Super 8 by Wyndham College Station

Parking was fine. Close to campus. My room's A/C unit didn't work and nether did the lamps next to the beds. Also the shower floor was just raised to split the shower and the rest of the bathroom so water ran over into the toilet end of the room

Felt a little unsafe

Staff was very friendly. As far as room, it had a musty, wet smell when you entered room. TV didn’t want to work. Had to call staff and she came to replace it. Staff apparently came in to collect trash but didn’t make beds. Place looks very old and very unkept. I will not stay at a super 8 again.

Good room for the price. I’ve stayed here several times recently. My only real complaint is that the deadbolt to my room was broken this particular time and I was unable to lock my door in that manner.

If this place is your only option, then you’ll be fine… it had the two most important things: the room was very clean and we felt safe. However, we would not choose it again due to being so run down. It needs to be renovated immediately. Shame on the owners. Our smoke alarm was chirping, so we got a battery from the staff; but bc there was only one person on duty (which isn’t safe) we had to install it ourselves and in the process the whole thing popped off the ceiling and could not be replaced. We ran out of hot shower water in approximately 5 minutes, not enough time to complete a shower. The window in our room literally do not lock, and our AC unit was broken as well as the fan component. The only kudos I can give is to housekeeping, our room was very clean.
