Novotel Suites Wien City Donau

Very nice stay, nice room, comfy bed. Suggest more (than 3?!!) channels in English and at least one sports channel. A small gym area would also be very good. Otherwise, very happy!!

The one star is taken off because one of the elevators was not working during our stay. On one day during our stay, both elevators were out of the order. The subway station is just 2-min away and the breakfast is really good. We have 1.5 bathrooms in our family suit.

Staff were lovely. Location is beside a U-bahn line which was excellent. I did not use the bar or have breakfast but those are both basically an extension of the reception area and not very exciting or appealing. Rooms were big. Bathroom was clean. Toilet room was seperate and tiny. Not much ventilation. Small tea/coffee making surface. Not much noise from the street in the evening so a big plus. I probably would not stay here again but great for a few days for xmas market visit. Huge eurospar a 2 min away and another Billa supermarket about 1 min away.

Die Aufzüge waren ein Problem. An einen Tag musste ich in den 9. Stock laufen da beide Aufzüge ausgefallen sind! Meiner Gesundheit hat es auf jeden Fall nicht geschadet :).

Hotel liegt perfekt und in der nähe der Metro. Seht sauber und mir Tiefgarage. Soweit alles gut. Leider gibt es ein sehr großen negativen Punkt..... den Frühstücksraum ist nicht grösser als ein Schuhkarton und für die Menge von Zimmern viel zu klein. Dadurch ist es unerträglich laut und es wird an alle Ecke gedrängelt und an etwas zu kommen. Hat sich während dem ganzen Aufenthalt angefühlt wie Frühstück in der U Bahn bei Stoßzeit.lieber raus gehen und auf der andere Seite beim Bäcker frühstücken !!!!

Hotel proximo de Estaçao de metro e supermercados... Muito boa a localização. Quartos confortaveis e staffs atenciosos Só um ponto a desejar... Chegamos as 20hs e o hotel nao dispunha de restaurante e a maior parte dos supermercados estavam fechados estava muito frio e nao conseguimos sair. Seria importante diversificar o menu de forma atender os hospedes que chegam tarde da noite... Mas isso foi um detalhe e nao tira o brilho do hotel.

everything was great lication is not in the center but the underground is 2 minutes,walk and it took 4 station to get to the center. the price is less than half comparing to hotels in the center rooms are great big , clean and very comfortable less goid breakfast price is too high ( 22 per person) we skip it only one elevator worked for 4 days

The positive, as usual with Novotel, clean modern room with big bathroom and toilets separate. There is the coffee machine and kettle. The room was big. Negative for me was the temperature in the room and in the whole hotel. Too hot. It was uncomfortable. We had to open the window in December. This is not responsible in times when we are asked to save energy. Then what annoyed me was all the expensive extras to add. 35€ for dog, 25€ for parking, 24€ per person for breakfast. That adds easily 70% to the basic price of the room.

Estancia muy agradable. Camas cómodas, incluso las de las niñas y buena limpieza. La ubicación era estupenda, a pocos pasos de una estación de metro, que en dos paradas te deja en el centro. Parking un poco caro.

Colazione discreta, la camera purtroppo aveva un pessimo odore (probabilmente ospiti prima di noi avevano cucinato del pesce rovesciando qualcosa sulla moquette). Ho mandato una mail per avere informazioni circa un oggetto dimenticato in camera dopo il check-out senza mai ricevere risposta, e questo è davvero spiacevole.

The toilet had a smell and the second night, a man above me was probably smoking. The rest was fine!

Bit outdated, but that was a ninor problem compared to cleanliness. My collague actually changed hotel, because it was so dirty in his room even after he changed once. My problem was the wc, it smelled awful there and it wasn’t the drain. Stingy pee stinking like in a bar after 3am wihout any cleaning. I told about this to reception, but nothing was done to it.

Es war sehr ruhig und alles sauber. Rezeption war 24 h erreichbar und immer jemand vor Ort, wenn man Fragen hatte. Super Anbindung zur U-Bahn.

We were checked in to a room with urine in the toilet bowl and spitting onto the sink which we took photo to show the receptionist guy. This room hairdryer and beds are full of dust, everywhere is not clean. He then changed another room which is better but very dusty, we need to wipe the whole room in order to stay in. We were not feeling safe staying here due to the first incident.

Hotellet var ok, men rengøringen var skuffende da vi havde 2 dage ud af 5 hvor værelset ikke blev gjort rent.

Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Exceptionaly clean room. Compared to other European hotels, this room is very huge. Toilet and shower are separated, which is very convenient especially in the morning. Close to subway and train station.

Location is really good as it is 3mins from the metro and there are some food options around like Mochi Ramen Bar. It is 10mins away from the center by train or 40mins walk. Room was really clean. However was quite warm so we had to open the windows. Bed was not that great and the pillows were so bad. They need to change them to rate themselves 4 star.

The room was clean and spacious, reception staff were friendly and very helpful (sorted out a heating issue). Wi-Fi was sufficient for my streaming needs, which was good given the paucity of English language satellite channels on the TV.

Hotel itself good - rooms huge although not a fan of the caravan style bathrooms! Area not the best but Ubahn 2 minutes away and in central Vienna in 5 mins.

Conveniently located near the metro station. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a lot of variety. The bathroom had an odd layout - the toilet was in its own separate room away from the shower and bath. It reminded us of our travel trailer back home. Overall, fairly clean and had enough room for our family of four to move around comfortably.

Very comfortable and conveniently located. I had a small problem with the room at the beginning of stay and the staff were extremely polite and fast-moving to sort it out. I highly recommend Novotel Suites Wien City.

Booked two rooms. One for a business foto shooter who next day told me that his drinks were half empty in the fridge/ the complimentary drinks. The orange juice. I told the lady at the counter that we would like to talk to a manaer. No manager on spot for the weekend!? Another man was yelling the same thing “no manager here”!!? It was 4 Pm and his room was not ready. Oh well.. the cleaning crew did not do a thorough check. Also at least a sparkling water as not everyone drinks the sweet orange juice which were TWO bottles same type. Take advise and place at least a water instead of two so ppl can have a choice. It was a business suite and the half empty bottle was not acceptable. Reception gave us a complimentary coupon for a drink. What a favor ;( .

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very comfortable stay, thank you.

Overall, the hotel is well-maintained and clean. It is only a 4 minute walk from the U station, which is very convenient and surrounded by what it looks to be corporate buildings. If you are looking for easy access to restaurants and cafes, the area may not be ideal. The room was very spacious with upgraded appliances. They carried the brand called Rituals shampoo, body wash, and handwash, which I enjoyed using. The staff was also amazing. I left my phone in one of the tour guide's van and felt very powerless. The person who seemed to be in charge for that evening stayed behind and helped me track the tour guide and contact them. They were very empathetic, understanding, and helpful- they went above and beyond to stay with me and assure me things would be fine.

Personal beim einchecken am Empfang äußerst unaufmerksam. Normalerweise wird man freundlich begrüßt. Aber hier hat sich das Personal hinter den Bildschirmen versteckt. Das war der schlechteste Check in den ich weltweit erlebt habe. Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Bei der Anreise war das Telefon defekt, Safe zu. In der Badewanne war das Wasser nur lauwarm. Am ersten morgen wurden wir vom lauten Housekeeping Personal auf dem Flur geweckt. Danach haben wir eine Liste mit allen punkten am Empfang abgegeben. Die Punkte wurden soweit erledigt. Am 2 morgen war es auch ruhig auf dem Flur. Am letzten morgen war es noch lauter auf dem Flur wie am ersten morgen. Diesmal haben wir direkt das personal angemacht und um ruhe gebeten. Wir hatten bitte nicht stören an der Tür und wir checken aus auch. Als wir noch im Zimmer vor Check out Zeit waren wurde ohne anklopfen und trotz bitte nicht stören die Tür geöffnet und sofort wieder geschlossen. Beim Check out haben wir das auch gesagt. Mehr als eine Entschuldigung kam nicht. Beim Koffer abgeben gab es keim Ticket, sondern es wurde lediglich mit einem Postit mein Name drauf geschrieben. Das Gepäck wird offen hinter dem Empfang gelagert. Nicht verschlossen. Das sieht ehrlich gesagt nicht sehr vertrauenswürdig aus. Angeblich waren die Gepäckanhänger leer. Alles im allem sehr durchwachsener Aufenthalt, den ich von einem Novotel Suites eigentlich nicht gewöhnt bin, da ich selbst aus der Hotellerie komme.

The room was fine, no issues there. However Accor Hotels want you to be green and yet every day the cleaners wanted to come in when we specifically put out the door tag that says be good to the environment, don't clean your room. Breakfast was absolutely extortionate, there was no way we were going to spend 24€ per person per morning! The online checking in system failed, so after a long day I had to check in again! The reception staff were typically talking among themselves or on mobile phones, then were very vague about any questions we had regarding directions, shopping or transport. As mentioned the room itself was great, nothing else was.

Upon check-in, our experience was marred by a series of disappointments. Firstly, the mineral water provided in our room was visibly opened and appeared to be used, which is not in line with the hygiene standards expected from Novotel. Moreover, the absence of a room key upon check-in created considerable inconvenience, especially when unloading luggage from our car. The need for staff assistance each time disrupted our ability to access our accommodations efficiently, reflecting poorly on the professionalism of your customer service. In addition, we were asked to pay upfront for parking costs, even though our stay did not span the entire reservation period. This policy lacks flexibility and raises concerns about fairness, especially considering the potential for an early departure. Furthermore, despite paying for an upgrade to a family suite which can accommodate a third bed in our room, the additional bed lacked the usual amenities displayed on the master bed. Finding only spare towels under the sink was disappointing, particularly given the extra fee paid for the upgrade. Proper preparation of all beds should be a standard expectation. Upon checkout I only realized that they didn't assign a family suite to us but just an ordinary junior suite and simply turn the sofa bed into a 3rd bed. The mini fridge in the room wasn't working at all as it is not cold at all. Staff at reception are unfriendly as they don't even say morning to guests.

The staff made our experience spectacular! Every individual staff member was consistently polite, accommodating, and professional. We would love to return to this hotel when we return.

Hotel Novotel Suites Wien City Donau was a good jumping-off point for my wife’s and my Vienna stay. We especially appreciated its proximity to transit and to the Danube’s running paths.

Two supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Metro station also very close.

Hotel ottimo in una zona tranquilla con la comodità di avere la fermata della metro praticamente davanti( 1 minuto a piedi) Camera spaziosa, adatta a famiglie, funzionale per le esigenze dei bambini più piccoli. Colazione dolce e salata abbondante e di buona qualità.

Hotel molto comodo e funzionale, fermata metro a 200 metri,con cui si possono raggiungere velocemente tutte le destinazioni più conosciute. Supermercati e anche locali dove pranzare e cenare nelle vicinanze...

Struttura moderna e pulita, posizione tranquilla e comoda per raggiungere facilmente i principali punti di interesse.

Hotel novo, quarto confortável e bem equipado, silencioso. Tem uma estação de metrô a poucos metros que, em duas estações, chega ao centro histórico onde estão diversos pontos de interesse turístico. O café da manhã é excepcional, com variedade de pães, frios e frutas. Achei uma excelente opção para famílias.

Quarto espaçoso e silencioso. O hotel não fica no centro da cidade, mas há metrô a poucos metros, tornando a mobilidade ótima. Café da manhã um pouco conturbado pela grande quantidade de hóspedes em relação a poucas mesas na área do café.

The buffet breakfast is one of the best I had in Europe. The room was clean, comfortable and complete- even has an ironing board and flat iron. Although there’s absolutely no chance in hell they can give you an “early check-in”. As we arrived at the hotel at 11:30am and waited until 3pm to actually check-in. Maybe understandable as it’s their policy but some hotels provide “flexibility “ and Novotel, according to the receptionist “absolutely can’t and absolutely no chance for early check-in”. But the actual property/room was great and the buffet breakfast excellent and worth the price.
