Super 8 by Wyndham Sheboygan WI

They finally got breakfast. Could be better but it's better then nothing. Was told washer was working by owner but went to go use it and has an out of order sign on it. There's still lots of misconceptions while getting a room here.

The carpets were dirty. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The air conditioner didn’t work. You couldn’t open the window because the screen was ripped. The bathroom sink was cracked. There were a lot of people, who looked homeless, hanging around the side entrance where we had to go in. The outside door that was to be opened with the key was propped open with a brick. I would never stay there again.

If I hadn’t been on the road for 9 hours and so exhausted. I’d kept driving All three door ways. Including the front door way was a smokers lounge. You had to walk through billows of second had smoke to just enter the building. Check in was fine. Hallway to the room overwhelmed with the smell of pot. Middle entry that I was told to use to enter and exit as it was closest to my room huge party. Loud music until we’ll after 11pm. Grilling out at the back door on the sidewalk. Rolling dice on the back side walk. The doorways should not be blocked. We shouldn’t have to walk through someone else’s party to get into the building. Chicken bones on the back stairs. Bag of garbage in the hall when we checked in,was still there when we left. Ice machine out of order. Sign on ice machine indicated that it was out of order a long time. Best part of our stay, toilet not bolted to floor. Tipped when you sit on it Not line up, so first flush water all over floor. We Had to re align toilet to floor flange. Front desk attendants best answer was that she’d let maintenance know on Monday. Showers ran out of hot water. Twice. Saturday night. No hot water. Sunday morning no hot water. Breakfast in the front vestibule. Cramped. Filthy. Not a chance I’d stay to eat there. Overall, can believe the Wyndham name can be associated with this place. The name. The $300 price tag. Deceitful. Bait and switch waste of money. I’ve stayed in better Motel 6.

I did need a place to stay, so that was good. It was convenient to my destination (17 minutes). I was on the 2nd floor. No elevator. Stairs had debris and were dirty all 3 days I was there, so that told me they never vacuum. Stains on the carpet in the hallway, but the room was OK. Some minor things like patching in the tub, not SUPER clean, but the beds were decently comfortable and pillows nice. A/C worked but seemed colder than what I set it at. Didn't try breakfast. I thought it was weird the sink for the bathroom was DIRECTLY at the door to come in to the room. Definitely NOT the value I paid for a room. Was VERY high for the event I attended because of lack of hotels for this.

The housekeeper does not oblige by the "Do Not Disturb" & continued to knock on door. The inside of the place does not look like what is advertised on their website. The room and carpets are stained & filthy, I had to relocate to a higher room with all of my belongings because I had two bed bugs crawl on me as I was napping after work. The desk clerk seemed as though she had an attitude about it. Here is the kicker, NO Elevator! The hair dryer didn\'t work in the first floor room. At the hair dryer worked in the second room however the window barely closed and did not lock. The rooms smelled of wet musk and weed. Thank goodness I bring smell good products along because you never know. The nerve and audacity of the place to be charging the amout they do for the way this place looks and feels. This place either need to fully upgrade or shut down. Bed bugs! Unacceptable. I only stayed due to other local hotels being fully booked during a derby event. This was a distasteful visit. The staff and the location to shop and/or eat was the most pleasant than anything. Most likely wouldn\'t visit again. The building is very outdated.

No hot water, a/c quit working overnight, one of the worst breakfast bars, room was not clean, bathroom smelled. Upon check in -late at night- was notified that the hot water was not working. NO reimbursement, no credit. Don't stay here. Does not deserve to be on the Wyndham list.

Conveniently located, easy check in. No one present at the desk when we returned and the door wasn't secured. We had a double queen room and the mattress was absolutely filthy! Appeared to be be blood stained, could have been growing mold and the headboard detached from the wall along with paint chips all over the wall. Truly looked like a crime scene. If it wasn't 4 a.m. when we returned and no one at the desk I would have demanded another room.

The coverlet on the bed was so dirty Lack of elevator

Absolutely awful. Filthy. Locks broken on exterior doors. No front desk staff. Rooms dirty, linens pathetic. No breakfast food. Loud. Overall disgusting. Halls filthy, floors dirty. I would never stay in a super 8 again!

My first room was already occupied, I could have walked in on someone. My sheets had blood stains on them. My ants room had her bathroom sealing caving in and the whole room smelled like vomit.

The whole hotel smells like flowers and the place is rundown, the sheets were clean but our bed cover had burn holes. We wouldn't stay here again.

Dirty dirty dirty, holes in walls all for $150 per night. what a disappointment

Good location and friendly night staff. However, this hotel was absolutely disgusting! Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Both rooms were unacceptable. The first room smelled like marijuana. The second room was so filthy that it should’ve been taped off and thoroughly disinfected and remodeled. The mattress had blood stains all over it and there was garage, leftover food, dirt and dust behind the headboard. I am beyond disgusted and should receive a partial refund!

Our room and the hotel is disgusting. There is black mold in the roof. Our bath is ripped up and peeling. They cancelled breakfast 2 years ago and have not updated their site to reflect this. There are vomit stains all over the facility and more black mold spots. Our room has holes in the walls and exposed wires. The security lock has been ripped off the door.

Property is need of a major update. Rooms were dirty, exposed drywall, stained linens etc. Continental breakfast was absolutely pitiful. I am surprised Super 8 lets their name be branded .

The filthiest hotel i have ever stayed in.

The room was stinky. The housekeeping staff came in and it was a little better. We went and bought Lysol disinfectant spray and glade air freshener. That did help. The cold water handle on the sink was loose. Robe/towel holder was loose. The refrigerator needed to have water and ice removed from below the freezer. Was overfilled and we had to pull the refrigerator out to empty. Spilled water over the floor when emptied. We thought the breakfast had very little to choose from with no juice available. We fixed the refrigerator problem, reported all. Do believe the cleaners were just unaware of frig. Staff were hard to understand.

The room was very dirty, there was hair and dirt in the bathtub like it never got cleaned. There was also what looked like make-up all over the sheets. Our room was by the door to the outside so all night we could hear everyone coming in. The TV also didn't work, we called and the front desk lady did eventually show up to try and fix it. She said it just had to re-load, but we had the same problem after she left so we couldn't even watch TV, we just gave up and went to bed. The breakfast only had a couple choices, and they were out of things. Overall, I would not recommend staying here, very dated and dirty.

The website says allows dogs. After checking in we find out they no longer allow dogs. The front desk lady did let us stay though. The TV didn't work on the first room so we switched rooms then the A/C didn't work in the 2nd room.

Air conditioning was noisy.

Ok to stay for a night. Room had issues with smoke detector and hole in bathroom door. Lots of hall noise at night.

Rooms and hallways were is rundown and patched up condition. Beds were rock hard. Service desk staff were not very friendly.

The room was old but acceptable. There was no air conditioning, and we were charged an additional $170.04 as a deposit when we checked in, but the hotel never reimbursed us.

The carpets in the halls are dirty, water stains on the ceilings, and holes in the walls from curtain rods being replaced in the bathroom which is basically a closet with low height toilets. There was paint missing on the walls, no usb connections,and the building in general is in serious needs of upgrades.

Staff was non existent after check in. Coffee makers in the lobby but no coffee made in the morning. The carpet was filthy, bathroom light didn't work, no one at the desk at night. Would not recommend

Very friendly and easy check in

This property has not refunded me for a stay I booked with Expedia. I requested a refund days earlier and was told they couldn’t refund me Expedia that the property had to, then staff at Super 8 said I had to be refunded by Expedia. They’re basically just tossing blame around.

Was avke to switch from King size to two beds. Check in was easy. Plenty of parking.

The beds were very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. I was pleasantly surprised there was a mini-fridge and microwave in addition to the coffee maker in the room. Breakfast included a waffle maker and a pancake maker. Check in and out was easy!

The moment we checked in and we were settled in our rooms we heard a loud noises and extreme knocking from one of the other guest from down beneath us on room 119 and started screaming and treating us. We complained to the front desk but the only response we got was there nothing they can be done since he’s long term guest. The smell and the condition of the room weren’t acceptable too.

When I checked out, they could not give me a receipt, or even tell me how much I’d been charged! Very unsettling. Motel was very dated . Bath tub had a big crack, carpets in hallways were old and soiled, door to the outside (midway) warped and rotting wood. It was just kind of depressing.

Close to Hwy 43, businesses and eateries.

The hotel and staff are great, it’s unfortunatey in an area with crime.

Convenient to everything.

Staying here for a motorcycle race it’s close and it’s clean and close to many place to enjoy yourself.

It was convenient place to stay for our next day activity.

Excellent access to highways and quiet.

After reading reviews we didn't know what we were getting into. BUT we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. The hallway getting to the room was outdated but who cares? The shower in our room was probably the best hotel shower we've ever had! We will stay here again! Great location too!

Quiet but out of the way.

We have often stayed at this property because it is relatively inexpensive and close to Road America. The hotel itself is in a safe area, plenty of driveable food and shopping options, and of course really close to the Lake. It's fine for a quick trip.

Website lists breakfast provided at this location. There was no breakfast offered at all. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly.

On the Hotels.com web site it said free breakfast. There is no breakfast. Not even a coffee maker in the room. When I called Hotels.com I got the run around and the online chat doesn’t work. There’s also no closet. There is a safe. Even at this cheap rate I consider it overpriced for what you get.

While the facility was clean and the furnishings adequate, there were a few disappointments. For instance, patched holes in walls that remained unpainted. The continental breakfast lacked variety.

The fan was loud and was off and on all night. Website and sign in the lobby said there were breakfast items, there wasn't. Spotty paint. No notice on website that pool was under construction.

Online described as: Pet friendly and Breakfast included. Both are not included anymore. Please fix that information online

The stay was comfortable but the rooms were not ver clean. The comforter has stains ad rips. The outlets don’t work well. Some lights were out. Even the hotel reservation said free breakfast, there was non. There was coffee available.
