Arrived for one night to attend concert. Parking across the street for an addition charge. Additional charge for WiFi. Unreal given the astronomical cost of the room. Room was average at best. Toilet paper holder almost fell off the wall. Floor laminate in bathroom buckling up. 2 lamps not working. No complimentary breakfast or coffee in lobby. Overpass cross walk smelled damp and was being dried out with multiple fans. Only plus was the convenience to concert venue. Definitely fell short of expectations.

Could not park in front to check-in, area was full and spilling into the street. Could not find a place within 2 blocks to park. Out over $200 by the poor management. Will not book this again and will have my company pull them from future bookings.

Check in took forever but they were fully staffed at thebfront desk so I think they just got hit with a lot of people at once. The room was very dark...minimal lighting. Carpet was frayed and galling apart. Using the akywalk from the hotel to the convention center was great. Easy security and ticket scanning to get into the event. Valet was horrible. Took forever to get car checked in...was very backed up. Then when we requested the car for pick up, it was a headache. Waited 20 minutes only to find out the employee was asleep in his vehicle across the street. Dont recommend the valet. Pay to park yourself

The pool was under renovation (kids were looking forward to swimming), the room phone was unusable, floor ice machine broken. The hotel charged my credit card $75 for incidentals at check in and it won't be refunded for 5 days, the breakfast was $22 per person for what would be free at any other hotel, there was no complimentary coffee, only coffee you had to pay for. Parking was $28 a night and across a sky bridge. Same price as any other hotel with none of the amenities. Furthermore, everything extra was extra $$$

I had to use the elevator to get to get to the second floor to access my rooms elevator because the escalator was broken. The area at the top of the stairs was dark and seemed abandoned. As a man I was fine but I noticed the ladies waiting on the main elevators seemed nervous due to the dim lighting in the area. A little maintenance to the elevator from the ground to the second floor needs to occur also. Some drunk must have had a kicking fit inside and messed up some of the bottom granite edging. 1032 was my room and it was nice. The bathroom counter had been repaired and the dark caulk looked like brown mud smeared in the crack. Bed was nice and room smelled great.

Very challenging leaving parking, key card did not work, several times. Hotel charges us more for daily parking. Road traffic noise very challenging, hard to have good night sleep. Too expensive

The only reason I chose this Hotel was for the Peloton bike. They had 2 neither were operational for biking. I was able to logged in but when tried to do the biking training - one of the bikes didn’t show any of the metrics- non functional. The other bike the resistance knob didn’t work. I was not able to do my training. the bikes need service by a professional peloton tech.

Stayed here for convenience and walkable to the BJCC for a concert. Our room looked no where close to the pictures shown. We were also in the atrium rooms so I’m assuming the older side. Room was extremely dated. Empty water bottles on the floor and empty chip bags on the night stand. Furniture all seemed sticky. The air worked amazing, stayed on 65 the whole time. They have a book in the room for room service but when called to get breakfast was told they don’t offer room service. Did have a breakfast buffet downstairs but we decided to checkout early and go eat somewhere. All staff was very nice. Room was just overall dated and dirty.

The hotel was okay for cleanliness, it was not up to my standards. There bathroom fixtures were dusty and there were long hairs hanging from it. There was chipping inside of the bath tub and at first sight it apears to be dirt in thr bath tub. The hotel provided shampoo, lotion, and body wash containers were all empty and the lotion provided near the sink was also empty.

Staff was nice and friendly, room was nice, but the toilet seat was broken and tub was clogged up with hair. Valet service for parking was good the first night but the second night was chaos!! I assume because it was a concert and they were short staff. Overall I give it a 3 stars, not really worth the price.

There was leftover food in the fridge left by the previous visitors. There was a glue on finger nail on the floor by the bed. The room was hot and we had to request to lower the temperature. When we asked about extra sheets, we were told that we’d have to come get them. The employees were all nice and helpful

The only problem I had was the garbage and dirty sheets and towels were left in the hallway outside our door when we checked in and was still there the next morning when we checked out. I’m assuming they had cleaned the room prior to our arrival.

The hotel location is what we paid for and it was fine. The website gave the impression that you could only use valet parking, but when we got there (<10 after check in began) we were told that valet was full and we would have self park in a garage behind the hotel. Overall the room was clean, but there was hair on the shower walls which it’s disgusting.

I stayed in two different rooms for this stay because of how I booked the trip. The first room #1012 was old dark abe outdated. So much so that there weren’t even plugs or an alarm clock next to the bed. The second room was an executive suite but was more like what I would have expected for a regular room both in size and amenities. It was #1040 and it felt like I was in a totally different hotel. It was updated, plenty of outlets and felt clean and brighter.

Proximity to the BJCC is unbeatable, but no bathroom counter, lack of hot water in the shower and traffic noise make it an uncomfortable stay. There was a white noise machine in the room and even that didn't mask the traffic noise from 20/59.

Great location, easy walk to BBJJ and restaurants. Friendly staff. Clean areas. The room itself made it not comfortable. The AC would not get below 73° even if the thermostat was set to 68° (the lowest allowed setting). The room was hot & humid & laying on top of the covers while sweating was not conducive to sleep. Also, take your own pillows.

We absolutely loved our stay! The valet was awesome and front staff was so helpful! The room was clean and beds were so soft!! We really enjoyed the area too! A few restaurants were close by and we took the jam tram to a concert at the Coca Cola amphitheater, so convenient!!!

We had such a great stay at the Sheraton. After a very bad stay at the Westin a few years ago I was a little worried, but it was for nothing. The hotel is so nice, the staff is top notch. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The girl that was working valet on 6/24 around 2pm was so helpful helping us find a place to eat and just so friendly. I wish I had gotten her name. There were 2 gentleman standing outside as well that were so welcoming and friendly. The clerk at the front desk (Latorria maybe) was phenomenal. She was so kind, professional and informative. Our soon had been switched from a king to 2 doubles. I wasn’t going to mention it thinking it would probably be a lot of trouble to switch. She noticed it and switched it back for us. The room was nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks for such a great stay.

I booked this property because I was going to a concert at the BJCC and it was close to the venue. When I arrived to the hotel around 4 I was told that my room was not ready yet. There were about 50 to 75 other guests waiting to get in a room when I got there. Everyone was waiting in the lobby with all of their belongings. We were finally checked in almost four hours later. I was two hours late to the concert because the hotel didn’t have my room ready. When I complained and asked for compensation for the room not being ready I was told they will let housekeeping know they need to do better. I asked for a late check out I was told they were not doing late check outs. I contacted Expedia they contacted the property and the property said they are not giving any compensation for the inconvenience. I also valet parked and when I left it took an hour for me to get my car. I will never stay here again. They clearly overbooked and just said the hell with it. They had to start giving people rooms at the Westin which is a partner hotel because they did not have any available. This was a complete disaster.

Everything and everyone was so helpful! We really enjoyed our stay! From the valet ,desk rep ,and bartender! Especially ,Yolanda Clark! She's the sweetest Desk Representative that I've ever meet! From checking in to checking out. She was very informative and even gave us some great places to try out during our stay. Congrats to having a wonderful staff! We can't wait to come back

Horrible service, worst hotel experience in a long time. Put in a dirty room at first, wouldn’t bring items that were missing from the room, not an up to date upkept property by any means. The staff seemed to care nothing about making any of the many frustrations any better.

When I got there to check in there were no rooms available for hours. I had somewhere to be by 7 and did not get a room until 6:15 after I went back to the desk inquiring about what steps were going to be taken. It was over 20 people waiting for rooms. They comped my valet parking which was cool but I think I should’ve gotten more than $38. The manger was very nice though and the hotel is very clean. If it were not for that debacle I would’ve given it 5 stars.

Loved the location as it was directly across the street from the BJCC Legacy venue. It is close to the highway and you hear the noise, but our room did have a noise machine which helped drown out a good bit of the sound. I would stay here again.

This 5 Star hotel went to Zero stars and back to 5 Stars thanks to the nice lady at the Registration Center. NO HOT WATER! The hotel was full because of the Birmingham Bowl and the hot water supply was overloaded. She gave us 2 free vouchers for the breakfast buffet. So the shower was cold, but the breakfast was delicious! Life happens, we will be back.

We opted for the Sheraton because it was adjacent to the BJCC concert venue. Very convenient to get to. While the City Walk offered good choice, they were all extremely busy. Strange for a hotel this size to have such limited food and beverage facilities.
