We booked expecting hot tub and it was out of commission. This was disappointing. Our room was great, clean, no issues. I arrived to breakfast 15 minutes before it was finished and not much left, which I don’t blame on hotel. Overall I would recommend if you weren’t expecting a working hot tub. I feel we paid the price for one, but didn’t get it.

The elevator on second floor was down. Had to walk quite a way to other. Used the stairs a lot for closeness but hard on my hip which I have problems. All us was great, liked the renovations.

While an older space it was very clean. Breakfast was good. Pool and hot tub nice and clean. Staff was efficient and helpful. My biggest compliment is how they serviced our room during our stay. Exceptional, I haven't had that kind of service since prior to covid. Fresh towels surfaces wiped down beds made. Perfect 10/10. Also super convient to light rail shopping or Edmonds waterfront.

The breakfast was great! Hot tub was cold. Room was old and dated, and in need of a makeover. The hotel hallways were narrow and dark. Parking was free. For a couple nights near Seattle this was cheap hotel.

The hotel staff was kind but not very efficient. They had to switch me to three different rooms as the first bathroom had feces on the toilet and blood drops on the bathroom floor. The second room had a dirty toilet as well. (Old, but also had not been cleaned). The third room was clean but older and more dated than the first two. The housekeeping staff also did not perform turn down service on our second night there?! When I called to ask about it the cleaning staff had left and there was nothing they could do. The rest of the stay was fine but it was not a great start to our three day stay I did take photos but I will spare you. Hope this was just a bad day!

The room, common areas and parking lot were clean. This is an old, rundown building. The carpet is old and gross. Even though my room and bedding was nice and clean, there was a strong odor of urine in my room. That stressed me out and made me run out of there by 6 a.m. I didn't feel safe in the area. Any staff I interacted with, were very pleasant.

I didn't have the breakfast so no rating given. Staff was very friendly. My knock on this hotel was the cleaniness. I found a couple of dead roaches in the bathroom. Then I was making my coffee in the morning and the maker still had an spent pod in it.

The property was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good. The elevators seemed hidden as there were no clear signs above or around them which caused confusion for us and others. Hopefully, this could be fixed by adding signs .

While customer service was decent, the room visibly had stains on floor and bedding. Moldy tile. Smelled so bad was difficult to stay. Noisy due to ice machine next door and guest across hall who labeled door as "office" for evening with non-stop traffic. Ground floor faced busy road and did not feel safe. Despite the dirty room was charged an additional $50 per 15 lbs dog ($100 total). Expedia did not notify hotel despite selecting filter that I needed a pet friendly room. I could have stayed at a fancy hotel like JupiterNext in Portland, OR for the same price.

The room we had was so loud when we were trying to sleep. Any time someone in the room above us used the bathroom the pipes made a really loud squealing noise that made it hard to sleep. I was also a little bummed with how cheap the pillows and sheets were. One thing that I did enjoy was the breakfast so that made our stay a little bit better. Overall I’m not sure if we would stay here again, but you get what you pay for.

The room was nice and comfortable. Big bed, soft sheets and towels, nice pillows, big tv. The tub worked great. A couple spots on the walls that bothered me and the washer pressure in the shower wasn't the greatest but overall everything was clean. Breakfast was decent. I would definitely come back again.

The room wasn't spotless. It should have been aired out, and we found cobwebs on the remote. Other than that, the hotel was generally clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings were better than many places at the same price point. What the staff doesn't have control over is that the construction of the building was lower quality, and sound travels through the walls and hallways. Overall, this place is okay, not great.

Check-in was the least professional or welcoming that I’ve ever had. No “welcome”, no “your room number is…”, no “have a nice stay”. Nothing about the amenities or anything. It just felt like “take your card and go away”. It was an incredibly cold welcome and experience and it felt as if I was a nuisance simply for coming here to check in. I don’t think I would ever consider visiting this hotel again the next time I am in this area.

Elijah and his manager clearly aren't cut out for the hospitality business. I don't fancy myself a complainer, but check in went badly. When I got there I had printed my confirmation but he didn't look at it. I filled out all my papers and went all the way to the and of the hall on the 4th floor (at 10pm at night after a long travel day) and my key doesn't work. I had to go all the way back down and Elijah barely said "Sorry". He made my key again and all the way back up. This time it worked but it was a single room, not a double. If he had even glanced at my receipt he could have double checked that. So I called them, they switched my room, and it was still on the 4th floor, but I still had to go all the way back down to get the new keys. They pretty much handed me the key, said something about I must have gotten an upgrade and there was no, "Gosh we're sorry about that.."They were pretty silent. I'll give you I was a little hot, but it's not up to me to calm them down when they've goofed up. I've stayed at a lot of BW and these guys fell pretty short. My suggestion is to find another BW in the area with better reviews.

Room was excellent for the price for my stay, comparing to similar properties. Bed was very comfortable, nice to have fridge and microwave, and coffee machine. Room was generally quiet aside from loud talking guests at 4am (not the hotel's fault) who might have been outside our window. Staff was professional and courteous. Felt like a safe area in Alderwood, easy free parking. Complimentary breakfast was basic and fine with a couple of hot items (eggs and sausage) and a waffle maker. In a central area of Alderwood, nothing much walkable from the hotel. Alderwood Mall was close by (5 minute drive).

The location is convenient. We were there for a couple of days for some shopping. Easy access to the malls and commuter train to Seattle. The staff were friendly and hard working. Hotel was clean, room was a good size. We had a roll away bed that has seen better days. Room was odd because the bathroom sink was in the bedroom not the bathroom. This was inconvenient. Overall would likely stay again for an overnight stop.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel and thought our overall experience was great! The location is superb and closeby the Alderwood Mall. There were some restaurants nearby as well. The parking was easy and very convenient! the complimentary free breakfast had great options for all to enjoy with a 24/7 coffee/tea by the front desk. The only thing I didn’t like was the location of the hot tub and pool as it is beside the dining area. But overall, stay was great! Would recommend to others and would stay here again!

No eggs for breakfast on first morning. But on second morning…..oops - no eggs again. Chickens must’ve been on strike during our stay. Everything else was superb, but always a bummer when looking forward to a nice breakfast and are disappointed.

There was hair in the sink when we arrived to our room. When we went for breakfast on a Saturday at about 8:30, the only hot thing they had was sausage. They had no bread though a toaster set up. I was able to get a small box of Raisin Bran and left the only other box there for someone else. I have never seen a continental breakfast at a best western with almost no food.

This is a nice hotel — old, but well maintained. The room was comfortable and overall the property has charm. The breakfast, however, was disappointing. When I asked about gluten-free bread, I was told it was the one labeled “Wheat Bread.” That’s not gluten-free, and it made me question whether staff understood what gluten-free actually means. I’m also doubtful that the waffle mix they claimed was gluten-free truly was. On the plus side, the front desk staff who checked us in was amazing — friendly, professional, and very helpful. Unfortunately, checkout was the opposite. The woman at the desk seemed annoyed and not very friendly. Overall, a nice hotel with some real strengths, but the breakfast quality and staff training around dietary needs need improvement.

The complimentary breakfast was above expectations with numerous fresh fruits and a full line of breakfast feast items. The head chef went out of his way to make our experience VERY pleasant. Give him accolades! Alternately we had a problem with a damp bed pad under the sheets. That should not have happened.

Very full of people attending a baseball tournament and the staff was very efficient in checkin and answering a few of our questions. Breakfast is truly wonderful. Even though an old building some areas have been updated a bit... bathrooms could use a face lift but like everything it then increases the price of the stay. I am happy to have made this selection
