Overall we had a pleasant stay where the room and facilities were as we expected. There are two things to be improved. The first is the elevator that is too small to carry 2 adults, one child and a stroller. The second thing is how the people at reception welcome new guests. When we arrived they were busy doing other things and it took some time before we were contacted.

The elevator does not function correctly and we got stuck in the elevator on arrival. The staff helped but for the rest of the stay it worked unreliably. We reported it to the staff on checkout. It is safety issue which needs to be fixed.

Everything about the hotel was great. Lovely breakfast with lots of options. Service and staff was good. I enjoy staying at HI and this one didn’t disappoint. The room was a decent size for Paris. I would stay again. My only comment is that if you have slight mobility issues, request an accessible room. Our room had a few steps to take from the elevator and the tub was a bit raised from the floor.

This hotel was in the perfect location and walking distance to most monuments I wanted to visit in Paris. The hotel and room was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and I had no issues when it came to checking in/out. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was all the noise coming from the side street at night time. I’m assuming this is normal in Paris due to the night scene but I’m thankful I had my earplugs. I would definitely return to this hotel if I were to go back to Paris.

Perfect location. Metro is right outside, and there’s many dining options nearby. A lot of places are walkable, about 20-30 min max to most places. The hotel is a bit more dated and not quite as clean as the pictures, but otherwise great value for the location.

I stayed 2 nights with my 2 children. The hotel is located next to the metro and tram stop. From the hotel you can easily reach the Montmartre area, the Louvre, the Notre Dame cathedral, we go there walking. The hotel staff is really helpful, polite, smiling, even the guys in the breakfast room (thanks Priscilla!) The rooms are spacious, clean, have an espresso machine, and tea. In the bathroom there are dispensers for soap, shampoo, and body cream. I highly recommend this property.

Rigtig fin placering, og som sådan et ok hotel som jeg sagtens kunne booke igen...men et 4 stjernet hotel med et ultra lille værelse og hvor fugerne i badeværelset er væk og der er store "mug" pletter på væggen i badet. Så er ikke et 4 stjerners hotel efter mine begreber.

I was really pleased being at this hotel. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean. The place is clean including the towels (yes, I judge the smell of towels too). It's a well managed property well fitted out with everyday things you need. Breakfast was generous and great. This is probably my first review of a hotel in a long time, so that means something. Also, please be nice to the cleaners during your stay.

Good hotel but 1st night our shower didn't drain. It flooded the bathroom and part of bedroom carpet. Technician only part fixed it that night. Frustrating and the GM claimed he couldn't do anything y like adjust our charge for the night. He didn't even return our calls. The issue was ignored the room which was labeled "superior " was small. Breakfast was very good and hotel location was good although a noisy street

I stayed 2 nights with my 2 children. The hotel is located next to the metro and tram stop. Only had a street front. I did not like the tub in the room. Unfortunately, it is very high & very difficult to get in or out. I know that is normal for European bathrooms to have a tub, but in the future I would probably ask for shower only. I. Am only 5’1” and a Senior, climbing over tub could be dangerous.

Prima hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekende bedden. Kamers zijn stil maar wel vrij klein (voor deze locatie midden in Parijs is dat normaal). De airco werkte prima maar de bediening is wel wat verouderd. Als de juiste temperatuur is bereikt slaat hij af (airco blijft dan niet in een slaapstand zacht blazen). Prima ontbijt met erg leuk uitzicht over de drukke Boulevard (totaal geen last van het verkeerslawaai). Metro is letterlijk voor de deur. Levendige buurt met veel restaurants. De warenhuizen zijn op loopafstand of twee haltes met de metro. Veel bezienswaardigheden zijn dichtbij.

Our first night we had a shower that didn't drain and flooded the bathroom and into the carpet of the room. A maintenance guy only half unplugged it. We tried talking to the GM but he couldn't make a decision and was supposed to get back with us. He never did. They had a nice breakfast and our superior room was small but ok. We were on the 7th floor so it was quiet on a busy street. Would look for another hotel next time

Great location, lovely property, cozy room and friendly staff! Right next to Metro stop and close to wonderful restaurants and bakeries. Great cozy room with surprisingly large bathroom, street can be noisy but as soon as you close the windows it’s quite quiet!

Il est aussi très bien placé, dans un quartier vivement et bien desservi par le métro. Le seul petit bémol était ma chambre avec une porte accédant à l’autre chambre. J’entendais tout, surtout avec des voisins bruyants. Je fus réveillé 2 fois par leur réveil. La réceptionniste m’a conseillé de l’indiquer lors de la prochaine réservation, chose que je ferai car je compte bien revenir dans cette hôtel !

Really wanted to give 4.5 stars. Location & staff were best. The metro stop Grand Blvd was literally in front of the hotel entrance. So convenient. My key req was AC, elevator & metro access. It was very hot in humid in August so wanted AC. I even turned it off at night cuz it was so good. Rooms are small so I booked a premium room. After this, I booked, a Hilton in London’s West End; just as great value!

This hotel will not change my booking dates as Brussels Airlines cancelled my flight last minute. I pleaded with the management of the hotel, the Expedia team did same but they wouldn’t be bothered. They took almost 700 US dollars from my credit card without me stepping a foot in the hotel. Zero human face to customer service, even robots are not wired this way. Maybe that’s what “French Hospitality” is about.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Paris Opera Grands Boulevards was great! It was centrally located, close to the Metro and within walking distance to many tourist sites and restaurants. A special thank you to Jason at the reception desk who always helped us to determine the best routes to various places we wanted to go. The breakfast was excellent (good variety of foods, hot and cold) and the rooms were nice and clean. We'll be back!
