Broken elevators for 3 days

Location was convenient for Chapel Hill visit. However, the price was extremely high for what it was. The elevator was broken and was promise to be fixed the next day and front tire through this day. It was not. We were not given any future discount or offer for this inconvenience while we were placed on the third floor for walking up and down daily

Liked the location and having a kitchenette. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The maintenance of the room was lacking. The toilet seat was loose, the water in the shower leaked and the garbage disposal did not work. The elevator was not working and I was on the third floor!! There also was a small lizard in my room on the third floorl The snack room had almost no drinks or snacks.

Upon entering our room, it was evident that the cleaning had been rushed and incomplete. The sheets had dried bloodstains, indicating that they were not changed but just made up. Additionally, there was dirt and dust on all surfaces, so I had to wipe them down to avoid getting our clothes dirty. The dresser drawer was broken, and the kitchen backsplash was dirty. The shower walls were also covered in dirt. There were very few kitchen supplies available, such as one spoon and one knife, and the inside of the cupboards was dirty as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The dishwasher not only had mouse droppings in it but was also broken and missing the top rack. In addition, none of the lights in the kitchen were working, including the one above the sink in the bathroom. When we asked for extra towels we were told that there were none. Due to the business of the week with it being the State Fair, we didn't have another option for a place to stay so we basically cleaned the room ourselves, purchased disposable kitchenware and made do with what we had. If someone was to ask me if I would recommend this place I would say No! I do want to say though, the staff that we did see and communicated with were very friendly. As for the parking lot, it had great lighting and we felt very safe in the parking lot. There were a lot of good restaurants in the area and

Irresponsible with keeping the rooms clean. I should not have to beg for them to clean my room at least once a week. Other than that, the stay is fine and the staff is wonderful. Also out of five washing machines and dryers only two of each work properly. That makes it hard for people to efficiently get their laundry done.

Clean facility and room, linens were pristine. The kitchen was adequately equipped. Very clean fridge without any weird smells. A/c worked perfectly. There was quite a bit of outside noise into the evening and late night. We were in the end unit closest to the very nice outdoor grill area so a lot of that noise was from people out there being loud. Shouting and music from cars. The windows weren’t covered enough so quite a lot of light came in the bedroom. Visibility from outside wasn’t an issue, just light around and under the drapes. Will definitely stay again.

the parking areas where clean, decebt and quiet. However, the room were outdated and in need of Upgrades and renovations. The sofa beds were worn and torn as well as chairs. There were no carpets throughout the room, and tile in bathroom floor were broken. Surfaces appeared dusty.

Things were broken in the room vents on the floor and towel holder in bathroom refrigerator door. Carpet on the stairs was dirty

Clean room fully equipped with dishes and dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, fridge, access to BBQ and free laundry.

The tubs in both rooms were dirty, there were dead bugs in one of the rooms, floors wasn’t swept and there were no phones in the room and linens were very limited.

Bathroom was disgusting, it wasn’t clean; maybe wiped down but not sanitized. The kitchen area was dirty. The room was brushed over but not a deep clean. The staff was friendly. The overall experience wasn’t the greatest. I was only there for one night

Was clean for the most part, except there was other peoples hair all in the bathroom, in the shower, in the sink, in the washer, and even on the towels.

The room had a bad odor. There was a used feminine douche under the bathroom sink, which is extremely unsanitary. A used towel hanging on the bathroom wall. The floor was dusty and had candy along the baseboard. Hair was visible on the nightstand. I came to Raleigh for a bridal shower. If dreamville didn’t happen to be the same weekend with all hotels booked, I would have checked out. It’s unfortunate because this hotel seems to be located in a quiet location and appeared to be descent from the outside. After sharing my experience with the front desk, he apologized and said if I didn’t use a Expedia he would give me something back. I guess it’s safe to say I won’t be using a 3rd party to book anymore hotels because this experience was unexceptable! I will be posting photos once I leave the my review.

No shampoo, soap or toilet paper in bathroom stains on walls sticky floors. Smelled terrible. Outdated furniture and appliances mold in bathroom walls and ceilings

Filthy everywhere and smelled like cat spray. Had to wear shoes in our room because the floor was so dirty and it turned the bottom of my white dress black

The room was clean and I was impressed with the residential size refrigerator. Staff was exemplary and I will utilize this property again!

Very obvious linens were not changed. Dirty footprints on walls.

Dirty. Room smelled like smoke. Toilet ran all night and the bathroom fixtures were rotten. Also mold around the shower. It was a short stay but never again.

Not as advertised. Pictures were from when they first opened. Not actually that nice. Suffices with some disinfectant spray. Not dirty superficially but feels dirty by how old everything seems. Even front desk warned it is not a nice hotel.

the beds were so comfortable wow!

The initial rooms which i stayed for 2 nights - toilet tap water dripping, aircond on and off sound was loud and worst of all the fridge was extremely noisy. Room was dated.

Was a great deal for the price. Had a two top burner stove, a full size fridge, and dish washer so made my life easier.

Tv in the bedroom was blue , so every channel we turned to was completely background and blue ppl.. no linens or covers for let out sofa bed.. smelled like smoke/cigarettes. Ac worked in living room but broke the bedroom so it was muggy/hot. Shower felt good but tub didnt drain water. Front desk was nice , room was clean but alot of things didnt work completely..

The suites are well equipped with everything you would need. The rooms / linens are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again

They did not have the room that was reserved. The front desk was very rude and inconsiderate in addressing the matter. She was argumentative and dismissive regarding the whole situation. I would stay anywhere else but there!!

Not so great location, lots of people standing around outside that looked questionable. Once I checked in, I was not comfortable leaving. Not a place that I would recommend for anyone.

Our stay was disappointing. After staying in a few Candlewood Suite’s before, this location was short on amenities that we expect, like a coffee maker in the room, a functioning alarm clock and enough utensils for dining for more than one guest. I hope this location gets some attention, the staff seems to be hospitable and professional considering.

I didn't like the fact that if I wanted a late checkout, I had to pay extra. I enjoyed my stay. I would have liked a continental breakfast though.
