Max Brown Hotel 7th District, part of Sircle Collection

The hotel is hip and all staff clearly enjoy their work. The Neubau area is quiet and in-touristy but with good restaurants but nothing to beat the Hotel restaurant itself, Seven North, I recall.

Overall the property was nice. The one thing that annoyed me was the restaurant / bar situation. The two are combined rather than being separate and are open to the public. This meant that they were often booked up and so we, as hotel guests, couldn't even make use of them.

quiet and clean and close to downtown or old town but 20 minute walk to there. parking and access by car easy. friendly staff.

Great stay here for our 3 Night Visit. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Some renovations going on during our stay, but it really didn't effect us. 7th District is a great spot to stay while in Vienna.

The Restaurant is probably the best part of the Hotel. Rooms are big , but don't feel cozy (floor , carpet , table, night stand..) Plus, the common toilets near the reception and the Atelier are poorly maintained :-( uugh

We found the Max Brown to be a great, budget-friendly option for staying slightly further out of town. The Neubau area has good options for cafes and restaurants, and the hotel itself is situated within walking distance of different tram lines into and out of town making it very easy to be in the centre within 20 minutes. We didn't try the restuarant but we went for a drink in the bar on one evening, it was very busy and the staff struggled to accomodate us even for one drink, which was slightly disappointing but hopefully a sign that it's a popular, well-liked place.

This hotel looks great at the lobby level and the front desk staff is wonderful. The first room we were put in had a bedside light ripped right off the frame and a broken record player. We asked to switch rooms and we're accommodated easily. The room we stayed in was definitely better but was visibly a little dirty with tufts of dust on the floors. Parking was a little iffy as well and at one point we were triple parked and would have never been able to get out of we wanted. They also make guests walk through a side corridor as to not disrupt the restaurant guests. Overall I'd stay somewhere else next time.

The only good things about this hotel were the breakfast and the location. The concept of the hotel is interesting, but the execution really falls short. A lot of things in the room worn out. The record player barely worked — I guess previous guests might have broken it. There was no coffee maker in the room, and one of the mugs was so dirty at the bottom that it couldn’t be cleaned at all. The bathroom wasn’t great either — there was mold, and the body lotion was so strange: it foamed up like soap, so I had no idea how to even use it. The soap itself seemed very harsh — it splashed on my clothes and actually bleached the color, leaving a spot. Parking deserves a separate mention. I specifically asked about it beforehand because we have a large car, and of course, no one warned us that the parking was a duplex system. It took us half an hour to park because it was so easy to hit something. Overall, for the price, you can definitely find a much better hotel in Vienna.

Had a great time, was a cool design-led hotel with an excellent bar and restaurant attached. Make sure you enjoy a nightcap at the bar

Loved this hotel. Spacious room, comfy bed, nice linen and quirky decor. Staff welcoming and helpful. Great location: 10 min walk to Museum Quarter, and easy access to great public transport system. We booked dinner at the Restaurant and the food was gorgeous. It’s understandably popular so make sure you book. Highly recommend

Das Hotel ist stylisch eingerichtet, aber für ein 4 Sterne Hotel etwas mehr Komfort erwartet. Zum Hinterhaus musste durch den Innenhof gegangen werden, da abends Restaurant extern betrieben wird. Zimmer large war schön groß, aber durch Schlauchform auch düster. Einrichtung sehr einfach gehalten. Staubflusen bei Ankunft unter Bett und unter Kofferablage sowie hinter Tür. Mitgenommene Handtücher wurden nicht ersetzt. Rezeption war immer besetzt und sehr freundlich, ebenso beim Frühstück, das eine große Auswahl bot. Mit mehrmals umsteigen kommt man mit den Öffis gut in den 1. Bezirk

It was my second time staying at Max Brown. I like the style of this hotel. However, the room was not as clean as I wish. It was dusty. Also we asked for towels and they didn’t bring them to us until the day after we asked again. Wifi connection was poor. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was AMAZING.

I like the location of the property. Some reception staff are really fantastic and helpful. The room that we got was very dark and one of the lights is not working. The aircon was very mild even though I put it on full blast. The floor was also a bit dusty.

Einen Stern gibt es für die zentrale Lage in Neubau und die gute Matratze. Ansonsten haben sich die Ärgernisse so gehäuft, dass wir von anfänglich geplanten 3 Sternen auf einen runter korrigiert haben. Eine Auswahl der Tiefpunkte des Aufenthalts: - unser erstes Zimmer unterm Dach war zwar an sich groß genug, die Badewanne ließ sich aber nicht füllen, weil nur tropfenweise Wasser aus dem Hahn kam. Beim Duschen setzte man dann allerdings das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Das Licht im Klo flackerte, ein Glasregal hing so schräg, dass es fast fiel. Alles war dreckig und runtergerockt, einzelne Lampen gingen erst gar nicht. - Zimmer 2 war letztlich auch nicht besser. Alles runtergerockt, die Heizung ließ sich nicht ausschalten, so dass wir dauerhaft das Fenster offen lassen mussten, um es zu ertragen. Auch hier konnte man nicht duschen, ohne alles unter Wasser zu setzen. Einen Abzug im Bad ohne Fenster gab es nicht. - das Zimmer war dreckig. Laut Hotel wird alle zwei Tage gereinigt, leider wurden wir direkt vergessen und mussten mehrfach nachfragen, bis geputzt wurde. - der Service war katastrophal. Wir mussten 8 Mal um frische Handtücher und Tassen bitten, bis endlich was passierte. Das erste Mal fragten wir abends, das achte Mal am Folgetag nachmittags. Niemand war in der Lage das Problem zu lösen. Auch die versäumte Rei

El Hotel tiene un estilo alternativo que cae en lo divertido; Sin embargo, en mi habitación encontré hormigas que salían de alguno de los muros. El restaurante es animado de noche. La ubicación es buena por la zona de tiendas y restaurantes aunque un poco alejado del centro de la ciudad.

Lovely hotel and great breakfast, in a nice area in Vienna, easily walk into city attractions. Some mould on bathroom wall needed attention/cleaning and record player in our room was broken which was a pity.

sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel Personal war durchweg freundlich Lage ist wirklich sehr gut, Tram/Bahn/Bus alles zu Fuß erreichbar, auch zu Fuß ist man schnell im Zentrum - Zimmer wurde während unseres Aufenthalts (3 Nächte) leider nicht gereinigt - Boden im Zimmer war etwas staubig/hätte sauberer sein können (auch Bettrahmen war staubig) - Klimaanlage hat im Zimmer nicht funktioniert, daher war etwas vor allem Nachts etwas stickig

Unfortunately the Wifi didn’t work at all in the room I had, 416. The staff said the technician was “working on it” however it was useless the entire stay. In the lobby and restaurant was fine. Just frustrating when you are trying to plan your day. The breakfast was average and both days the hot food was cold. Good variety though. The bed was comfortable and sleep was easy so that was good. Bathroom was outdated, sink didn’t work and the shower is over a bath so good to know if you’re older!! Very Art Deco, which I knew. Staff were very friendly but overall, it was not the hotel for me. Good location and good transport to the Christmas markets, so that was the main reason we went there.

My room is on the G/F floor and there is a narrow walkway outside the window. The curtain of the bathroom is not big enough to cover the window, so people can see the inside of the bathroom (and all activities) especially when it's lit up at night. The curtain in the room area is not long enough as well, it ends right on the level of the bed. One could hardly feel safe and relaxed in this case.

It was a good stay. Quiet area, comfortable bed, cool design. Taking a star off for the absence of a mini fridge and a coffee maker. No complimentary coffee in the lobby either. If coffee is not a must for you- book it!

The room itself was ok, but there was so much noise pretty much throughout the night — people talking loudly and hanging out in the courtyard area, doors slamming, a domestic dispute one night). The hallway had an unpleasant odor, we didn’t love the area, and housekeeping didn’t come until close to 5pm

Charming hotel with nice touches like a record player in the room. Staff was lovely, the room was nice, big and clean. It was very quiet and the beds were super comfortable. Would recommend.

This is a great hotel in a great location in Vienna, I would definitely recommend it overall. Some stand out positives: - Great service at check in, I especially appreciated that the staff member checking me in didn't say my room number out loud when I was travelling alone. - Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. - I had breakfast in the hotel two mornings and both mornings it was delicious, definitely worth considering. - The hotel is in a great location, it's on a quiet street so no excessive passing noise and you could walk into Inner Stadt or use multiple methods of public transport to get there. Some minor things that prevented me giving 5 stars: - One of the plug points in the room wasn't working - TV in the room only had three working channels, all in German which I understand it is a German speaking country. However I also tried to mirror the tv to my phone which wouldn't work and the TV had no other ability to connect to any other apps like netflix, disney using my own sign in. This was pretty disappointing for such a modern hotel. - On the day the room was cleaned the cups and glasses in the room weren't changed, when you have no real ability to properly wash cups in a room I think they should be changed after 2 days.

Es gibt einen Plattenspieler und einen Basketballkorb mit Plüschball sowie begehbaren Kleiderschrank - Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und Klasse - bequeme Betten - gutes Restaurant Contra: - Heizung über Belüftungssystem ist nachts laut. - Türen lassen sich nur zuknallen und nicht leise zuschließen. - an einen Tag kam kein Roomservice obwohl nicht aktiv abbestellt - vor Check Out kam ungefragt Personal ins Zimmer In der Zusammenfassung eher gemischte Gefühle besonders für einen längeren Aufenthalt

Great location and the hotel design was very quirky and cool. I found it a bit strange that the bed was in the middle of the room - stopped it feeling cosy somehow but I guess personal preference! Also would have been nice to have coffee in the room.

Very comfortable, clean, slightly quirky rooms. Excellent staff service. The area is great with eclectic shops and cafes. A nice walk into central Vienna. I can highly recommend the Max Brown Hotel.

We were very early and was not hoping to get into our room being the holiday season but check-in in was smooth and early and seamless. We've been here before so we know that do a fantastic job with everything and they didn't fail to impress this time as well :) Happy customers here !

This hotel and it's location are great. My gripe about the cleanliness of the room I hope is noted as it's the only let down. The staff here were fabulous and kind. The location was just far enough away from maddening crowds but easy enough to get to if you wanted to.

My stay was very pleasant, the staff was so nice. Breakfast was great! The hotel is at an artsy district in vienna and very well connected. It was an 8 minute or so walk to public transport. I enjoyed my stay and would def. Prefer this hotel again

Tolles Frühstück, aber leider keinerlei Abwechslung für Leute, die länger dort bleiben. Zimmer sind okay, aber nach den Bildern hatte ich mehr erwartet. Insgesamt aber gute Lage und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Wonderful hotel. The restaurant at the hotel Seven North is amazing. The only this that didn’t work well was the Wi-Fi. It disconnected all the time. Excellent location, lots of small restaurants around and walking distance from the Center.

Hotel was like stepping into a Wes Anderson movie! I love it - my wife less so. It’s an acquired taste. Hotel is comfortable, clean and welcoming, although some aspects of the decor could do with some updating. Staff were amazing as was the breakfast and restaurant.

Hotel location is in a nice area of Vienna. Quiet but with some lovely coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant in the hotel itself had an interesting dinner menu and the food is very tasty - it’s a popular restaurant so would recommend booking ahead of time. Hotel room was of a decent size and relatively clean. Hotel reception staff were friendly. My one complaint is that the bath in my room did not drain properly and there was no bath mat so it was very slippery after the first use - would recommend requesting room with a walk-in shower if you are elderly or if your mobility is not very good.
