The staff was exceptional! Always friendly and helpful! Facility was clean but very “patched up” due to age. Bed very comfortable and really good breakfast. Appreciated the complimentary earplugs! Outside had broken glass in parking lot. It was very well lit and felt safe coming and going. Overall a very positive experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western - Temple. Our family was displaced after a tornado and we could not have picked a better place to stay. From the friendly staff, good breakfast, pool, and laundry we were happily surprised and would stay again.

An honest take on my stay: Check in was really easy. Desk clerk was very polite and helpful Room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the bed and the breakfast. I slept well. Areas for improvement: The towels were very small and thin (I’m 6’5, and like bigger towels). Also, I would have liked to have a channel list available in the room to look at without having to search through the scrolling online guide. That would have made finding a specific channel much easier. Treadmill in the workout room didn’t work. Tried to connect to Chromecast on the TV, but it didn’t work even after following on screen directions. BUT these are all small problems. I enjoyed the stay and would stay again if needed.

My room was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t have any major problems. It’s nothing fancy, but I didn’t expect it to be. The room did feel a little bit damp. I didn’t have any issues checking in or checking out, and they have a well-lit parking lot. I didn’t go to the breakfast or use any of the on-site amenities, but overall I had a good stay.

Small hotel and very clean. Breakfast was good but coffee was weak. The front desk staff really stand out as extraordinary. Just very pleasant and helpful. Room AC struggled but it is 104 outside so that makes sense. Easy access from 35 and well lit at night. Next door to a good steakhouse. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m in Temple.

My husband and I come to Temple a minimum of twice per year. In the past we have stayed in other hotels, some obtained last minute and some booked in advance. This one is by far the cleanest and friendliest we have stayed in. We will be using this place in the future.

When we got to our room we tried to take a shower & the water was ice cold it had no hot water, above the shower it had a big mold spot on the ceiling. The room was a non smoking room & it had a bad smell to the room like someone smoked in the room, there was bugs everywhere in the room.

The bathroom was not clean. There were visible “marks” all on the toilet seat. I had to ask the front desk for bleach and paper towels. The room had not been vacuumed. There was hair all in the bathroom, and there was hair in the sheets. I’m hoping the sheets were clean, but it’s doubtful. It was also super noisy as the interstate is right there. The windows were old, and there were no sound suppressing curtains. It was a pretty miserable stay. Had there been an open hotel in town, I would not have stayed. It was definitely NOT worth what we paid for the room.

Staff was helpful, the room clean and good-sized. Wish the LED lights were a warmer color, but there were electric plug outlets everywhere. At night you could hear the passing traffic on Rt. 35 but ear plugs were available at the reception desk. Breakfast was varied but not exceptional.

The hotel is located right next to the highway and can be pretty noisy at times if your room is on that end. One of our queen bed mattresses was a little broken down and lumpy. Overall we had a nice visit. Nice and accessible.

They have no water pressure in the shower. It took me 10 minutes to wash my hair because of the lack of pressure and i have short hair. I didn't feel like i was able to get clean either because of that. I won't be returning anymore I'm not willing to pay their price for no shower pressure. I doubt the shower heads in any of rhe showers have been cleaned since the day they were installed, you can see the lime build up im the shower head.

While the room was okay, the hotel itself was very hot and humid. In my room, the air conditioner seemed to need some maintenance done from the noise it was making, which made sleeping a bit difficult because it kept waking me up. And the shower/bath had several hairs on the walls and in the tub itself. I wouldn’t mind spending that much money on a room if the room itself was worth it, but that room was not.

Reserved room for Friday and Saturday night left hotel for the day sat morn Returned late afternoon to find someone else in my room and my belongings missing Went to desk and was told I was mistaken about my room number. My stuff wasn’t in the new room either it was stuffed in trash bag in office with my original room number written on it after they insisted I was wrong They wouldn’t admit that they screwed up and gave me an attitude. Won’t be back to worst western hotels

Can’t review much because this was a VERY, last minute, late night stay. I will say that when I dragged in very late the front desk reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is definitely older but the bed was comfortable, I slept like a rock. Grabbed a quick, decent breakfast and was back on the road.

We've stayed here a few times. The Lady at check in is very nice. She tried to keep our rooms close together. We had an issue with one room and she was very apologetic, but she switched us up with no problem. Breakfast was the usual small hotel food. Close to Texas Roadhouse so you have a place for dinner.
