AZIMUT Hotel Vienna

Disappointed to learn on check in that there is no breakfast due to bar renovations. Not advised about this on booking. Free use of hot drinks machine offered in lieu not sufficient. Bedroom seemed clean and nice enough. Pillows were poor and well past best. Had to request additional from reception which they were happy to assist with Duvet didn’t seem large enough for size of the double bed. Bathroom was very dated. Shower head bracket broke so wouldn’t stay in position. Shower tray, tiles and enclosure not fully clean

Not a bad hotel. Friendly staff, especially when it came round to breakfast. We had paid for breakfast for every day that we were there but found out that the restaurant was closed for refurb. This was not shown when we booked. Apparently, it had been known for a while but Hotels.com were still advertising it. The staff refunded straight away without being asked, which they didn't have to do but they said that I would have to wait a while if we requested the refund from Hotels.com. This meant that we did not have the sort of breakfast that we were hoping for whilst we were there. Communication appears to have been a big issue here. There was a coffee point on each floor of the hotel but no kettle. Fortunately, we took out own so there was no issue.

Just to reaffirm my previous recommendation as we opted to return to acom hotel for the last days of our stay in Vienna. Staff and facilities remained at a high standard and did not disappoint. We couldn’t have had better accommodations.

this hotel is ideal for train station and airport staff are very helpful and breakfast is very good
