We were told "217 is the last room we have, so you can't change it" when we checked in, which was concerning. The concerns were justified when we arrived in the room. The paint was peeling, there were holes in the walls, and all the drains were open, which unfortunately made it very easy for the moderate infestation of cockroaches to move around the space. The walls had no soundproofing (possibly because of the holes) so every dog bark and argument woke us up all night. The only reason I gave it 2 stars for eco friendly was that we saved water by being too disgusted to use the shower. The "complementary breakfast" was a basket of green bananas and granola bars. There was a pool, and it had water in it, but the water was green so it's for the best that it had a CLOSED sign on it. Calling the place a 2 star hotel is generous.

My initial impression was bad when I saw big weeds growing out of the flower gardens. And then the green pool that apparently hasn’t been used in a long time. Once in the room I noticed one of the lights between the beds didn’t work. Not a big deal. But then the light over the sink didn’t work. Really big deal! Can’t shave without light!

Overall, this place was disgusting. Dirty. Gross. Here's a couple of suggestions, throw away all the broken and mismatched pool furniture and close the pool. It looks terrible. Hire a monthly exterminato. Pick up all the trash around the property and the cigarette butts.pull the weeds around the hotel. Looks Terrible. Maybe even power wash the dirty cement. It won't take a lot of money to clean up this place. Simple things. The people who work there were nice, but overall, it was dirty and run down. .

Hotel location is excellent, on top of hill surrounded by corns, grass and trees, even offered an outdoor swimming pool with resting chairs for breezy relaxation under the sun. Happy surprise to watch July 4th firework show from top of hill. No mosquitoes and rooms were claen. Only imperfection was very little free breakfast, only coffee , bananas and cookies. But anyway, hotel price was cheap enough to offset this imperfection.

Picked this property based on images online. Did not look like pictures. Breakfast is a paper bag with a muffin, granola bar and water. Coffee in lobby. The pool was dirty and very cold, and chairs were broken. The bed was rather hard and the AC in the room was very loud. The water pressure in shower was good but bathroom was very stained. Towels were very thin and small. Room is very large, lots of room.

We really enjoyed the room, it was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, but it should be open a bit earlier to allow people a quick dip before checking out. The advertised free breakfast is really a little snack bag, with some coffee/tea on the side.

room neglected !!!!! my wife and I traveled for years 95 percent of the time we stayed at a days inn,always friendly clean. the last time we went to a days weopened the door to the room and my wife said we are staying here the room smelled of mold so we left !! my wife passed two years ago and this was my first trip without her. I had just travelled for 15 hours and was exhausted. I opened the door to the room and mildew smell hit me the floor looked like it was 50 years old, three stinck bugs were crawling across the ceiling the light on the desk did not work turn on the light in bathroom and cockaroaches took running cocarroches also crawling near tv I was so exhausted I needed rest tried to use phone to call office fo wake up call phone did not work where smoke was supposed o be was just wires hanging out of the wall chain door lock broken could not use lock slept for a couple of hours with all lights and tv on if my had been with me we would not have stayed in that room disgusting!!!! will never attempt to stay in a days inn again. roger blair

Lots of bugs on the floor and walls. Bed mattress was ok. But the box springs looked nasty. Holes in walls. Overall, not a place I would stay again. I haven't had an issue with Days Inn until staying at this one. (New Market, VA) Spend more money on a nicer Hotel. Lesson learned!

We actually did not even stay here. We got our card keys in a used folder bent. Walking up to our room there was questionable stains on the ground that led to concern. Once we unlocked the door we were greeted with a bed with no real sheets- the towel ON DISPLAY on the side of the tub was stained beyond repair and there was blood splattered on the wall as well as the side of the box spring. We could not get a refund. But we booked elsewhere last minute.

The shower head in the bathroom was so dirty that I wasn’t even comfortable taking a shower. The vent fan in the bathroom was extremely dirty.

Room smelled terrible and was in terrible condition. Sink was clogged. There was a blood stain on the floor. No issues checking in with front desk. Just stayed the night to sleep and left first thing in the morning. Not comfortable even showering there.

no one at front desk when we arrived.. waited 10 mins, they told us breakfast was between 630-9am( breakfast was a granola bar and banana)…. tub had scum in it… Whole place needs to be redone…. the price was good and was next to one of our attractions to visit… and the view from our room was great!!!!!!

baseline clean but worn and beaten up looking; bugs; returned from day out and room had not been done - told we needed to request housekeeping (make beds and clean towels?) when i asked for 4 towels, told they only had 2, had to return next morning to request 2 more. breakfast was dismal; staff used their key and entered at 830am announcing "check out". very disappointing - will never go there again, and likely will not use days inn/wyndham anywhere.

This place was full of cockroaches and the guy at the front desk was supposed to put us in another room and never did. I also requested a downstairs room because my wife has a bad knee and they didn’t accommodate that. The sink didn’t drain and the toilet would barely flush and it was filthy dirty. Definitely not worth the money I spent.

Stayed here several years ago, and it was good. Now the place is in rough shape. No breakfast (despite the website description), no microwave in room (communal one in lobby), toilet barely flushed, sink drained very slowly, lamp on door switch was unplugged (had to dig under stuff in the dark to plug it in). Old school Motel-6 would be better. We will not be back.

First room the AC wasn’t working so it was way too hot. Second room the bathroom light didn’t work so we were stuck using the toilet in the dark. The outlet next to the bed wouldn’t keep our phone chargers plugged in, kept falling out. And lastly we asked for conjoining rooms but when checking in were told we never made such request so that didn’t happen

Our stay was ok. It started out rocky as the room we were given the door did not lock from the outside when we would shut it to leave. The door was partially open when we arrived. We went back to the front desk and they offered us a 2 double bed room when we booked a king bed. We told them that wouldn't work and the desk associate went up to the room with me telling me we just had to slam the door, however multiple times up there with him slamming the door the door did not catch and lock. We were initially told there were no other King beds available but then surprise there was one available. We went to our new room and discovered the toilet seat was missing a bolt attaching it to the bowl. We told the front desk that evening when we asked for more pillows. We were told someone would come to fix that but no one did during our stay. They did bring the pillows up right away. The bed was very comfortable for my fiancée and I. Overall our stay was ok. One other thing they could do is have more than one tiny trash can in the room or at least come collect the trash from the room daily.

The room was ok…the only outlet was in the bathroom area, one lamp didn’t work, lots of dust coming from the air vent in the bathroom, seal around door missing so a lot of hot air was coming in, and the free breakfast was a grab and go brown paper bag. I do not have great expectations of low-end roadside motels, but this one was a mess. Both the sink and the bathtub drained very slowly. USB ports? Zero. And only one open AC outlet. Lighting inadequate to illuminate the room well even with everything turned on. An old sofa, but no chair or desk. The toilet seat was barely attached. Musty smell? Of course (and a stain on the floorboards indicated the room had flooded at some point). But the bed felt good. My recommendation is to avoid this one.

Wow, the wifi died every 5 minutes, would not stay connected. My room key constantly would not work, it was the lock not me, never ever have I had to get so many replacement keys. Check in was fairly quick. The staff was polite and attentive. The room was very clean upon arrival. Then we noticed there seem to be cigarette burn holes in the linens and blankets. The room door locking system doesn't feel very secure. The phone in the room was not working and the front desk was kind enough to come swap it out for one that did work. Unfortunately no microwave in the room and slim pickings nearby as far as food options so a microwave would have been helpful. Fair enough price for a one night stay.

We showed up out of state at 2 o’clock, told there was no way we could check in an hour early. But even if we could it wouldn’t have mattered because they canceled our reservation before we even got there and didn’t have a room for us. Had to find somewhere else to stay which I’m glad we did because the new place was amazing. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and acted like us being there was an inconvenience. Clearly did not want to be working. Also the lobby smelled absolutely horrible. Would not recommend this place at all. Stay literally anywhere else.

Peter at the front desk was nice, friendly, and professional! When I couldn't find my driver's license to check in, he comforted me and gave me time to look through my purse and backpack. I finally found it! When we found out the refrigerator in our room was not working properly, he immediately switched us to another room and the refrigerator was working. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We had a nice stay.

I booked this room with my points for my bday. We were only staying for 1 night. I then read the reviews on this place and almost canceled. I'm glad i didn't. The only thing that was wrong with this room was the headlamp next to the bed didn't work. Room was clean, we had a smoking room, shower was awesome, bed sheets were clean.

We have stayed here several times both recently and in the past. Recent stay was very poor. One of the receptionist was not friendly and appeared to not like his job or people. In the past, the hotel was clean and appeared taken care of. On our most recent trip there were bugs in both of the rooms that we rented. Also, the bathroom and rooms were not cleaned well at all. There was brown scum in the bath tubs and on the room floors. We ended up going to the store to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned the floors and tubs ourselves. Even the pool and landscaping were not tended to as they should be. I saw that they tended the pool in the mornings but really should have done some care in the afternoon as well. We come every year but will not be staying here in the future. Thank you for listening

We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We were there for just 1 night. 1. As soon as we entered the hotel room, the bed side night lamps were not working. Hotel was not able to fix this. 2. The air conditioning did not have thermostat that has temperature controls. The AC kept on switching on and then off after every few minutes. It was not cooling the room. 3. They do not have any breakfast. All they provided was one banana, one granola bar and one cookie. 4. The coffee is not hygienic. The sugar and creamer boxes are being refilled with who knows what and are being used again and again, looking at their condition. The coffee dispenser was dirty near the opening from where coffee comes out. 5. The part that seemed to me as a fraud was that they charged us $5 for a missing wash cloth. I spoke with them and told them that - it is impossible as I did not take their dirty used up washcloth. They simply did not listen. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone even for a single night stay.

Hotel location is excellent, on top of hill surrounded by corns, grass and trees, even offered an outdoor swimming pool with resting chairs for breezy relaxation under the sun. Happy surprise to watch July 4th firework show from top of hill. No mosquitoes and rooms were claen. Only imperfection was very little free breakfast, only coffee , bananas and cookies. But anyway, hotel price was cheap enough to offset this imperfection.

The breakfast bar in the photos is a lie. Literally one of the reasons we chose this place was for breakfast. A banana, mini bottle of water, a granola bar, and they gave us peanut butter crackers, which my son is highly allergic to.

Almost as if it would be better not to say breakfast included and have these items as a bonus. Depending on location of your room it is a long way to the car for unpacking/packing.

Even though all travelers were given rooms all next to each other (instead of spreading everyone out) it was still very quiet. The offered breakfast was purportedly just granola bars and a banana which was very slightly disappointing, but we found an excellent restaurant nearby that made up for it.

I verified with the front desk that they don't offer breakfast, haven't offered breakfast for a significant amount of time(meaning for months) and are aware that it is on the listing but have not changed it.
