It was an outdated, dirty old hotel, definitely not worth as for what they charge. The employees they were good they did the best they could.

We reserved a two bedroom room paid in full two months before we were going to check in when we got there. She said oh we rented out your room so we put you into separate rooms with an adjoining door and we weren’t able to call you because there’s no phone number on file we actually I know there was because we can’t pay for and rent a room unless there is a phone number and email on file so not only do they not even try to contact you if there’s something wrong with your reservation they also lied to you about it. The room was small. There was no extra blankets or pillows in the room for the pullout sofa bed, which we did use and when we asked for something to be brought up, we waited two hours before we went down and actually went and asked them for some and said we were wait while she went and get them and it took her 15 minutes to go get them.

When we got here at at 2 am we didn't even know where to enter or park. There's a big sign that says Homewood suites but there are also several hotels right next to it. The parking lot was confusing because there was no sign to go into this lot. I wish there were arrows or something bright to indicate where to go. In case you are reading this the parking lot is the first one on the left. The stay was mostly pleasant as we had a two room two King bed suite. I will first delve into the positives then the negatives. The positive was you are right by everything in Houston. I liked the garage parking lot. We were literally within walking distance of the Galleria mall. The room was mostly clean and spacious. The breakfast was okay but nothing spectacular. There's nothing that will jump out to you at this hotel in terms of amenties. Now for the negative. When we got there the elevator lights wouldn't turn on. It can get confusing at times because you might press the second floor and go to the parking lot. We were on floor 9 and pressed 1 and it wouldn't open. Then we went to 2 and it opened to the parking lot. Our dishwasher flooded while we were there and had to wait till the following day for a service repairman to come fix it. I tried asking the housekeeping for some soap and shampoo since we were there for 5 nights. None of them spoke any English. The swimming pool is very small. The exercise room was also small and didn't have a lot of equipment. Some parts of the hotel was old
