The facility was under repair and so the gym and pool areas were not open or available for use. This was disappointing as there was no mention of this during reservations or when we checked in. The front desk did not explain this.

Nice place to stay, clean and friendy staff. Offer a 2 mile complimantary shuttle service, which is nice but travel too short to make a difference. No stores close by except for the very expensive hotel shop. Overall I think this hotel might be a bit overpriced.

Your Pool was out of service. It’s the summer. Really? We had to go across the street to the Westin to use their pool. I just wanted to relax. I don’t know why you guys say those are queen size beds. They feel like you’re laying on a full size.

Property rooms are extremely old and have a hospital patient room feel. The gym is outdated and the property in general is not worth the chatge per night. I would not stay here agian. Constantly patients and healthcare workers are all that are around. The pool was out of order when I was there. The carpent stinked and they charge extra for parking since it is only valet parking.

Nice clean property close to the museums and montrose area restaurants. Parking a pain and expensive. The valet parking staff very nice but it’s pricey. No in and out privileges if you self park which is irritating. Rooms nice. Comfy beds. Our toilet was not flushing. Had to request help twice before it was fixed. But the engineer fixed it rapidly. Overall a good stay.

No mention of this when we booked our room. The sheets and towels had blood stains and the room was dusty. There was a loud knocking sound in our room that kept us up both nights. Very disappointed! I booked this hotel because the temps were cool outside and they had an indoor pool….only to find out upon arrival that the pool/spa was “under renovations”. Ridiculous! Had I known, I could’ve booked somewhere else! Manipulative! Definitely ruined it for the kids! 😡

There were stains on the bedsheets, and some of the pillows smelled like pee, and some of the pillows smelled like bologna. We called down for room service and they said they would call us back but after 45 minutes, we went down to the restaurant then in 15 minutes we got the call for room service and I loosely said we waited for an hour. It was 50 min She got upset that I said anything about it. We checked out the same evening and went home. not recommended.

Hotel is depicted as a wonderful, clean, luxurious hotel. That is not the case. The pool was closed, the hot tub is old, nothing is included like parking or internet, no brewed coffee was available, the scents in the hotel are overwhelming and there are old carpet smells. It felt like a cheap hotel in Las Vegas. I dont recommend it. Bed was super comfortable and room and bathroom were clean.

I really liked this property and its location. I could get to both Rice and TMC easily. The only drawback is that its proximity is also a weakness in keeping it clean and smell free. The vomit smell is something you just have to hold your nose and bear to get all the great things about the location.

Beautiful, clean, quiet room. The sundries store in the lobby is great. Hotel has full housekeeping and room service. Conveniently located by restaurants and Rice U. Only two small gripes. First, there is no way to dim the bedside clock. Too bright! Remove that dated thing, Second, parking payments are made at the check-in counter instead of at the garage. A hassle.

It was very noisy. My room was at the end of the hallway next to the stairwell. I heard the stairwell door opening and closing all night. I also could hear the guests next door in the other rooms talking. There was not extra blankets in the room and the air conditioning system was difficult to regulate. It either didn’t run or ran to the point of very uncomfortable cold room. The pillows were terrible to the point I woke up with neck pain and a migraine. The floor in the room had trash from the previous guest that housekeepers didn’t even clean vacuum. This hotel doesn’t offer complimentary Wi-Fi! I was required to pay for it. This is all unacceptable especially at the price I paid for this room. The employee's offered no solutions. I expected better customer service. I utterly regret staying at the Marriott. I only chose this hotel bc it was closer to the medical center my family was being cared for. I should have stayed at the Hilton medical center. So I ask any other travelers to please consider all the other many other hotels in this area. You will have a better stay.

We always love the convenience of the location for lots of different events. The only complaint I would have is we stayed on the 14th floor. It took litterly 5 minutes of water running to get hot water in the shower. Another issue I hadn't notice before was the walls are very thin. I could hear people in the surrounding rooms coughing, toilets flushing, and talking throughout the night.

First room given had 2 queens when we reserved a king. Went back down and asked for a King room and they put us in 411. Next to the trolley and next door was the 24hr weight room. The trolley stop was right outside so hearing ding ding ding…. All night. And the weight room was loud from dropping of weights. Usually started. Around 5:30am

The room was clean; however, the handheld washer in the shower was broken, causing the water to spray out of the hose instead of the shower head. The bed was uncomfortable and I slept poorly. My wife ended up sleeping on the sofa chair. The price of the room was barely worth the convenience of the location. (My appointment was across the street. The "Free" wifi cost $15 which we were told would be deducted from the bill after check out only after we inquired. The hotel restaurant was highly recommended; however, the salads we ordered were not at all worth the $17/each price paid. A Great disappointment. The staff was helpful and courteous. Overall, I have stayed at budget hotels with a better price/experience value. I have travelled all over the world and stayed at a vast variety of hotels, B&B's and rentals, and for the price paid here, I couldn't help but feel taken advantage of. I will not be staying here again, though my business will bring me back several times over the next few months.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied of how my payment is being handled as I have been double charged. I have two pending charges on two different credit cards affecting my available balance on what I can use for my credit card limits. This affected my ability to pay for a business graduation and awards dinner that I had last night, December 20, 2022. This has still not been resolved, and I expect to receive some type of discount. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

I put up a privacy sign on my doorknob…around 10 am I hear a knock and the door open. The housekeeper announced my checkout time was noon. I knew that and thought it was very rude, I felt like I was trying to be rushed out so she could clean the room. Also when I pulled in to park my car a man came up to ask if I wanted to valet or self park. I said self park. He said well I can give you directions where to self park in 10-15 minutes. What ???? My entire stay I felt like an inconvenience to the staff.

This was a nice hotel and we did spend a little extra to stay here so we were close to our event. $240+/night for 2 nights. But add an unexpected non refundable $25 destination fee for items you may or may not use. It would have been great if we planned to do/use any of the things it included but we were in town for the an event at the college and only slept in the room. We just don’t enjoy spending money on things we don’t use. Dining in this hotel is limited IMO. The person at the bar was definitely not happy to be at work the evening we stopped in. Overall it was a nice clean place but might try a different hotel next time.

Convenience because it's close to the various hospitals. It was clean. I didn't enjoy the hotel allowing pets (someone had some yappy dogs nearby). Restaurants were just okay and I felt were overpriced. I spent around $35 for breakfast, it was not great. Coffee was not great and dinner was just average for about $50. Will definitely eat conservatively if I stay again.

Noisy because generator was being repaired at 8:30 pm but was repaired fairly quickly, restaurants were closed so I couldn’t eat lunch at 1:00pm, food is average, difficult to reach front desk. All employees were pleasant and tried to be helpful.

Beautiful lobby, on site restaurant convenient and delish with a good variety of dishes to choose from, elevators arrive extremely fast after pushing the button. Shuttle service to MD Anderson very much appreciated.
