Hotel muy correcto, que a pesar de no estar en el centro tiene muy buena combinación para llegar. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas aunque algo ruidosas por el paso del tren. Para el check-in tuvimos que hacer una cola muy larga y para el check-out también... Además en este caso sólo había una persona atendiendo. Pensamos que por el precio que se paga por noche, para compensar el ruido la lejanía del centro debería incluirse un pequeño desayuno de café y croissant. Los precios de supermercado dentro del hotel y en el bar son caros. A pesar de todo ello estuvimos muy a gusto y lo re comendaríamos porque calidad -precio está bien, teniendo en cuenta el resto.

The Hotel in itself, ignoring the rather idiosyncratic exterior is very good. Nice bar and good public areas. The room we stayed in, Junior suite, was nicely appointed and very well laid out. The only down points were the check-in process. We arrived at 12:30 and thought that we might not be able to check in straight away. We told to come back around 14:30. The guy on the reception was nice and helpful. We wanted to eat but the hotel restaurant wasn't open until 14:00. Not great for a 4 star. So we left and not being able to find anything in the area went into the centre. We returned at 14:40. The next guy who dealt with us seemed clueless. Asked for all the information we had already given and without an apology told us the room was not ready due to late check-outs. Check out time is 12. I took issue with this at which point his colleague. Blond and glasses early 60's to also become involve and regurgitating the ' its in the T&C's ` in quite an aggressive manner. 5 mins later we were told the room was now ready. The rest of the stay was great but a bad checking in process is never good and looking at previous reviews I think they might be understaffed however becoming annoyed and wanting to argue with guests is never a good look. Sort the staffing out and the hotel is a winner

Sehr schönes Hotel U4 in 5min zu Fuß erreichbar. Bei Buchung nachfragen ob man ein Zimmer zum Innenhof haben kann unseres war an der Seite von der UBahn und daher sehr laut allerdings konnte ich problemlos beide Zimmer tauschen :) Das Frühstück war seehr lecker und es gab auch sehr viel Auswahl :) Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder :) Leider finde ich das parken für 28€ pro Nacht etwas teuer

It’s a really nice hotel. Great view from where I was and very clean. The only downside was that we expected a pool and there isn’t and their sauna is not that good.

We decided to stay at this hotel as it was walking distance to the Schonbrunn Palace however we were unable to get in to see the palace in it's entirety as we did not book in advance and the crowds were intense. The hotel was across from the underground train station so easy access to Vienna (about 15 minutes). That being said, the area around the hotel was dirty and didn't feel particularly safe although it probably was. It certainly didn't feel like we were in Vienna but rather a run down part of any city. The hotel itself had good amenities. Our room was well equipped with a fridge, kettle, instant coffee, tea, iron, ironing board and was suitably large with comfy beds that had no perfumey smell. That being said the room was pretty dirty. The base of the toilet had yellow stains on it and the bathroom walls had stains of a different nature! The cabinets and fridge had drips of dried liquid and finger prints as did the light switches. There was a balloon under my bed and bits of debris. Thank goodness for Lysol wipes. We couldn't have stayed here if I was unable to clean up. We definitely wouldn't stay again. We would pay more to stay closer to Vienna to have a more Vienese experience and a cleaner hotel. Not satisfactory.

I stayed in this hotel many times and this time was very disappointed, starting with very bad service at reception desk to room not being cleaned for two days and missing shower gel. I hope this is one time off and next time I'm there it will be better.

3 key cards needed to find a room with short dark hairs in the bed. We then were given a new room which was nice enough but not impressive or perfect. Oddly expensive breakfast buffet and restaurant, luckily there's a lovely pub across the street and a grocery store. It's a North American 3 star hotel, not a 4.

Our stay was very annoying because the room was never cleaned or completed properly. We asked from the first day to simply have the room vacuumed every day for allergy reasons since it had not been done and in fact it was full of dust (even though for a 4 star it should be a daily standard) but only on the fourth day they did it .... more or less... When we went to complain at reception we were told that they would report it to housekeeping but they couldn't do anything else because it was an external company to the hotel. Unacceptable and unprofessional response for a 4-star hotel, also because it is not the customer's problem if it is an external company. Furthermore, not only they did not vacuum but twice they did not even leave clean towels or replace the empty showergel bottles. Unacceptable!! I must say however that the reception manager offered us breakfast as an apology even if we preferred the clean and perfect room we appreciated it. However, the problem was not solved because in 6 nights only 1 day they vacuumed.

BEDBUGS! I woke up covered in angry, red welts and spend the rest of my trip itching miserably. The hotel is beautiful, modern, well equipped and splendid. But bedbugs in a five-star hotel? No! The only compensation the hotel offered for my misery was to comp my very small bar bill and half (!) my laundry bill. That was downright insulting. A beautiful hotel, but traveller beware!

Hotel does not clean our room everyday. The day they choose to clean it (at their own discretion), it is always half done. Our bathroom supplies are never replenished. When complaining to the front desk, they always give you the same standard answer, “ The housekeeper has gone home, I cannot do anything.” *****Thank you Marriott, you have just successfully turned away a long time royal customer.*******

The overall service of the hotel is good except the soundproofing of the room needs improvement. Noises from trains and traffic passing by the hotel were heard inside the room. Furthermore, we were assigned a connected room so noises generated from the adjacent room could sometimes be disturbing.

After having to complain many times, I was finally able to move from an extremely noisy room. The main window had been fixed shut, but still let in all the traffic noise from outside. Several of my colleagues also lost sleep for the same reason. I moved to a room where the windows closed properly, but with the aircon set to minimum, the room was still too warm… In February! After having may issues connecting to the internet (as with many other guests), an internet fee was added to my bill. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location right next to a subway stop. Front desk staff is perfect. Big room with excellent bedding, completely soundproof and very nice bathroom with a spacious shower. The breakfast is just awesome. Will certainly book again

The design of the hotel is nice and the staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive and professional. The breakfast, however, was way overpriced for the quality (it was basic—barely palatable machine coffee, industrial food of just decent quality, nothing fresh or local) and the same must be said about the comfort of the rooms, specifically the bedding. Regarding convenience, the hotel is located in a decent part of the city with easy metro and bus access. In total, it’s a decent hotel, but one expects something more than just basic comfort for this kind of price, especially from an upper-scale chain that bills itself as a place to go to discover hidden, local gems. We booked five rooms. There were organizational problems with two of them. Both were immediately solved by the attentive staff, so it’s not an issue with them . You won’t be mad about the hotel, but it’s not amazing. Maybe this is just the standard in Vienna.

The Hotel in itself, ignoring the rather idiosyncratic exterior is very good. Nice bar and good public areas. The room we stayed in, Junior suite, was nicely appointed and very well laid out. The only down points were the check-in process. We arrived at 12:30 and thought that we might not be able to check in straight away. We told to come back around 14:30. The guy on the reception was nice and helpful. We wanted to eat but the hotel restaurant wasn't open until 14:00. Not great for a 4 star. So we left and not being able to find anything in the area went into the centre. We returned at 14:40. The next guy who dealt with us seemed clueless. Asked for all the information we had already given and without an apology told us the room was not ready due to late check-outs. Check out time is 12. I took issue with this at which point his colleague. Blond and glasses early 60's to also become involve and regurgitating the ' its in the T&C's ` in quite an aggressive manner. 5 mins later we were told the room was now ready. The rest of the stay was great but a bad checking in process is never good and looking at previous reviews I think they might be understaffed however becoming annoyed and wanting to argue with guests is never a good look. Sort the staffing out and the hotel is a winner

Great experience. We arrived early, and the person at the desk (Ahmed) went out his way to get us a room nonetheless. The whole visit went just about as smoothly as it could. Had breakfast once at the hotel. Breakfast was good, no complaints there either. Location is great, U4 station is literally at the doorstep. There is also a store right next door. Plenty of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner nearby. Would I recommend staying here? Absolutely, without a doubt. You'll not go wrong booking here.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und der Mann an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer der Straße bzw. U-Bahn zugewandt - Schlaf bei offenem Fenster unmöglich. Das Klopfen des Housekeeping um 8.15 Uhr war wirklich unnötig. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, da könnte die Kommunikation zwischen Rezeption und Housekeeping schon besser laufen. Die Rezeption würde ja wissen, wenn ein Zimmer schon ausgecheckt wurde und somit für die Reinigung bereit wäre. Frühstück konnte separat gebucht werden, das Angebot war vollkommen ok und alles hat super geschmeckt und frisch gewirkt.

The hotel was nice but the staff was terrible. Reception was staffed with trainees and they didn’t get any help from the rest of their teammates. Staff at the restaurant was terrible also.

Unfortunately Marriott forgot the Renaissance was a high end brand, actually switched from Hilton because of our previous experience, unfortunately the service wasn't great. Tne checkin was bad, the housekeeping showed up at 730 pm and offered towels, woke us up the next day early, and bar staff was scattered. Needs an intervention! Happy we havent booked any more Marriott property this trip.

The design of the hotel is nice and the staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive and professional. The breakfast, however, was way overpriced for the quality (it was basic—barely palatable machine coffee, industrial food of just decent quality, nothing fresh or local) and the same must be said about the comfort of the rooms, specifically the bedding. Regarding convenience, the hotel is located in a decent part of the city with easy metro and bus access. In total, it’s a decent hotel, but one expects something more than just basic comfort for this kind of price, especially from an upper-scale chain that bills itself as a place to go to discover hidden, local gems. We booked five rooms. There were organizational problems with two of them. Both were immediately solved by the attentive staff, so it’s not an issue with them . You won’t be mad about the hotel, but it’s not amazing. Maybe this is just the standard in Vienna.

We decided to stay at this hotel as it was walking distance to the Schonbrunn Palace however we were unable to get in to see the palace in it's entirety as we did not book in advance and the crowds were intense. The hotel was across from the underground train station so easy access to Vienna (about 15 minutes). That being said, the area around the hotel was dirty and didn't feel particularly safe although it probably was. It certainly didn't feel like we were in Vienna but rather a run down part of any city. The hotel itself had good amenities. Our room was well equipped with a fridge, kettle, instant coffee, tea, iron, ironing board and was suitably large with comfy beds that had no perfumey smell. That being said the room was pretty dirty. The base of the toilet had yellow stains on it and the bathroom walls had stains of a different nature! The cabinets and fridge had drips of dried liquid and finger prints as did the light switches. There was a balloon under my bed and bits of debris. Thank goodness for Lysol wipes. We couldn't have stayed here if I was unable to clean up. We definitely wouldn't stay again. We would pay more to stay closer to Vienna to have a more Vienese experience and a cleaner hotel. Not satisfactory.

Hadde rom med 2 enkelsenger. Sengene var veldig gode. Litt mye bråk fra ventilasjonsanlegget. Frokostsalen virker litt liten. Vi måtte regelmessig vente eller flytte bord for å finne plass for oss fire. Utvalget frokost var bra. Omeletten var veldig bra. Ellers god beliggenhet i forhold til U banen. Lettvint å komme seg til Wien sentrum. Alt i alt en hyggelig opplevelse

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön und top gepflegt. Etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum. Aber gut wenn man in Schönbrunn zu tun hat. Personal an unserem Wochenende leider eine Katastrophe. Beim Check in und Checkout jeweils nur eine Person zu Stoßzeiten. Beim Frühstücken ebenfalls komplett überfordert wenn man endlich einen Tisch erwischt. Ist wohl nicht dafür ausgelegt, dass viele Betten belegt sind. Der Höhepunkt war aber, dass am Sonntag morgen bereits vor 9 Uhr lautstark die Zimmer gemacht werden. Um 9 Uhr wurde dann sogar bei uns geklopft und die Tür geöffnet ... Gut, wir hatten das Schild vergessen und wollten um halb Zehn aufstehe, aber wer rechnet am Sonntag um 9 Uhr mit dem Zimmerservice. Und das am Abreisetag 🙈
