Decent place, decent neighborhood (but a lot of shady characters). I was afraid to go out by myself after dark. The standard king was a big let down but for a small fee, I was able to upgrade to a superior king, which was much better. The parking lot was horrible, full of huge pot holes. The rooms looked like they have been barely maintained for many years. The sink faucet was falling off, the tub was scary and the towel rack above the sink fell off when I put the towel back on it. If you are looking for middle of the road, not really much bang for your buck, then this place is not too terrible. But I will not be staying here again.

They have laundry facilities available to do wash but it is overpriced and very difficult to get quarters for the machines. Also if u stay there and pey at property not only do u have to wait til the next day to get your change back from check-in but they also charge you a $3 non refundable key fee. Only when u pay cash. If u pay via hotels.com they do not charge a key fee.

We did not enjoy our stay at Red Roof. The parking lot was a mine field of deep potholes, check-in was average, the room was small, not clean, and in need of a lot of repairs. There were virtually no amenities other than WiFi, not even an ice bucket.

Affordable option but definitely needs updated and cleaned. The furniture, bathroom, etc have all seen much better days. Did feel safe and the staff was great but would not choose to stay here again.

Wanted to like this property but I lost it as seeing the roach. Forgave the paint peeling from ceiling, smoke detector beeping and hanging by a wire, stained and cigarette burned bedding, lampshade broken off and set back on top of the lamp.

The room was absolutely dirty. Shoe prints in the tub, blood stains on the bed spread, a big gap in the door, and the heating/cooling unit was sepsis or tetanus waiting to happen. We were offered a different room, but by the time i got back from the front office, we were unpacked and ready for sleep.

I left after the room . I found what seemed like dry blood in the bathroom. The tub was never cleaned. I could only imagine how the rest was. I left immediately and checked out at the front desk. The lady at the front didn’t know what to do or say . I told her I wanted a refund. I was not going to stay in another room . I have been a chief engineering for over 25 years. This is a disaster. We used to use that particular red roof in years ago and it is really gone downhill. You all need to upgrade it big time holes in the walls dirty carpets. Just a bad experience. I would never use it again.

I really can't say that I liked anything about this property. It is run down, used, the bedding was stained and worn with holes in the comforter. The smell was not pleasant. The place was not represented very well at all online I would have never stayed here had the pictures online were true to actual. Shoddy and was told prostitution/drugs are very common here. Be careful. I'm just disgusted. I asked for a different comforter from the staff. She didn't speak English well at all but all she could say was "it's clean".

There is garbage in the grassy and wooded area, more than I think I've ever seen. Then I woke up to cockroaches in the bathroom and on the counter by the sink. I took photo's to share with the front desk and all that was said is we'll get a exterminator. I explained I hope I don't bring any home and it will make me do a lot of extra work to ensure that doesn't happen. They didn't seem to even care, not even a sorry about that. NOTHING!! I spent hours washing and disinfecting every single thing when I got home.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. When checking in, the receptionist commented that they weren’t sure they had a room clean (at least an hour after check-in time, and with a reservation). The room wasn’t much; the door catch was broken, the door would stick and not close all the way. It was more a motel than hotel. But it was cheap and did the job.

The staff was excellent. Courteous and friendly and concerned about the customer. The room I was in had a worn out lumpy mattress, the bathroom door had been damaged and the wall at the floor in the bathroom had water damage. The free coffee was delicious.

Real big issue was the state of the heater/AC unit in the room with parts of it hanging off or fully uncovered. Also lots of poor repair jobs/general upkeep. But it serves the purpose well when you just need somewhere to stay for a night and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg.

This hotel is fine for an overnight stay but I wouldn't stay any longer than that. The room was clean enough, but the condition of the rooms are abysmal. My air conditioner looked like it had been hit by a car (although it worked), my comforter had cigarette burns in it, and the carpeting between the beds was so matted I kept my shoes on the whole time. The furniture is damaged and worn, everything needs to be replaced. I've stayed here twice but it might be the last time.

It was cold. No heater. Very basic hotel for a quick overnight stay if needed but no longer than that. Furniture was very old. Didn’t feel sanitary at all. Broken AC that had a small crack. I could see the outside through that crack (which was probably letting in more cold air). Hopefully people can’t see the inside from that crack if they tried hard enough.

We stayed for just a night, and shouldn’t have. The front desk was rude at check in, and not very helpful with any information. The room itself was disgusting. Mold growing in the shower, the room reeked of cigarette smoke but was “non smoking”, holes in the curtains and bedding, the A/C unit was destroyed and not useable. The outlets weren’t working, so we weren’t able to charge our phones. Things were taped together, and poorly repaired. The bed itself was old and springy.

The two ladies that work at the desk first and second shift always welcomes us with a smile and how ya been! It feels like seeing family every time we go there, please tell they that they are loved and thought of when we went there! Please give them both a raise, and your rooms are always so clean

Due to delays in my flight, I was not able to check in until two a m. There was somebody available at the front desk to help me and I got my key. I should have known by the amount of people with their doors open, misic playing, and people sitting outside in camp chairs. When I opened the room, my eyes watered from the smell. I went back to the front desk and had to wait to speak to the same woman behind a group of 4 young ladies. Lets just say I was questioning their profession at almost 2:30 am. I finally asked for another room, but they were full. When I asked for a refund, the woman at the desk said no. I asked to call the manager or have someone speak to me She said, no, and that they would tell me the same thing. That if I was unhappy with that answer, then all I could do was call the police. I ended up taking an Uber back to the airport because an event had every hotel booked, and I slept in a chair until 7 am and could pick up my rental car and continue my trip.

Room had very nice bed and towels were fluffy. Great shower. Missed having a coffee maker in room, had to go to front office for it. We had a king room and the layout was nice and comfortable. Down side the flooring and air conditioner were in bad shape. Staff was friendly but seemed over worked especially at check in waited in line for a half hour for them to figure out what rooms were clean.

The staff hands down the best staff, the three ladies at the front desk are sooo amazing words can’t describe how much I appreciate them and how they make us feel like we’re friends and family, we come often so we’ve become closer and it’s a real pleasure every time we talk to them…. I wish I could tell the owner all three ladies deserve a raise but I know with today’s economy it’s impossible l, if I could I’d give them $100 dollars each for the love and care that they have shown, I can only pray this review gets to the owner!!! Especially for the lady that works first shift

I was still charged $185 dollars for a couple nights that I didn't stay at the hotel, I told the person at the front desk when asked if I was going to stay again, I said no as the money I was waiting for had not been deposited in my account, only to later find out I was still I charged! I tried calling the manager but he NEVER RETURNED MY CALL !!
