Great location in easy walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Good access to Metro and bus routes. Staff very helpful. Only negative is the lift which as others have mentioned is about the size of a coffin! Didn’t really impact us as we were on second floor and when we checked in our luggage was delivered to our room. Overall a really good experience.

We would recommend. Very convenient to transportation and sights. Walkable. Excellent breakfast. Bed comfortable. Superior room was small with a nice opening door/window. Tea, coffee, wine, snacks available in the lobby. Wine and snacks in pm.

Sorry about the ambiguity, but this class is an 8-weeks course. Thanks, Denis The hotel, although on the high end of the price, is pretty good. Nice and clean rooms, good street view, within walking distance of major attractions, 2 minutes walk from the metro station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside was the only elevator in the hotel wasn't working during the day hours (I guess it was locked at a specific floor by the room cleaning people); so, I had to climb the stair to the 5th floor on a few occasions. Despite that I would recommend the hotel for a stay in a historic Paris district if you want to be within walking distance of most of the major attractions.

Hotel is very close to Notre Dame and the Seine. Rooms are small but that is expected for the location. We had three in a room with no issues. Elevator only fits one person, so if that is a problem for you, you may reconsider. Extremely pleased with hotel and would stay again.

Nice place in a great location. The staff were very kind and helpful. Metro on the corner, easy to get to CDG airport. Notre Dame 2 blocks away. Our room was super quiet even with traffic down below. Nice happy hour. I would stay again next time in Paris.

Location and breakfast were the stars. For the rest, it's an ok property, for the city... I don't think this would qualify as a 4-star property in another place, but seems some standards are laxed. Personnel were friendly, except for the old man at the reception. Breakfast was good. Room was very old, stained carpets, stained bathroom. Could smell cigarette smoke from the corridor, so even when it says smoke-free, it really isn't. Nice street view from the balcony.

Ein sehr gut gelegenes Hotel, welches leider keine vier Sterne wert ist. Die betten waren bequem, die Einrichtungen jedoch sehr verlebt. Das Badezimmer war enttäuschend klein, ranzig und nicht ganz so sauber. Ein Einpersonenaufzug gab es auch, was es nicht leicht macht, sein Gepäck zu transportieren.

Expensive and not worth it. Only location is good. Rip off and in terrible condition and stinks. Mold in the bathroom and room. Ceiling in bathroom peeling off. Not a 4 star. Elevator small can barely fit 2 average size people and most of the time it is stuck on the 5th floor and doesn’t not come down. Bathroom stays wet as water collects around the tub. They only give water on day of arrival.

What an amazing five day stay! Above all, the entire hotel staff was just incredible, caring and very accomodating. Youssef and Adam went far and above to help me and made me feel right at home! They even kept with my bags as I had to change hotels for one night they were booked and made my stay great! The bed and comfy pillows were amazing, the bathroom with shower and tub so convenient with great amenities. Great towels too! Everything was very clean! My room had two balconies overlooking Bd St Michel, amazing! I could see the tip of the Eiffel Tour and the turning blue light. I could see the bars downstairs. Loved the location, lots of dining around the quartier, the metro steps away, the Notre Dame accross the river and I felt very safe walking alone throughout the entire area. Complementary coffee and croissants offered in the morning, as well as happy hour with wine and drinks. Morning breakfast was delicious too! I totally recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon! Merci!!

This hotel gets two thumbs up from me for location and comfort! You cannot beat the location. Walking distance from so many sites and right next to the metro. The beds were soooooo comfortable. Most comfortable stay out of 3 locations on our trip. Only downside is the room was tiny for 3. We had a queen and twin and it was pretty right. The elevator was also very tiny (older building) so I opted for the stairs to the fourth floor.

Great location, but very pricey for what you get. Nice but small room, the same bath products in my previous much cheaper hotel. BUT my sixth floor room had porthole windows you could actually open – and see the Eiffel Tower! Worth it with a discount over listed rates.

Great location. Restaurants, bars, shopping, the Latin Quartier and Notre Dame steps away. Room was a little small which is expected for Paris. Beds were very comfortable. The balconies that open to Boulevard St. Michell with the maples, were lovely. Will go back.

Zimmer klein aber sehr praktisch - völlig ausreichend. Obwohl ditekt neben der Straße / Metrostation gelegen: sehr! dank dreifachverglasung Personal sehr, sehr freundich!! Frühstück sehr gut und abwechslungsreich!! Alles in Allem: eine absolute Empfehlung!!

The first thing the cranky man at the front desk, said in English was "you don't get free breakfast, you didn't pay for it" --we never inquired about breakfast because we usually don't stop for it The elevator was the size of a coffin & we got stuck in the elevator--terrifying! (the staff did carry our bags up) We never tried it again but it is basically a walk up. The toilet broke & we were without a toilet for a day & a half. We had trouble with the heat & froze on 2 nights The room was so small, no where to put anything & was so so dark! When you look at the pictures & then see the reality you will be more than disappointed--Don't stay there!

The reception staff was helpful and resourceful. The air conditioning unit wasn’t working and a new room was given. I was satisfied with the changes. The housekeeping team kept the place clean. The management also offer refreshments to their tired travellers.

Very comfortable room in a great section of the city. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and right next to the Seine and Norte Dame. Hotel staff was great, extremely helpful, and even treated us to a bottle of champagne upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable room in a great section of the city. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and right next to the Seine and Norte Dame. Hotel staff was great, extremely helpful, and even treated us to a bottle of champagne upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

We were quite disappointed about this hotel. First, it does not deserve four stars. This is very misleading. It’s maximum three stars. It has a very small lobby - no where to sit or have drink - no bar, quite shabby and an exceptionally small elevator, which will give most of you an attack of claustrophobia… The rooms were small but ok. The breakfast room is also small, selection was. Some people in the reception were not very friendly, others were more friendly. It’s very centrally located which was wonderful. The standard is quite low and the prices are far too high for what you get.

A mere 5 minutes from the Notre Dame and then go go from there. All the staff are warm and helpful but a special mention to Denis who went above and beyond in ensuring our mother-daughter trip was special. Breakfast is lovely with a good selection of options for everyone.

Nice place in a great location. The staff were very kind and helpful. Metro on the corner, easy to get to CDG airport. Notre Dame 2 blocks away. Our room was super quiet even with traffic down below. Nice happy hour. I would stay again next time in Paris.

Excellent location! Right in the heart of historic Paris - I was able to walk to all of the major attractions. There are plenty of dining options in the area, including bakeries, take out places and sit-down restaurants. An added bonus was that the RERB (train) goes from CDG airport to the St. Michel stop and from there it is a short (2-4) minute walk to the hotel. I stayed in a classic double room which was small, but fine for solo travel, and the mini fridge, kettle and combination shower/tub was appreciated. The property shows some wear and tear (carpet, tub finish, armchair in room) but it was clean. My courtyard location meant there was very little street noise, although you could hear hallway noise clearly. Overall it was an excellent stay!

Great location in easy walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Good access to Metro and bus routes. Staff very helpful. Only negative is the lift which as others have mentioned is about the size of a coffin! Didn’t really impact us as we were on second floor and when we checked in our luggage was delivered to our room. Overall a really good experience.

Location, location, location! A short walk to the metro station, and cafe and shopping all around. A short walk across the Thames to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and the Louvre. We walked to the Opera House and other sites as well. Our room was small but nice and quite comfortable. Yes, it's a little outdated and yes the elevator could hold only 2 people as others have mentioned, but they take your luggage to your room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you want a modern USA type hotel with all the amenities, then stay in the La Defense area which is like any other big city. But if you want to experience Paris, then this hotel is perfect. You cannot beat the location.

Our three day stay was excellent in every way. The location is incredible, just steps away from the metro St. Michel stop and RER Line C. You can easily walk almost anywhere. Notre Dame, the Cluny Museum, the Louve, the Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens are all especially close. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower along the river, the Bastille and the Arch de Triomphe. Each location took about an hour of slow walking from the hotel. Absolutely the best way to go. As for the hotel itself, the staff was courteous and helpful at all times. The room was very pleasant with a bit of a balcony and wonderful view. Lots of little extras like a small fridge and teakettle, magnifying mirror, and lots of closet/cupboard space. The bed was very comfortable with crisp, clean linens. There is some street noise at night, but not too noticeable if the window is closed. Of course the hotel is older, with a worn, spiral staircase winding up to the sixth floor and a comically tiny elevator. All part of the Paris charm!

The staff was wonderful. The woman at the front desk was very helpful when we were checking in and also printing my train tickets. Great location near Metro line 4 and easy to get to all our favorite areas. My only surprise, since it's a 4 star hotel, is that the breakfast didn't have the great coffee machines we've seen everywhere else we've been in the last 3 months - they make wonderfully, perfect coffee.

Ett superbra läge , trevlig och service vänlig personal. Et bra rum , snyggt och alltid välstädat ! Dock måste man vara kritisk mot det lilla frukostrummet , ett på tok för litet utrymme, fruktansvärt trångt, absolut inte godkänd för att ha 4 st stjärnor !! storleken på rummet var max 20 kvm meter. Antal rum på hotellet tror jag är ca 30-35 rum , 6 våningar ! Hotellet var fullsatt ! Frukost rummet hade ca 18 st stolar, det fungerade med nöd och pga av en fantastisk personal !

Great Hotel in great location near Notre Dame Cathedral. Service Super! Breakfast OUTSTANDING! Staff went out of their way to help me find necessary medication! Assistant Manager accompanied me to the Pharmacy two times and finally located a physician that wrote me an order, on line. The Breakfast Worker also provided outstanding, consistent food & service! EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING, A credit to hospiitality in central Paris!!! No complaints of any kind. WRD
