There were rowdy hockey teams staying at the hotel and they broke an elevator per the front staff. Very inconvenient. We asked for extra pillows and were told there were none. Our room had a bathroom door that was all chipped and broken on the bottom. Hotel seems tired and older.

This property is dated, but clean. The AC unit in my room was a window mounted unit that made a lot of noise. About half the staff was warm and friendly and the rest grumpy. The breakfast was good. The workout facility was poorly maintained. The pool was crowded and on the small side. The location is good.

I went with my wife and kids for the weekend, Everything was fine , the rooms are big , area is safe the breakfast is good they have a bar in the lobby. The only thing we had an issue is because the plumbing sucks everytime we will take a shower we had to wait about 10 - 15 min after for the other to take a shower because the drain was so slow.

Woke up very early to a giant cockroach in the bathroom! Everything else was good, but that tainted my experience. Also, the carpet looks very old needs replaced. Had it not been for those two things, it could have been 5 stars.

Check in was easy and the guy at the front desk was so friendly and helpful (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name). Perfect room and great mattress. Love the shampoo and body wash in the shower. My only negatives are some of the parking lights were not working - which the fro t desk said they’d fix immediately and the other thing - which is so hard to control - is that we saw a big rat run across the porte cochere when were walking back from dinner. But awesome stay overall!

I had an overall positive experience, but the TV and A/C were old and didn’t not perform as well as other similarly priced hotels I’ve recently stayed. For example, the local channels must use a digital antenna and the reception was not good…made some preferred channels unwatchable. The A/C also struggled to keep the room cool enough. I stayed in a similar sized Hilton hotel room within the past week and had its A/C set at 71 and was very comfortable; while I had to set the Hyatt A/C to 69 and still wasn’t not as comfortable… a wall thermostat my address the A/C issue.

I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I had to have a place to stay for a doctor’s appointment. I was pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the location to where the doctor’s office was located. It was easy to find and parking was abundant. I was on the first floor and it was very quiet. The facilities looked nice and I had no issues. I did find a rather large (alive) water bug in my room, but we didn’t bother each other. I looked everywhere in the room and couldn’t find a microwave stashed anywhere, but I didn’t have anything to heat up, so it was fine. No knocked points there. I was happy with the stay and will definitely stay there again.

Pretty standard. No safe in the rooms. Bathrooms are oddly built. The door opens barely missing the toilet because it’s small. Just keep pocket doors instead if space is such an issue. But no complaints with the stay at all. Breakfast is standard but ends at 9AM on weekdays so make sure you’re early.

Breakfast was excellent! The only complaint I had was the TV had few channels. The promo channel had an ad for the hotel with 2 guys kissing. Didn't need to see that at all. Also several of the channels on the TV did not work. No TV guide!

We have stayed at this location many times for business and it has always been good However the last few stays we have noticed the front desk hasn’t been professional and upon our arrival and this evening when we arrived we had reserved a room and prepaid for it and when we arrived we were told they were overbooked and did not have a room for us. We ask for a refund and were told they could not issue it to us.

Staff seemed to be pretty lazy. They advertise a menu and hours that they are open so being pregnant and tired I wanted food but didn’t want to leave the hotel and both times I tried they weren’t open during the hours advertised that they are. Asked for more pillows and was told they only had one. Honestly the only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast.

The stay was overbooked. I spent $100 on an Uber to get there only to be told that I had to go to a sister property. Had to spend more money to get there. Demarcus told me that he would reimburse me for the travel fees. I emailed him and I never heard back. Once I got to the sister property, Zee said that no one contacted him about me coming. Although Demarcus reassured me that he called and said there was availability for me. When they got Demarcus on the phone, he acted as if he didnt know what we were talking about. It was a very stressful situation. I was upset with Expedia for overbooking and not notifying me that there was no availability. I was upset with the staff at Hyatt Place Plano for not making the process any easier and for not reimbursing me. I deleted Expedia from my phone, I will not be using this service ever again.

I arrived at the Hyatt Place Plano at 9:15 pm on 10-12-24 after driving 6 hours. I was informed by hotel staff that I had cancelled my reservation. I pulled up my app and showed her and she was very dismissive stating I did, they didn’t have any rooms any way. I went back to my car and called Hotels.com and on a Saturday night at 9:30 the automated voice stated it would be a 2 hour wait to connect to a representative. I went back in the hotel and told the hotel receptionist that there is no way this is right and I wanted to speak to a manager. Again, she was very dismissive and stated this was through a third party and there were no rooms left. I called around to other hotels and the only available ones were in Wiley, Texas. I had to find a hotel in Dallas and drive back there, pay for those two nights. I contacted hotels.com and they stated they would call the hotel to get them to refund. I prepaid Hotels.com $355.71 on the 10/06/24…now why would they hotel refund me and not the people that took my money. Hotels. com sent an email stating they were not able to get in touch with the hotel and I would NOT be getting a refund! Both parties have put the customer in the middle and have avoided any responsibility. Bottom line: I never received services, I paid for the services in good faith before hand and I DID not cancel! I was left to find and pay for another hotel for two nights at 9:30 at night! This is how they treat customers!!!!

Huge room! Very quiet hotel although there was a fair amount of traffic noise from the highway. I just set the AC fan to remain on and it drowned it out. Breakfast was hot, hearty and filling. Very friendly staff. Will certainly stay here again next time I'm in town.

The breakfast was fresh and hot. Salsa great. Not enough variety, as far as gravy or bacon, and no fresh fruit. Room very warm and called to get checked or least a fan. Room checked but no fan. I almost never say anything negative but really not a good experience. Almost all of the staff was very good.

It was an okay hotel. The staff always seemed to be annoyed and not very helpful in whatever was asked to them. The room lacked basic amenities, such as slippers, kettle for boiling water, even there were no water bottles in the room. Worst part is the breakfast. No varieties at all, very limited items. And the timings on weekdays is until 9 am. I mean why would you end breakfast at 9 am? We usually have breakfast until 10 or even 11 at times. Its like they dont care about their clients.
