Days Inn by Wyndham West-Eau Claire

The property needs updated. Chips in the paint on the walls in the room & hallways. While swimming in the pool I could feel that paint loose on the floor of the pool as well. Only 1 towel was available in the pool area as well.

They had a nice breakfast and indoor pool, only bummer was the hot tub was out of order during our short stay.

The exterior was partly ripped up, there were building materials here, there and everywhere inside, our bathtub faucet dripped constantly, the room had a stale smell, the hot tub had no water in it (if we had known, we would have stayed elsewhere as that was one of our search criteria), and the breakfast was poorly stocked and out of things like utensils. The location was convenient and the cleaning lady was helpful and friendly.

Furniture was mismatched, coat rack was falling off wall, fan on bathroom wasn't working, found cigarette ashes near bed. Pool and gym were closed not operational.

The breakfast bar was not serviced the was outet covers missing all over. there was no cover on the bathroom exhaust fan. we stay for the pool and it was closed

Property is rundown. Bathroom had holes in the wall. Candy on the floor of our room. Bright red so kind of hard to miss if you were paying attention at all when vacuuming. Whole property smelled damp, especially our room.even after running the air conditioning for 2 days it was damp. No iron or iron board in room. Went to front desk to get one and was given a dodgy iron and miniature tabletop ironinboard but the legs kept collapsing so i went to my event looking pretty wrinkled. Bedding had some stains. Pool had peeling paint floating in the water. There were no towels available at the pool. We have stayed at older properties before that were maintained very well. This one is not. I believe all of the 10/10 reviews are fake done by the owners.

Pool and hot tub were empty. Really wish they would have communicated accordingly.

There’s no elevator. The hot tub is broken but don’t tell you that when you check in but will come into the pool area and kick u out. Also charged the wrong card even though I swiped my credit card. Beds r hard as a rock and even though it’s a non-smoking hotel it sure does smell like cigarettes.

We were in room 118 and it had a horrid musty smell to it. It was Country Fest weekend so no hopes of finding another hotel. It was a very warm and humid weekend with feel like temps over 100 degrees. They don't run the air when nobody is staying in the room and it just was so bad smelling. After a day or so of running the ac in the room the musty smell did not get better and then we could smell dog pee. The shower leaked really bad. They have full size bottles of shampoo and body wash attached to the shower wall but not locked so God only knows what someone could put in the bottles. Very sketchy! There are no coffee makers or coffee in the rooms. The door itself on the inside was broken. The pool area was clean. The hot tub does not want to turn on as you have to hold the button for a long time to get it to turn on. The breakfast was "frozen" sausages and "frozen eggs" that you were to warm up in the microwave they had on the counter. Hostess Twinkies and Hostess Cupcakes were offered in the pastry and doughnut case. They had several dry cereals to choose from. The bananas were brown and the mandarin oranges were dried up. We come to Eau Claire a lot and will never stay here again. Room 118 needs to be gutted!

The towels from our bathroom looked dirty and were all stained. The bathroom itself was not cleaned well at all.

Not sure room was cleaned. Dirty towel on floor, trash in trash can, open bar of soap, beds messed up, no shampoo or body wash. Hairdryer didn't work. Had to wait for coffee to be made.

We would not recommend this hotel. The room was filthy, bins not emptied from previous guest, bath did not drain so were standing in dirty water. See photo of black mould in bathroom. Constant noise from Interstate Breakfast was minimal, no choice of bread the only fruit offered was bananas, well past their edible status. Should not be listed

Room wasn’t very clean, jacuzzi tub had a rusted jet and edge had to watch not to hit your shin on. Shower had hair in it. Pile of dirt behind bathroom door. Thankfully bed was at least clean

The shower ceiling was nasty with mold or something all over it. Otherwise for the cost it was acceptable. Desk person wss kind and efficient

The room was okay. There was a piece of breakfast sausage on the floor when we got into the room. Very outdated hotel in general. The breakfast was not very impressive.

All the rooms had something dirty. One room had pee stains and hair in toilet as well as shower. Another room the toilet had a lot of hair. All rooms smelled bad humidity

The room had black stains on the floor and the desk chair also had stains or didn't seem clean. I asked the desk clerk about it when I checked out; clerk said stain was from hair dye from a previous guest. I didn't swim because the pool looked cloudy. The condition of the room made it feel like management didn't care. Many other rooms had doors ajar with renovation or reflooring projects. Breakfast provision was minimal. The whole experience was below Days Inn standards.

Grossest hotel I’ve ever been in. Super dirty. There were blood stains on the sheets. The room STUNK. Dirty underwear and mold in the bathroom. Staff were super rude.

The hotel needs an update really bad! The bed was the best part of the room. It was comfortable and the sheets smelled and looked clean. The continental breakfast was very sad looking.(even the bananas were over ripe) Coffee was not too bad.

The Tv had no signal and we were in a handicap room whuch we did not need. The hand held shower leaked very bad st tge connection on the wall.

They only had milk and coffee to drink. They only had over ripe bananas for fruit. I will never stay here again.

Bed was very high for the 5'-1" traveler. She needed help getting into the bed, which was a first in years of traveling -- and embarrassing. The bed also was quite hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience and pains in her neck in the morning. The only "egg disc" that seemed to be at a safe temperature was the one at the very bottom of the dish. The rest weren't close to a safe hot temp of 140 degrees. Additionally, the waffle maker didn't cook the waffle mix completely, so the centers had uncooked ... milk? some dairy product? I spit out the one bite I took for fear of food poisoning. My granddaughter said the sausage and waffle she had didn't taste right. Only the syrup did. She ate before I did, so I couldn't warn her about the food safety issue. I paid over $100 for this stay. Never will go there again and will be suspicious of any Days Inn by Wyndham.

The hotel is good for the price. They appear to be updating. Painters tape still up in room. No shampoo or shower gel in shower. Both were empty. Only two towels. Breakfast was very limited. This could be a great location with a little more effort and attention to detail.

The internet was slow. The shower had visible mold. The wall to the room was falling apart. The counter to the sink in the bathroom was falling apart. The hot tub tile had been painted and that was peeling off onto our skin and into the water. The "do not disturb " sign was ignored and both mornings we were disturbed by housekeeping. The first day was at 11am and the next day at 8:40am! The second morning they also attempted to open the door! The breakfast was complimentary but there was not much for a selection. Just milk to drink, no juice. The juice machine seemed to be set aside. Not even being used. There were eggs, sausage, cereal, bread, and yogurt. The waffle machine was available and working well. The coffee bar was minimal with minimal options. I woke up feeling unwell. The sheets seemed to be clean.

One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. - Stained carpet in room (blood?) - Heater was on or off. No middle. Sweat or freeze all night. - Toilet wiggled and rotated. - One inner window pane missing. - Towels were stained. - Rate was higher than the posted rate in the room. - 2 lamps wouldn’t turn on. - No coffee or juice in breakfast area. - Waffles or syrup were sour. - Staff wouldn’t discuss a refund - insisted I talk to the manager after 11 am. - Front entry was snow covered. - Random dirty towel stuffed into open water controls next to vending machine. - Open door to mechanical service room. Do not stay here.

Overall, good stay for an overnight drive. (+) Clean and comfortable room, bed, pillow, and sheets. Which is probably 90% of what I needed for the night. (-) The TV remote in my room wasn't working well, but I made do. The bathroom looked like it was in midway through a renovation. But it was clean and usable. It was missing the exhaust fan, the paint above the shower liner was chipping, and there were clear signs that wall patching still needed to be completed. But, the shower liner looked new(ish), the shower worked well and I had good running hot water for my shower. So serviceable for my overnight needs.

The room smelled musty and the wall was crumbling by the shower. Bed was comfy though.

Shower was changed and looked like a 6 year old did the work or there was leakage.

Tv was broken in room, thin walls and ceiling, the window was left open upon check in so the room was very cold

The first room i entered with my key was already occupied by some young men. Greatful that i was just doorsdiwn from the office. As a woman traveling alone - that could have gone all kinds of wrong. The room was clean, spacious. The bed cizy with soft clean sheets. I was disappointed when i could not figure out how to access the pool area. It was dark, locked and no information about how to use ut.

I reserved a room for two adults and three children. And I put in my notes that I would need a cot. We checked in, and the man sent us to a room which other people were already staying in! Then when I went back to the desk, he gave us another room, and I asked if there was going to be a cot and he told me not to worry about it, so I assumed there was going to be a couch. We got in the room. There was two full-size beds. I went back to the desk. The guy told me it would be extra for a cot. I told him I wasn’t paying anymore because I noted in my reservation. Then he told me they didn’t have any cots. I got really upset. It was after 9 o’clock at night with three little children. They they first told us the three of us should just sleep in a bed together and then offered offered me bedding so someone could sleep on the floor, at this point I totally lost it and was yelling at the man, then told me he was going to call the police on me, and it was all the fault of hotels.com that I did the booking through not the hotel I was at. My children who were also very excited to swim, already had their swimsuits on and when we saw the pool area there was a large, empty hot tub next to the pool, with no barricade, or anything around it someone could’ve fell in and got severely injured. We ended up leaving and thank God found another hotel at 10 o’clock at night.

Said they had a pool and they didn’t. We also called to see if our room was ready and we’re told it was then we get there and he says he gave it away to someone else so we would have to wait for housekeeping even though his house keeper was sitting on her phone in a chair in the lounge. Very unprofessional

Good location, nice staff & lot of eating places around.

This property is at a good location. It is a good choice for when you are on the road. The family that runs the inn work very hard to make sure people are comfortable. We have stayed here twice and would stay here again if in the area. It is good value

Nice location off freeway. Staff pleasant. Good rates. Breakfast was ok. Wish there was more offered, maybe a breakfast sandwich you could heat up. Rooms are updated and clean. The bathroom heater had chipping paint. Went into a room and there were curtains on the bed. Went to front desk to tell them and they got me another room, same thing. By the third time, they checked the room before letting me in. Wish pool was open.

Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, the overall experience was disappointing. The advertised pool was unavailable. We had to ask for towels. The breakfast was not serviced well--no waffle mix. 3 bananas, a few muffins, and this was at 8. It was advertised that breakfast would last until 9. We are unlikely to stay there again.

Overall a good experience. However, the tub water switch was tricky and the breakfast was mediocre at best.

The breakfast area had no air conditioning so it was hot and stuffy. The orange juice machine was broke without a note on it, so everyone kept trying to use it. The hot food was in open container so it was room temperature.
