managing to get the air conditioning running. However, despite their efforts, the room remained excessively warm throughout the night. The next morning, I reported the issue again, and while the second night showed a slight improvement in temperature, the room was still too hot, and we were unable to adjust it further. Overall, the temperature control in the room significantly impacted our comfort during the stay. Additionally, they replaced the towels in the morning, leaving only three towels and there were four in the room. Considering the high price we paid, it seems likely that we could have stayed at a different hotel where everything was functioning properly, with greater attention to detail and better customer service. This experience fell short of expectations, especially given the cost.

The hotel room was poorly cleaned. There were hairs in the shower and the room smelled very strongly of urine and mildew.

Room we were assigned was not partitioned as shown in the photo while selecting rooms. Bathroom wall was falling apart. No fan for the bathroom. We booked a room for four, there was no bedding for the pull out couch or extra pillows for the pull out couch. Thankfully the staff was friendly enough to give us the bedding and pillows with no hassle.

Our air conditioner was broken - we had to end up turning it off in order to sleep any at all. Avoid 206. They were fully booked so no changing rooms. When we checked out we were told the manager would give us a call - we never received a call.

Room was in front of elevator & could hear everything outside our door. Need some type of insulation or thicker door. Room had lots of space & clean. Bed was comfortable, liked the soft & firm pillows. Staff at front desk were extremely nice & welcoming.

Issue with not getting good service on the TV, water pressure somewhat low and shower not very hot in the early morning; had to call front desk to report a courtesy call due to people above us were extremely loud 2 nights on a row - after midnight - sounded like they were playing soccer, jumping up and down continuously for over an hour ;had to get up early at 6am, air conditioner did not work very well - yes it was between 70-80 degrees outside in Mid-November

He was sitting at a tabletop computer away from the check-in counter, so it was like we interrupted him. A/C in the room wouldn't stay on and the lights flickered constantly. Great location just needs some upkeep and employees that care a little more.

It’s nice. Walls are thin. TV doesn’t have any channels. Front desk staff was nice but we had to wait about 10 minutes for him to show. But bed is comfortable and room is clean.

The hotel is nice and was updated fairly recently. Bedding comfortable. Unfortunately, there were multiple rooms of high school students there for a tournament. While the adults tried to keep them quiet, they were loud at 10:30 - 11 pm and again in the morning 6:30 - 7 - doors slamming, opening, yelling, knocking, some running down the halls. Luckily we were only there 2 nights and the adults really did try -- which we appreciated. Would have been nice if they had put all the rooms without kids in one area of the hotel ..

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We had an issue with our TV not coming on. I went downstairs with remote thinking it was the battery. The guy at the desk replaced the batteries and came upstairs to make sure that it worked. Come to find out it was a loose cable.

Air freshener would be nice. My clothes all smelled like the humid hotel room when I returned home. You should have more people working at the desk at night. Juan and his coworkers were working alone and they needed help. There was a lot of waiting on the phone, for housekeeping and check-ins. I had to come to the front desk to pick up my own extra towels. It took a while.

Reyann, the front desk clerk, was very helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond.

Booked room through Expedia. When I arrived at hotel, they said I had to put a card on file because they weren't able to see my card info from the third party (Expedia) website. I gave them my bank card and they charged me a deposit and another full charge for the room, which was already paid through Expedia. I questioned the employee, who said she wasn't sure how to use the system because she was new. She instructed me to speak with the front desk the next morning. I did so, but that employee wasn't able to help either. Told me they'd call me when the manager arrived. We are 4 weeks post stay, 7 phone calls made in my part and I am still trying to get a refund from these idiots. Do not book with this place. Our room had large, vulgar drawing on the wall that had been partial painted over but had bleed through. No hot water, due to gas leak, but no one informed us before they took our EXTRA money. Worst stay experience EVEERRR!! BEWARE!

Good service

Probably the worst stay I interaction with a hotel. The two employees Rachel and Tatiana I believe is her name were great Rachel was as helpful as she could be but the hotel stated my room had been cancelled and that they called my phone and sent an email. I not once received a call from the hotel and the surrounding hotels were booked so I order to stay I had to $140 more than what I was quoted not to mention the extra money I lost in having to cancel the reserved Ubers. I arrived to check in at 3:30pm, I got an email stating my room was cancelled at 4:26 pm… make that make sense. Rachel was told by her morning coworkers and manager that the morning had attempted to call me and run my card. There is no record of a call but confirmed they had my right number and also no charge ever made to my banking card. I was told my price would get matched and corrected before I checked out. To top it off I didn’t get the room I booked either. I go to check out this morning and Diane tells me that the night staff is lying they can charge what they want and cancel when they want as well that it is not their problem and there’s nothing she will do. These people are thieves, I have reported to the BBB for bait and switch tactics. Watch your cards and better off just book somewhere else. Nothing but a head ache and two good employees can’t help this place.

Good stay; good area; quiet; clean.

Overall, we had a great stay (not there much due to the game). While this property is a little older and run down, the hotel is clean and the cleaning staff are attentive. You aren't far from the College Station to-do's, lots of food options near by. Excellent customer service at check-in (can't remember the young guy's name, but he was friendly!). I plan to stay here again in the near future!

We had a nice two night stay. We were in town to move our daughter. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was booked but it was quite. Would definitely stay here again.

It was an OK stay. Comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was fair, but not as good as other Holiday Inns which is why we chose this brand hotel in the first place. We prefer the bacon and omelets that are usually served, instead it was fake scrambled eggs and sausage. They did have biscuits (hard) and gravy.

Front desk staff very friendly- property has modern updates but not everything is perfect... It was still a great stop for the night and it was great breakfast was provided!!

Solid stay.breakfast area gets super crowded but it decent food. Room was clean. Remote and channel surfing took a minute. Weird configuration. Overall good stay

Breakfast sure isn’t what it used to be! Cold watery coffee, hard, dry biscuits, watery eggs. Room was fine, bed comfortable, except for the bug on the floor of the bathroom.

My only complaint is the ran out of sausage patties at breakfast and was not restocked

Renovations in progress. Needed to state thst somehow for online booking. Nothing was completely finished. On a positive note, front desk hostesses was friendly & breakfast was good.
