Loved our stay the the Trianon Rive Gauche! The breakfast was amazing. Our room was a good size. The location is perfect and the view from our 8th story room absolutely wonderful. Really the only complaint was the elevator and if I could give a 4.5 rating I would. We knew the main elevator was out for maintenance. There was a second elevator available (which I assume is the service elevator), but it was absolutely tiny and broke down the first day and afterward was limited to one person at a time. We just took the stairs and it worked out fine - even if by the 5th floor it was mocking our fitness levels. In spite of that, I would definitely stay there again! Even without the elevator.

Good location. Good amenities. Room was clean. Housekeeping fell short…didn’t restock coffee, toilet tissue, etc. Nice balcony but limited views. Main elevator out of service during entire stay. Service elevator broke down during stay. This in an eight story building. For the price we paid, we should not have experienced any of these inconveniences.

We have stayed at Trianon consistently for four years. The service, location, and staff are excellent. Unfortunately, the newly installed elevator was out of service for most of our 10-day stay. In addition, the ser ice elevator was out of service many days and we had to walk up 6 flights to our room.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Close by many of the sites we wanted to visit. Very close to Latin district which has many, many dining options. The only thing we did not enjoy is that the hotel is currently renovating (putting in a new elevator). The existing elevator is extremely tiny, very slow, and doesn't always work. We were on the 8th floor, and the elevator only goes to the 7th. We had to climb a very tiny spiral staircase which was difficult with our large luggage. But the room was adorable. Despite the elevator challenge, we would absolutely stay at this property again.

Excellent hotel in a superb location. Lots of places to see nearby and excellent locations for dining out and shopping. The train from the airport (B line) stops a few minutes walk away, making it easy to get to. The lounge in the hotel served free coffee and cake during lunchtime which was a lovely touch and the staff where excellent.

The hotel was clean and the staff attentive. We did not take breakfast as lots of choices in surrounding streets and much more atmosphere to eat out. Bed was comfortable. Main lift was under maintenance, but service lift was perfectly adequate. We would recommend as the area around the hotel is brilliant and it is well located for many sites, including notre dame and louve. Both 15 min walk or less

Occasionally someone on an upper floor did not close the door, so NO ONE could use the elevator until a staff member ran up to the 6th or 7th floor to close the door. The staff was friendly and accommodating, The breakfast was well done.

This property is in a great area within walking distance to restaurants, shops and city highlights. The elevators was not working but the staff is always available to help with luggage if needed. Staff were helpful and attentive but we only heard that the lift was not working just before travelling. The remaining lift accommodated only one person. The bathroom had a yellow stain on the inside rim of the toilet seat that we had to clean with alcohol gel, because although it was reported, nobody came to clean it.

No one came in to empty trash or clean bathrooms during a 5 night stay. We had to go to the front desk to get towels. I requested bottled water for the mini bar 3 times, which was never sent.

The hotel was very traditional, and quite small in places. Our room had a rather run down balcony and it was tiny but the view was brilliant. Sadly after a long day out visiting Versailles we came back and our room hadn’t been serviced, we asked at reception and went out while this was corrected but when you are tired and needing a shower, it was rather inconvenient. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel especially if you like quaint.

Demasiado caro lo único bueno del hotel es la vista por la cual pegamos extra. No hacían un aseo correo en la pieza, calefacción mala, baño sucio, dejaron ventana abierta todo el día de lluvia se mojó toda la alfombra y la respuesta fue que siempre l dejaban abierta. Huéspedes en l noche gritando y metiendo mucho ruido, respuesta del hotel “es que están celebrando con champagne”. Jabón del baño nunca lo pusieron ni repusieron. En resumen muy mal hotel y muy caro ( casi el triple de los otros que hemos estado en este viaje, de igual categoría en Italia, España y Londres)

Cosy, little room. The bed was great. Nice pillows. It was great to complimentary water and sodas in the room. I also got a bathrobe and slippers. Clean room, though a bit old. Downside: Floor drain looked dirty. Thin walls.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Service is sub-par, as are the amenities. I was really hoping to like this place too. The pictures looked great and the location was amazing. Staff needs retraining. They lack friendliness and sense of urgency. I stood and waited while the girl at the front ignored me and kept tapping away at the computer while I had just arrived. I went to the desk 2x to let them know my shower was clogged and not draining. By the 3rd time (I reminded them 2x the same day), I had given up. I stayed a total of 5 days with a clogged shower. It's 1.50 for a Nespresso in the lobby and they don't provide hair conditioner in the rooms. Bathroom was tiny and needed regrouting, on top of a deep clean as there was mold around the top. The lobby was cutely decorated.

Very convenient location to explore old Paris and on metro line to Roland Garros, main reason I chose it. I usually stay at 4* hotels. Would class this as 3*. Decor dated, bedrooms need refresh and it isnt usual in 4* to permanently store hoover & cleaning supplies in full view on main stairs. Was already in shower before bed when I found out bodywash container was empty & no shampoo provided. This is standard for 4*. Had to get out of shower already wet to call Reception for bodywash & shampoo. What followed was a Fawlty Towers style sketch of Reception dropping off bodywash (in refill pouch that dont stand up), leaving before I could ask where the shampoo was, them returning with shampoo, me saying I had no scissors to open either pouch and them instructing me to remove dispenser from the container fastened to the shower wall to use it to pierce the pouches open. They then spent 10 minutes in bathroom trying to dismantle the on-wall container to refill. All this time I was still soaked & asked them to carry on sorting out next day as it was gone 10pm & I needed to finish shower & go to sleep as leaving very early next day. After finishing shower, discovered hotel hairdryer didnt work and had to request replacement & wait for that to be brought. Gave me 1 with tiny cable meaning I couldnt be anywhere near a mirror while drying my hair. All of this added an hour to my shower time and curtailed my sleep on a very busy day. Great base but definitely not a 4*. Wouldnt stay again

Clean hotel in a very nice location - near les jardins de Luxembourg, Pantheon and le Quartier Latin. It’s a little dated but the bathrooms are modern and beds are very comfortable.

The location is great and the room is reasonably sized by Paris standards. The shoe care kit was nice and the breakfast bar looked great. While the room itself was clean, the shower was not. Small spots of black mold and other stains on the walls and the water was pouring out of the side of the shower, which did not seal, sending lots of water on to the floor. Not what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Overall I liked my stay at this property. I will note that the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful, and the Breakfast was better than usual continental. The location was great so many things were walkable and easy to get to. I probably wouldn't stay here again mostly because the air conditioning didn't really cool the rooms at all. We visited in the summer it was very hot and humid in our rooms. Other things to note, the TVs were old and wouldn't work with our smart phones (the Wifi was good), also the rooms were cramped. We had 2 rooms and they were very different. Both rooms were small, but one was much larger. One bathroom was updated one wasn't, one room had a walk in closet and one didn't. I think for the price it wasn't too bad, if it had better air and smart TVs I wouldn't have cared so much.
Overall I liked my stay at this property. I will note that the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful, and the Breakfast was better than usual continental. The location was great so many things were walkable and easy to get to. I probably wouldn't stay here again mostly because the air conditioning didn't really cool the rooms at all. We visited in the summer it was very hot and humid in our rooms. Other things to note, the TVs were old and wouldn't work with our smart phones (the Wifi was good), also the rooms were cramped. We had 2 rooms and they were very different. Both rooms were small, but one was much larger. One bathroom was updated one wasn't, one room had a walk in closet and one didn't. I think for the price it wasn't too bad, if it had better air and smart TVs I wouldn't have cared so much.

The washroom was fully renovated and very nice. The bedroom part could use a refresh. While the area itself is relatively quiet, the walls between the rooms are paper thin. So, if there was someone in the next room, I could hear everything. They would not let me check in 2 hours early even though I had emailed them a couple of days beforehand. I would have been willing to pay a fee.

Amazing location and good service. The breakfast was very good each day and they had cake or dessert in the afternoon which was a nice touch. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I booked a balcony which was small but nice to have. The room is small and very clean but need some refurbishing. Would stay again!

Very nice, even fancy, hotel. Looks like a fairly recent refit, maybe. My single room was pretty tiny, though. Nicely appointed, just a little cramped. Top floor (7th) with the main elevator out of service. Soon to be fixed I was told.

I was fortunate to have a room at the back of the property, which was very quiet. Also, being on the 7th floor, I had a lovely view. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Lovely breakfast room with many food and beverage choices. Best of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Would definitely stay here again!

This is not a 4 star hotel. Service is sub-par, as are the amenities. I was really hoping to like this place too. The pictures looked great and the location was amazing. Staff needs retraining. They lack friendliness and sense of urgency. I stood and waited while the girl at the front ignored me and kept tapping away at the computer while I had just arrived. I went to the desk 2x to let them know my shower was clogged and not draining. By the 3rd time (I reminded them 2x the same day), I had given up. I stayed a total of 5 days with a clogged shower. It's 1.50 for a Nespresso in the lobby and they don't provide hair conditioner in the rooms. Bathroom was tiny and needed regrouting, on top of a deep clean as there was mold around the top. The lobby was cutely decorated.

I would have given this place 5 stars but when you’ve spent over $3500 you would think they would care ….they didn’t !

Hotel Trianon doesn't deserve a 4 star - 2 stars at best. The front desk staff were unfriendly, ill-mannered, and not very helpful. Not even when I walked in with a cheery Bonjour. One of reasons we chose this hotel is because it was advertised as the rooms having A/C. This was not the case during our extremely hot summer stay recently. One of our rooms never had a working A/C unit and we had a very temperamental unit in another, where it only worked sometimes. We reported the problem, and they did nothing, not even attempting to offer a room change. Another huge problem is that the elevator only worked or rare occasion during our entire stay. It was dreadful, to say the least. Also, the tea reception hour is a joke. If you didn't arrive within the first 15 minutes, everything was gone. So much disappointment. We won't be staying here again.

Main lift was under maintenance, but service lift was perfectly adequate. We would recommend as the area around the hotel is brilliant and it is well located for many sites, including notre dame and louve. Both 15 min walk or less

I chose this hotel because of the location where i wanted to visit having stayed at another area in the previous trip. The place was convenient to many metro stops and within walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre, pantheon, St Chapelle, St Sulpice and even the Musee DÓrsay and Les Invalides. Lovely, clean room with comfortable bed. Charming lobby with tea and a different yummy cake every afternoon. Complimentary coke and juice in the fridge and bottle of champagne and macarons in the room upon arrival. Received a bottle wine and candied nuts the second day. Not sure if always do or was just for the overpriced Olympics stay. Breakfast buffet is tasty and has good variety, but is expensive. Several inexpensive restaurants for breakfast across the street. Friendly, helpful staff. Short walks to Left Bank sites, metro and RER to airport. Unfortunately, stay was marred by the elevator breaking down for 4 days (was still broken when I left), so had to take the dingy, slow service elevator that only holds two people. Both elevators only go to 6th floor, so if your room is on the 7th you have to walk one flight. Was napping first day and had do not disturb sign out, but person delivering the wine just entered my room.

The staff was very helpful on numerous occasions. The breakfast was delicious and had a very large assortment of food. The room was fairly spacious. My biggest complaint is the train station that was super close was under construction so we couldn’t use that station. This resulted in longer than expected walks to another station and just getting around town. We wound up using Uber more than expected. There is one 2 person elevator so if you are staying on an upper floor, be prepared to walk the winding staircase or wait for the elevator.
