The hotel was perfect for visiting the old centre with lots to see within walking distance. The only downside was the lack of a restaurant as the chef was ill. We therefore had to spend time walking around to find somewhere to eat on our first night, when we really wanted to rest after the journey.

Unterkunft super gelegen. Zimmer, Bett, Morgenessen sehr gut. Leider viel Personal welches hauptsächlich englisch spricht (kein oder beschränkt deutsch). Der Besuch in der Bar nicht zufriedenstellend da kein Barkeeper anwesend und das anwesende Personal die Wünsche/Bestellung nur teilweise erfüllen konnte. Trotzdem positive Erfahrung würden wieder buchen.

The hotel is in a good location but the room was more like a best western and had an enormous amount of black mold in the bathroom, chipped furnishings, and the appearance was mid to poor. The bed was comfortable. We never took breakfast because of the staff up front. Staff is all male, disinterested in performing customer service. I felt an underlying attitude. I wish we chose a hotel with Austrian culture. This seemed to ooze a very different culture that was cold and uncomfortable and unwelcoming... There is no official reception desk with smiling faces to help or guide you. There are usually two men sitting in separate office desks on the phone. As if they are conducting business. When we checked in no map was provided, no one offered to carry our luggage it was just about payment. One day I hurt myself badly and went to the bar for ice. No bartender in sight. I went to one of the men and told him I hurt myself and needed ice. He said to go to the bar and wait for a bartender. That never happened. No bartender ever showed up. He never followed up with me or got me ice himself. I never got ice and I never saw a bartender once working the bar. So if you hurt yourself you are on your own.

Sehr freundlicher Service an der Rezeption, überaus guter Service des Reinigungspersonals im Zimmer ( jeden Tag frische Handtücher, Duschzubehör etc. ) - einfach klasse ! Ansonsten hatten wir nur 3 x Drinks an der Ersatz-Bar, die richtige Bar ist z.Zt. noch nicht wieder in Betrieb wegen Corona .

The hotel is in the center of the inner circle, so it was convenient. The staff was nice, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel was worn and the hallways smelled. The lounge chair in my room was dirty and stained and I asked for a sheet to cover it. For what you pay you would expect better.

When we booked we hadn’t realised what a fantastic location this hotel is, truely central with flat walking within city centre for all key amenities. Glad we didn’t book breakfast, high price with so many great options around, get out and enjoy Vienna lifestyle. Only complaint raised and not addressed was excessive heat in room, no individual control confirmed by reception so we left window open. Doesn’t fit their efforts to promote green credentials and should be addressed. That said overall we would recommend and stay again.

Everything was excellent at this hotel expect the check in experience was not the best. Had to wait about 20 minutes to check in as there was only one member of staff on duty. She did state that the hotel was experts shortage of staff. This was the only negative experience during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the staff on duty on Sunday 9th February was excellent.

Check in was ok. Only one person working and he’s not happy; didn’t bother to ask for room upgrade nor the free tour promotion as stated in Expedia . Unfriendly service. Hotel location was great- across from the “Central Cafe”; a lot of eatery and landmarks near by. Room was spacious, clean but old. Check out the same, long line yet; only one working; almost missed my taxi ride.

Noe stressende opplevelse ved ankomst da den forhåndsbestilte transporten via hotellet ikke stilte opp på flyplassen som avtalt. Vi tok en "normal" taxi som erstatning. Ved innsjekk hotell var det kø i "resepsjonen", en mann satt tilgjengelig ved et lite bord i hjørnet i foajeen. En litt underlig for resepsjon... Vi måtte vente en god stund før det ble vår tur, og følte at vi måtte skynde oss i innsjekkingsprosessen da folk ventet på sin tur. Rommet var heldigvis tilgjengelig allerede (flere timer før kl. 15.00)! Rommet var OK, men hele hotellet virker noe "brunt" og slitent i våre øyne. Teppebelagt gulv er ikke akseptabelt, gir mye støv. Fantastisk sentralt beliggende! Få meter til Hofburg, U-bahn ligger rett rundt hjørnet, kort vei til restauranter og shopping gater. Grunnen til vårt valg av dette hotellet var rett og slett beliggenheten!

Efter ankomst/checkin, blev vi på ingen måde præsenteret for mulighed for Spa eller oplyst om restaurant eller bar menu. På værelset var der heller ikke mulighed for at undersøge restaurant eller bar kort. Beliggenhed er i top og ligeledes sengen som er dejlig hård. Glasset i døren til badeværelse var dog ved at falde ud. Morgenmaden var dog det mest skuffende jeg har prøvet. Æg var brændt på, både spejlæg og scrambled æg. Bakedbeans var en suppe. Ingen value for money. Det hele var meget rodet stillet op uden tydelig mærkat.
