Plenty of parking for a big UHaul! Bed was super comfy and the shower was great. Was able to relax and sleep well and wake up to a quick, good breakfast! Strongly suggest this hotel!

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. Pool was a little too hot and dirty but kids didn't care. Beds were uncomfortable for me but other people in my party didn't mind. It was fine for the 1 night we stayed. Room was mostly clean but there were weird stains on the walls of the shower. Overall, would stay again if it was just an overnight trip.

Met with friends from around the country to ride motorcycles. We rode out of this location for a week. Parking was very good under the canopy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent selection for breakfast every morning. Rooms were comfortable. My only complaint is that the pool looked old and dirty and the room was so hot you couldn't stand it. That being said I would stay here again

Our family always stays in Whytheville, Va on our way to Myrtle Beach, SC it serves as a half way point. Comfort Inn and Suites was a nice, clean, and convenient place to stay. This location was under new management at the time of booking. The staff was friendly, and accommodating. The hotel offered, fresh infused water with lemon or oranges, coffee, tea, hot chocolate 24 hours a day, also a hot breakfast on the weekend. The kids loved the pool which was clean and lots of towels to dry off with. The hot tub was broke at the time of visit, however we have used it in past visits and it is very nice, hope they prioritize getting it repaired quickly! The beds were comfortable and the room was perfect temperature, loved the big bathtub! I seen other reviews where people are bothered by the sounds of the highway, however I believe that can vary by person, the sounds were southing to me. The mountain views right out the window is beautiful! I highly recommended this hotel and will be back in the future.

We selected this property because of the Hot Tub and paid more than other properties that didn’t have one. Upon check in was informed that the pool are was closed for remodeling. This fact was not noted on any website when I made the reservation. So sad that customers have to call ahead to verify that advertised amenities are really available.

I only stayed one night. The first room they gave me I pulled back the covers and there were red blood spots on the sheets. The shower was filthy and it smelled like someone dumped a bottle of disinfectant on the floor. They did give me a new room. It’s was dirty, not near as bad. There were holes in the fitted sheet and hairs on the floor of the shower. If it wouldn’t have been so late I would have left.

This is wonderful location right off the highway. The rooms were spacious and the beds super comfy. You could tell the bedding had just been laundered. The bathroom, however was a little “crusty.” The floor was dirty and there was some sort of crud on the shower curtain. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub on side but the hot tub was broke. It was cold. This place was fine for a one night stop.

The room was OK. Carpet was a little worn and dirty, would like to see no carpet at all. Bed was a bit too soft for me, but still clean and comfy. But in the bathroom (and this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever written in a review) the toilet was very low! Needs updating to a new higher one. Breakfast was standard fare, not bad, not great. The employees were very nice.

Fine for a stop over. Bathroom could be cleaner. (Baseboards looked like they hadn’t been wiped in months) Breakfast was good. Not their fault but construction on the road in the middle of the night was loud.

This is an older property but well kept. It’s very clean. We enjoyed having a larger size room with a sitting area. The breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable. Easy access to the highway.

Only complaint I have is that I stayed in the back of the building. The curtains did not come down far enough to block the light from the parking lot and it felt like it was the middle of the day all night long. Had no way to block out the light.

This hotel appears to be a renovated older hotel but the renodel is nice. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. There's quite a bit of noise so if you're a light sleeper you'll want earplugs. Overall, it's a nice place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The pool is nice and clean. Internet is very fast and the cable tv has lots of options. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay here for an overnight trip. The room accommodated my entire family of 5 comfortably. Breakfast was good and most of all I appreciated the staff for calling me right away after they noticed I left my laptop in the room. We ended up picking it up on our return trip a week later. I appreciate your staff’s kindness and honesty.

The staff was very accommodating and nice. They went above and beyond from suggesting restaurants in the area to bringing us fresh sheets when requested. The room was huge and very clean. The breakfast was really good and they had tons of options. My kids loved that they had Nutella for their waffles. We will use this hotel everytime we travel north from now on!

The hotel was fine. The staff was the most unhelpful. When I arrived at check in they told me they needed a $100 cash deposit because I lived within a 100 radius of where the hotel was. The girl from the hotel that called earlier who asked about needing a handicap room did not mention it. I know other hotels have that policy especially around prom season but it’s BS. I ended up not having to pay it because I gave Them pushback on it. The. When we asked about leaving one of our cats at the hotel while we went and hiked before coming back to get it- were told no and check with person in the morning. In the morning we had water bottles we wanted filled up- I asked the worker in the kitchen area during breakfast if he/me could fill them up- I was told to use the water fountain down the hall instead of the kitchen sink he was 15 feet from. Again hotel was fine but I have never had that Laisse faire mentality before

The staff was so friendly. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed and pillows. It’s an older hotel but well maintained. We had a couple of minor issues which were addressed and fixed immediately which was very impressive. Breakfast was nice and very well stocked and maintained. Hotel was quiet and great location. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning. The woman who was at the counter was so kind and courteous. The next morning she was just as pleasant, same with who took over that day and the woman maintaining the buffet kept it stocked and was so friendly.

Stayed here on the way down south for a family spring break vacation. Hotel was easy to find right off interstate 77. There was a lot of parking space even for a truck with a boat in the back! Nice area/location. Check in was fast and easy. The employees were friendly and prompt. The room/pool/lobby was very clean. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast, nothing special but something to start the day.

Overall was good. However during breakfast, a worker was guarding the breakfast items and we were suggested to tip without notice. On the visit we had to wait 20 minutes as he backed up breakfast in a line when I simply wanted yogurt.

Easy on and off highway. Comfortable beds However, building getting older, musty smelling. Worst thing, the breakfast was horrid. Chipped beef, white bread toast, awful coffee. Not a piece of fresh fruit and the dining area was not clean. I used to love staying here when traveling but maybe not any longer. Many people were leaving instead of staying for breakfast. I heard several groups asking where IHOP was or other breakfast alternative. Without a decent breakfast, it’s not worth the extra dollars to stay there. Sorry to write this kind of review

Idk how this place had any good reviews. The pull out bed was completely busted, my 10 year old couldnt even sleep on it. Had to put our own blankets over the massively stained couch so he could sleep there because they had no extra sheets or blankets. Disgusting, and couldn't wait to leave. Also the breakfast is a joke bc they have one person serving you food expecting a tip, instead of letting people get their own food, which caused a line and unnecessary wait. He should be paid to clean tables, not hand us milk for our cereal.
