The room was very new, clean, and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the workout area. I liked the Peloton bike and we both like the free weights. The hot tub and pool were nice. Pool area was very clean. Breakfast was good. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

The standard rooms are pretty tight when staying with a family of 4. The whole facility could use some updating and we were particularly disappointed that the hot tub was out of service both nights of our stay. Our room was on the end right by the road so it was rather loud. The room was clean but we weren't super impressed.

I would like to see the fees for having a pet before I reserve a room. This fees is not shown on Expedia. I was charged $75 for a pet. In other hotels the fee was $12.50-25,00

Hotel was super-clean and up-to-date. Very nice room. Adequate free breakfast, some good, some OK, some not so good. THE HOT TUB WAS OUT OF ORDER! This was one of our "game changer" amenities...disappointing.

Visited Eau Claire with friends and stayed here. It was a good stay overall, staff were helpful and courteous, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nice pool and whirlpool tub. It's located outside of downtown, but only takes a few minutes to drive there. Less than perfect: the hotel was very full, and the one small elevator was always busy, so it could take a while. The breakfast area was also busy, seating could get scarce. The breakfast offerings were typical, meh in my opinion.

Comfy beds, amazing breakfast - decent sized pool - however Hot Tub was down which was not disclosed when we booked as that was one of the main reasons for coming to this hotel :(

Main disappointment was the pool was shut down for cleaning, so we couldn't use. That was the main reason we booked at this location vs a competitor, that cost us more money. Good breakfast & restful stay.

My room smelled like smoke someone who used the room before us must have smoked in that room. It was disgusting. I even opened up the window the best I could to air it out but it still Stunk.

Beautiful hotel. Nicely decorated. Friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed/plenty of pillows. Had a nice coffee/tea bar with plenty of choices. Nice continental breakfast. Excellent hotel at a reasonable price.

Our check in took an astronomical amount of time, then once we got our hotel keys and got to our room on the third floor, the keys didn’t work. We had to haul our new born back down to the front desk where they laughed off they wrote the wrong number down. The towels in our room were dirty and we had to go to the front desk for new ones. There was a Taco Bell sauce packet under the sink in our bathroom so clearly the room was not cleaned. Sunday we had called to the front desk to ask about a later check out, with the 90 degree weather and our tournament game not starting until 1:00 we were hoping to stay in the AC a little longer. When the front desk answered I didn’t so much as finish the sentence when the rude front staff interrupted me to say that had none available and hung up on me. None available? At 11 on Sunday? Blows my mind. I don’t recommend staying here.

My sheets were wet and I slept on a towel. My daughter was sleeping by the time I got back to the room so I didn’t call front desk so she wouldn’t wake up. The comforter was not wet. Just a big area in the sheets.

Good place to stay to get around town and surrounding areas. Free breakfast/coffee was good. Unfortunately I had a noisy room, was not aware when I checked in there I would be over the front door. The cars come and go till late, smokers congregate and talk definitely a noisy room. I would suggest asking about room location when checking in. Lastly reason I booked this hotel was for the hot tub, was out of order for the weekend.

The breakfast staff was very nice. We had an issue with our missing Expedia reservation, but that was corrected with an appropriate room by the desk staff. Rooms are nicely decorated; it appears they were recently remodeled. Room walls don’t adequately block noise though. We had noisy neighbors. Location provides easy access to the City and area highways.

Was excited to stay at a Hampton for the first time, but it wasnt impressive. Older building, window in the room didn't shut well, traffic was pretty loud. Beds werent comfy, pillows were nice. Room could use a deep cleaning, stuff stuck to the wall in the bathroom, pictures were dirty. Overall, just not impressed. Had high expectations I guess.

The rooms are very small, our room had two double beds and it felt very tight. There is no closet In the room, rather there’s a bar affixed to the wall, next to the bed, that serves as a place to hang your clothes. It’s definitely a weird configuration. Also, the toilet sits very low to the ground. Not convenient for elderly guests. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. This place is fine an overnight stay, and a limited budget. But, if you plan on staying in town a few days, and don’t mind spending a little more, you can definitely do better than here.

We specifically booked this hotel for the hot tub. I booked it late in the evening the night before our arrival date. I checked in and on the counter was a sign that said the the hot tub was closed for maintenance. Nothing on the website stated that. The employee said they called all the people that had reservations but not me because I booked 3rd party. Then another person walked in behind me and was in the same boat i was with no notice. And at this point, we could not cancel and get our money back and move to a different hotel. Very disappointed. And the employee didn’t seem to care.

The staff at the Hampton Inn Esau Claire was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to those attending the marathon. The hotel went above and beyond to provide breakfast early and extra snacks for the runners and spectators both before and after the race. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Room was clean, had everything a person needs, but very little storage space for a longer stay. The bed was probably fine for some but very uncomfortable for me, mattress too hard. The breakfast was fine, but ran out of things quite often. If they know the hotel is full, they should be planning ahead for how much food will be needed.
