The breakfast options and setup are above average. The saltwater pool is phenomenal and fun for the kids. The staff are very personable and helpful. I have stayed there twice now with the kids and plan to return when in the area again.

Hotel was excellent and extremely quiet. Breakfast area was great and very comfortable. We would though strongly recommend a new or different entry bar when using the spa. Even at 6'2' it was not all that easy getting in and then having to feel for the bottom, relying on only have a small 8' bar to rely on for leverage. It was even trickier and less safe, when trying to get out.

This hotel was in great condition and just off the main 2-lane highway running through the area. On the other side of the hotel was a harbor view. It was just outside of town. The rooms and property were clean. Housekeeping was available. The laundry on the first floor was clean and the machines worked. I didn’t try the free breakfast but the system was to go to a door and, “tell them what you want.” Both an outdoor and an indoor pool were added perks. The rooms were largish. Mine had a small balcony with chairs - over the parking lot. I used it but think I I might take a harbor view room next time.

ALL the staff wherever you interacted with them were super friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. The room was super clean. (have to request housekeeping) There is a very hearty breakfast every morning which is a huge plus. Pools are nice and clean. The grounds are beautiful and waterfront! Close to downtown Belfast and other sightseeing adventures.

I loved the Belfast Harbor Inn. It is the cleanest Motel I have ever stayed. The lobby, pool and the rooms were in excellent condition!! Staff were excellent, they were quick to help you with any issues! The continental breakfast was great!! I would love to visit again in the future!!

This is probably one of the cleanest hotels you will ever stay in. It's newly renovated and extremely well maintained. The staff takes good care of you and breakfast is nice because you order off of a little menu and then staff prepares your own personal tray. My only complaint would be the highway noise seems quite loud when staying in a room on the front side of the building.You are charged significantly more to stay on the back side which also has a view of the bay, and would be much quieter. Overall, it is one of the best places I've stayed in.

This is a clean, serviceable motel, with lovely waterfront views one mile out of the town of Belfast. My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights while we attended a nearby music camp. The staff was lovely and helpful, and the facility was in excellent shape with all the promised amenities (indoor and outdoor pool, free breakfast, etc.) Since covid, room cleaning has been cut way back and is by request only. I think a better policy would be every other day or every third day, as well as by request. As far as we could tell, no one cleaned our room at all during a 5-day stay, and it felt uncomfortable to have to request service. Other than that, we would highly recommend Belfast Harbor Inn. Thanks for a lovely stay!

In need of some remodeling Hallway had dirty and stained carpet The room was clean as clean as you can get it but it had a musky wet smell We came here in 2019 and it was a lot cleaner and felt very welcoming but this time a totally different feeling There was big unclean plastic panels on the guest service counter from the coving days, and felt weird and cold Breakfast was a disappointment since you ware not allowed to pick yourself like all other hotels we stayed at and you can’t see what it is you need to read on a printed paper There is a cart in the kitchen doorway serving as a counter and you have to ask for what you want and she will give it to you, I felt like they are afraid you’re gonna take too much lol. This place feels very disconnected, cold and stuck in the passed. I like more of a warm personal connection, but maybe that’s just me. On the other hand the views are gorgeous and you can walk down to the beach.

The hotel is very nice. It has a great pool and hot tub. The check in staff was very friendly. I will say i called the day before to allow my friend to check in. I gave the person my credit card for all charges and incidentals. I was a little upset they still took my friends credit card information. Other places have not done that when i call and set up a check in for someone. The beds are extremely hard like sleeping on plywood and the hot water in the shower was kind of low temperature at certain times. Small details. Over all the hotel is updated, clean, and friendly. The quiche at breakfast was delicious

I've stayed at Belfast Harbor Inn many times, and it's consistently reliable -- clean, well managed, thoughtful. The outdoor pool was lovely this hot August, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Two small quibbles: like many hotels now, you must request room service. I tried to set this up for every other day, but the message did not get through to the housekeepers, so my room was not cleaned on one of the scheduled days. And the hotel has changed the complimentary breakfast from a self-serve buffet (which I prefer) to a situation where you need to stand at a window and request items from the kitchen. All told, the property is beautifully situated with lovey ocean views from the back patio and a short drive to Belfast and other sites of interest.

Place was easy to find, and we were on the second floor in room 205. The noisiest heating system we have ever heard. It wasn't the usual flow of the heat coming on and off, but it sounded like a diesel truck was parked outside our window, running. The only time it went off, is when the heat was off, around 6 am. We both had to wear ear plugs to sleep, as the sound was so annoying. Other than that, the place was nice. Breakfast had good options. It was close to family, so it was a great location.

Staff was not friendly, aside from Dee that we saw only in our last couple days. They walked around without speaking and did not say good morning or welcome back at all as we were coming and going. Made my elderly mother and my kids and I feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The access to the beach behind the Inn was nice, but we will not be returning.

We arrived @ 1:45 for early check in, as I called the day before and confirmed I could do this. The lady behind the counter said, sorry we have had many cancellations and housekeeping hasn’t given me the ok. She advised us to wait 15 mins. We came back @ 2:20 and was told sorry still can’t check in, wait till 2:30. We sat in car and watched as she turned a family away. We grab something to eat come back and check in @ 3:30. We leave to go into town for dinner and come back around 8 and hope to relax. There are people slamming doors, running up and down the halls till 10:30 pm. Car alarms going off, people screaming, we call front desk no one answers. Would be a great place if the staff was kind, and also managed the chaos!

The staff was excellent, a car’s horn was going off every 2 minutes last night. A staff member (Luke I believe). Went out and located the car and was able to locate the people to turn it off. Job well done, we will return.

This was not really walkable, but it is a very short drive to the footbridge you can walk across to get to the waterfront in Belfast. We had planned to visit a friend but she had Covid, so it was nice to find a very nice place to stay instead. They had a very nice laundry room and sitting area, which we needed because we’d expected to have laundry at our friends place! The hotel is near the highway, but there’s a field behind it, that stretches to the waterfront. It was lovely to look out our window and see the water and boats. We walked down to the water and there was a nice beachy area we could walk on. Breakfast in the hotel was good. Not super fancy, but it was a good start for the day.

We stayed here for one night on the way to Acadia, National Park. It was a little over an hour from Bar Harbor, Maine which was really nice. This hotel far exceeded our expectations! Our only regret was arriving late so we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the pools! They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, the rooms are very clean and modern, and breakfast was spectacular! We had choice of a variety of homeade mini quiches, fresh baked cinnamon rolls, blueberry coffee cake , flaky croissant along with hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc... We were very impressed. Not to mention the view over the lake while eating breakfast was gorgeous both on the deck or inside. On top of that, the staff was extraordinary and so polite - checking in multiple times that our room and stay was good. Would love to come back here and will recommend this place to everyone! A+++

This hotel offered a continental breakfast that was the best. They had oatmeal as well as the standard cereals and they had hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee. They had fruit and yogurt. They freshly baked items like lovely blueberry scones, muffins, cinnamon buns and bagels. And to top it off they had freshly made mini quiches in 3 different flavors! Fabulous!

We had a water view which was worth a few extra dollars. The reception upon arrival left something to be desired. Not terrible, but certainly unenthusiastic. A smile would have gone a long way! The breakfast was good, but very unusual system. They didn’t put any food out where you could help yourself; you had to go to a window around the corner and ask for what you wanted but there were restrictions. We aren’t big eaters, so they didn’t matter, but it was weird. It seemed stingy.
