Hot tub was same temperature as pool so definitely not a hot tub. We paid extra to stay at a hotel that had a hot tub. I called the front desk around 6:00pm and they said someone would check it out. It was never fixed/turned up. We also reported it to an employee who walked thru pool area as well Very disappointing. Otherwise hotel was fine with great breakfast

We had confirmed an accessible room, and everything was great in terms of parking, room size, accessible show with seat, etc. However, when it was time for breakfast, we found that the room was 1/2 story down via steps. We were first told "sorry this is an old hotel and we don't have an elevator." After we stood there for a while with our walkers looking lost, they offered that we could get into our car and drive around to the back and go in through another door on the lower level. This would have involved lifting both walkers back into the car, lifting them out of the car, and repeating all that after breakfast. Eventually they offered to carry our walkers down if we could use the railings to walk down. We agreed to do that - not true accessibility, but we got to eat!

The staff are friendly but tge rooms need to be updated. The first room, the fridge didnt work. We got moved to a different room but the faucets were leaking, the carpet felt sticky, I like to walk barefoot but I couldn't do it there. The conditioner and hand soap was empty the first day we were there. The staff were good at giving us replacement including toilet paper. They did a power wash on the pool floor and the water splashed into our room where I was standng in the room, the carpet got wet. I have asthma and something was disturbing my lungs and I wonder how many times that carpet got wet, and maybe mold underneath??? The breakfast was good. We used the gym, there's a nice patio but it was not kept up, weeds growing everywhere, it would of been a nice place to sit and enjoy the free breakfast in the morning.

They really need to update their info. The website says there is a guest laundry facility. In actuality there is a single washer and dryer and the dryer is inoperable and has been for quite a while according to the girl at the desk. Secondly the signs say the pool closes at 11 but the help came in the pool area at 10:15 yelling at our kids to get out then lied and said they told them twice. How do I know they were lying, because I was sitting in a chair next to the pool the entire time. Then they tried to say it was in the paper work we signed at registration, which may or may not have been true but the bottom line is if it’s such a big deal, update your stupid sign. Finally, as I was leaving I grabbed something from the gift shop. The girl behind the counter pulled out a 3 ring binder and took 5 minute to look up the price of an item then proceeded to charge me more than quadruple the price listed in the gift shop. When I protested she said “they really need to update their prices.”

Older property, but updated, older part of town and but had a really nice restaurant across the street. Stayed poolside that was noisy until 10 pm, then quiet. Pet friendly, and a nice birthday g area to walk our dog.

The bathroom had mold all around the molding in the tub. The staff were all helpful and kind. However when I asked to get my room cleaned and bed made while we were out I was told I would have to schedule that a day ahead of time . I was also told in order to get new towels to shower I had to bring the old towels to the front desk. I will not stay there again .

Bathroom area, toilet in relation to the shower was tight. Besides that, the place was really clean. Smelled clean too. And not a sprayed febreze to cover smells clean. This is a clean and comfortable room.

My room was not ready when i arrived. I was told they would contact me when ready. Never did. There were hundreds of dead gnats all around the window and air conditioner. Made them come clean them up. Found more later on bathroom ceiling and shower curtains. Fridge was filthy and found hair in it. Found hair in shower and pee stains and hair on toilet. Carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Feet were black when i walked around for less than an hour.. The best thing about this stay was the breakfast. 10 out of 10!

I liked the location in proximity to the Duluth area. I don't think that what we paid per night is a good reflection on the quality of the hotel. The room was very small and the hotel was outdated. There was no elevator and we had a little one that comes along with a bunch of extra baggage so that was inconvenient. But the desk clerk was kind enough to offer to help us carry things up to the second floor. The toilet paper holder in our bathroom was broken, and the remote didn't work for the tv so we had to go request a new one. In general the property was quiet, couldn't hear people in the other rooms but we were poolside. Other guests were inconsiderate when it came to our little one in the pool but I don't blame the hotel for that. The breakfast attendant was very helpful, she noticed I was struggling to carry everything and pointed out trays I could use. Overall, given options I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again.

Worried about the appearance and possible bed bugs after arriving and looking at the room at first glance. It felt it looked a little rough but after spending the night and a week later, no bed bugs and the room was quiet enough to sleep.

The room was very nice - big TV, spacious, nice layout. Fitness center was good. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was cold - 67 degrees was the warmest we saw. It was cold (single digits) and windy. The front desk said that side of the building was hard to keep warm and offered us to move to the other side of the building - down some stairs and way across. We didn't accept that offer due to the inconvenience. I mentioned the issue when checking out and the front desk didn't seem to acknowledge the issue. However, the price we paid was lower than expected, and very competitive for the area. I'd stay here again but if it's cold I'd ask to make sure the heating system can keep up with the climate!

The pool is n the middle of the property & the rooms ,super quiet ( no pool noise) and nice ! Breakfast was lovely good choices ! Good space in the room was a good stay .

We had a 4 day stay. Under staffed. Staff, including managers had poor attitudes. Reluctant to help with issues if they could even be found. AC in first room kept throwing the breaker. When we moved to a different room we had to request to have it cleaned, which we did daily, but it was only cleaned on one of the 4 days. We had to keep going to the front desk for towels, toilet paper, and room suppies.

They only had one room reserved. We needed two. The receptionist didn't say they only had one room until she charged me for that one so we had to go elsewhere. I'm now trying to get itthe charge reversed as all she would do is give me an email saying my reservation was cancelled. My credit card was charged

The hotel is in Superior, just south of The Duluth bridge. Free parking at the older hotel, but provided a pool and hot tub. Beer store and restaurant is just across the street. Excellent complimentary breakfast in the morning. A great over night resting spot.

Things look a bit old, you can tell this place has seen some years. However, the room was updated and clean, and the food offerings for breakfast and happy hour were great! I think it’s excessive to charge a pet fee for every single day. Once for the duration or once a week for long term guests would be more fair. My little Yorkie who spent very little time in the room, is extremely well behaved, and doesn’t even shed cost $75 for only 3 days.

The hotel needs updating. The hall carpets are old and the room smelled like dirty socks. The breakfast was really bland. Scrambled eggs and the same old sausage links. Maybe substitute bacon on some mornings to break up the monotony. It was an ok stay but if Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn was in the area, i would have opted for them.

The location was great. The room was orderly. The in-room hairdryer was not only broken, it was sticky (gooey) ick. The continental breakfast was an adequate selection, but no fresh fruit.

The hotel was one of the lower priced ones in the area. It was graduation night and all the prices were inflated in the area. The hotel has a problem with supplying hot water for the shower when fully booked. We had a cold/lukewarm shower the first morning. Breakfast is great. Lots of variety.
