What a beautiful property to stay on! The facility was great, clean and fit our needs quite nicely!

The three 9-hole golf courses are scenic and well kept. Some of historic Resort’s hospitality features are renovated and other facilities are being upgraded. Friendly staff and goodwill in the surrounding Shenandoah Valley Quintessential Virginia small town.

We stayed here for one night for our sons baseball tournament Although this place is called a golf resort it definitely looks like an up scale motel but I totally loved it! I really enjoyed driving up towards the check in building the pool was big and outdoors which today was a hot day so that was perfect. We had a pool side room so that was convenient for my kids! There was a banquet scheduled tonight so there were lots of people beer golf and live music which I enjoyed listening too and watching. I enjoyed seeing the older golfing crowd enjoying their best life!! Pool area was really clean but no pool towels so be prepared our room was super clean smelled cleaned and is well kept. The beds and pillows are so comfortable linens were clean bathroom was was cleaned and big. The only I would say this room needed is the complimentary shampoo conditioner and body wash. That little touch would if ave made this room amazing!!! The grille restaurant here was not worth it. We went during dinner our server was nice and professional and tentative you could tell they were a little under staffed but that might had been because the banquet they had going on. Sweet potato fries tasted good onions rings were big and juicing my fish and chips had no flavor and the fish was dry. My husbands steak didn’t have no flavors what’s so ever I swear he ate the whole bottle of A1 sauce. The food was not worth $101 other than the food this place is a great choice to stay!!

Not there for golf, so did not spend much time on the property. Swimming pool was out of order, although they did offer passes to the town pool. Nice view of the golf course. Miller’s restaurant had pleasant staff. Only ate breakfast there, but lunch/dinner menu looked adequate. Bed seemed a little too soft.

Stumbled upon this place for an overnight stay during a trip south and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was excellent, as well as friendly and helpful. Accommodations were older but in great shape and part of a golf course. Beautiful setting. There was happy hour live music outside, which was awesome. Normally, we grab a bite and spend the evening in our room, so this was an added bonus. The guitarist was great and crowd welcoming to outsiders. We will definitely stay again.

This is a golf resort so expect some loud groups of men. The dining is somewhat limited too. But the resort was very clean with good staff. I would stay again.

Very nice rooms. It was clean, everything worked as it should. It was raining the evening we arrived, so unfortunately we did not get to use the pool. The grounds are beautiful, with the mountains as a backdrop. Lots to do and see in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

I was a little concerned when I saw that it was an older motel even though the outside of the motel and the grounds looked great. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into our room. It was so neat and clean. I was very impressed and enjoyed our stay.

I stay here when visiting my mom. The staff are always courteous and helpful and the place always sparkles.

Room did not look clean. Should have had a tub, but as dirty as the shower looked I would have never taken a bath. Could have just gone to motel 6 for what I got.

Older motel on beautiful grounds, with a view of the mountains beyond. Not being golfers, we nevertheless enjoyed watching the golf scene right out our patio windows. The room was spacious, but the beds are on the hard side and I had a sore back in the morning. The bathroom was ok and also needs updating and some deep grout cleaning. There was a noisy portable dehumidifier in the room that we should have unplugged at night. But all in all we had a pleasant experience.

Very impressed to see that the mattress pads and shower curtains are changed and washed (saw them in the laundry bin when checking out), can’t ever remember seeing that at a hotel before. Would recommend and will definitely consider coming back.

At check-in I asked where a 7-11 or food store was. Receptionist said she doesn't live here only drives in to work and home again and can't tell me. Hoped for a "I find out & let you know". Expected a "Resort" accommodation but found a common no star motel atmosphere. Room was clean but the balcony...I'll attach pictures. Judge for yourself. Sliding door did not close completely without getting that hook in. Restaurant on premises closed long ago. Had no housekeeping at all. Could fix some coffee the first morning with little machine in room, but that was it. Was glad there was an extra roll of toilet paper. Had to waste a lot of water to get hot water out of sink faucet. Beds were on the hard side.

Looking at past reviews, some would say it was outdated. Who cares!!! This was the CLEANEST room I have stayed. Everything was perfect, not a flaw in sight! Beds were comfortable. Bedding was soft. Towels were thick. Service was impeccable!! I could not ask for anything more. I will definitely be staying there again!!!

The motel room was clean and spacious. The restaurant menu had good choices and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this facility.

Internet is not working in the room. Called the desk and they don’t know or care to figure out how to reset it. We needed to join work meetings and were unable to do so.

My room was terrible, it was on a side entrance near ice machine which mad noise all night plus the dehumidifier running all night was hard to listen too, and the mattress was horrible, im sure a got a room that was not upgraded yet, but i paid the upgraded price anyway

The room was much smaller than expected but very clean.

It was an enjoyable weekend getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had recently upgraded showers. The balcony overlooked the golf course and mountains in the background, was a nice place to relax in the evenings.

Room was as expected, resort has some age so not a lot of moderization. Bed had foam matteress which wasnt the most comfortable I've slept on. Also drain in tub/shower didnt work well and ended up in ankle deep water by end of taking shower.

Old, tired and musty/moldy smell. Honestly cannot understand the high rating on this place unless you are looking for male dorm atmosphere with golf onsite. Paper thin walls - you easily hear people talking in room next door. Dehumidifier in room but still very musty smelling. Golfers smoking cigars and cigarettes outside door so you have to see/smell that.

Beatify view over golf course and mountain. Loved upper balcony. Beautiful room. Wish there was a microwave in room. Also no hooks in bathroom for hanging clothes on.

Nice clean rooms. Great views from our patio. Shower water pressure could be stronger.

Everything was excellent, 1st time staying there. Bed was perfect, Pillows very comfortable. Front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Will probably stay again in October.

If you appreciate a place with authenticity and personality stay here. Check in, the Grill Room and grounds staff are all excellent.

Kind staff

The BEST staff we have ever experienced. Went out of their way to accommodate us stopping in to get out of a violent storm with tornado warnings. The kitchen staff stayed on the feed us. The food was very good and much appreciated. We made new friends and will definitely make this a regular stop while traveling in the future.

Friendly staff , very clean , sheets were very soft ( comparable to high end hotels ) Mattresses were ok.A microwave would be nice.Not a lot of food places nearby and they close early. Would definitely stay there again.If your older or cant do steps het a first floor room.

Very nice area attractions close by. Rooms are a bit dated and could use an update. Staff was attentive and pleasant. If your looking for some kind of night life this isn't the area. The town seems to roll in the sidewalks by 8. Golf course seemed to be well taken care of. Beautiful view of the Mountain/Golf course from the balcony room.

Well kept updated room and facilities. Millers Restaurant is on site and A+ . This will be our goto for trips thru this area.

Check in was friendly and quick. Room and bathroom both very clean, beds comfortable. Parked right outside our door. There is a restaurant on the property and if you are a guest, coffee is free. If ever in the area again, would definitely stay here.
