Great location, short walk to Notre Dame. Front desk very helpful. Room was small but adequate in every way. Bathroom was very small but immaculate. Stepping into the bathtub might be difficult for someone with a disability or balance issues. The elevator is tiny, but we managed just fine.

We liked everything about the property. One inconvenient thing was the size of the elevator. We had one mid-size and one small (carry-on size) suitcase, and the two of us with the luggage could not fit into the elevator easily.

Excellent location. Walkable to shopping, the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame and much more. Beds and pillows are comfortable. They have a nice sitting area for evening wind down with a glass of wine. We would stay again.

Staff were extremely nice and great location. Beds were like sleeping on concrete with a sheet. I’m from America and maybe we are used to softer beds lol, I noticed no one else mentioned the extremely hard beds in their reviews. Stairs are not for anyone who has been drinking, lift was extremely small.

Property is in a convenient location. It is close to Metro stop. You can easily walk to Notre Dane and the Louvre. Many cafes, restaurants, and bakeries are close by. Staff are very friendly and informative. Like many Paris hotels, rooms are very small. The elevator was broken for two of the days that we stayed. It was not convenient to walk up 6 flights of stairs.

While this hotel is in a great location next to numerous historical spots, the hotel itself seems a little outdated. There is one very tiny, slow elevator that cannot fit 2 people with their luggage. They also lock the hotel doors late at night (like most hotels) but you have to buzz the front desk in order to get in. The walls seem very thin because we could hear the people below us coughing. The old-fashioned decor is nice, but there were a lot of areas where this hotel could be revamped.

I booked this hotel last minute because a flight delay caused me to miss my connection and be stuck in Paris for about 30 hours. I arrived at the hotel and the staff was so kind and welcoming. They had warm tea available which was great because I did not have clothes for winter in Paris and was freezing! Once my room was ready they took my luggage up for me which was so nice since I was an exhausted mess. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower had great pressure! I ventured out briefly and the location seemed awesome, super close to Notre Dame and the Lourve. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was a horrible experience, I didn't sleep the room was noisy, there's water dripping the while night, staffs are not helpful and not accommodating, bathroom is very small, there's dripping of water all the time how can you sleep? I should get my money back as it was not worth of stay, it ruined my stay in Paris!

The location was excellent. An easy walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Ile St Louis and others. Metro stations were also close by for visits farther afield. Our room was quite small and we were getting a little claustrophobic after 6 days. The breakfast buffet was excellent - well worth the price.

Great location and nice staff. The breakfast was good. Staff were helpful every time. Rooms on the top floor should be for small people only as the roof has angles that get in the way in the bathroom. So if you are big or tall definitely get a room below the top floor. Air conditioner in room was great. Overall I would come back again.

Although the hotel aesthetic looks beautiful on the pictures. The rooms are extremely small even considering Paris standards. You do not feel any privacy. You can hear the guest in the next room constantly overall it’s very noisy.

Great location which is central to everything we needed and walkable also. Only stop was that the aircon didn’t work and we had to open the doors which accommodated bugs and the noise from the bar restaurants and bloody sirens at night.

We loved our stay at Hotel Britannique! They really know how to treat their guests and make you feel welcome. The breakfast in the morning is for a charge, but worth every penny! We skipped it the first day and bought pastries and coffee down the street. It cost the same as the buffet breakfast and the hotel's was so much better! We enjoyed it so much and it kept us full for most of the day. We rarely had lunch, just a snack in the afternoon. The shower water can be tricky. The hot water must be limited and will sometimes run out when it's busy (it happened to us just once in the week we were there). That made us get up and get our showers early and get us out for the day! We had a nice size room to start and then switched for an Eiffel Tower view, that room is much smaller, but it was fun for the night. The room was always clean. There is a stocked fridge and you can get drinks for a charge. There is also a tea kettle (free) that I enjoyed with extra creamers/sugar available. We are used to a fan in the room and they had one we could use, along with a top sheet if you request it. The elevator is small, but worked for two people and our luggage. Lots of restaurants and shops just down the street. Put this boutique hotel on your list!

My mother and I just stayed here, and loved our time in Paris. Hotel Britannique had lovely decorated rooms that were meticulously cleaned, and staff that were always smiling and helpful. They provided assistance in answering any questions I had, and gave wonderful recommendations for places to see and eat. Staying at the hotel made my mother and I feel immersed in the magic of Paris, and longing to return again. We did so many things while we were here(all that were within walking distance of the hotel) a river cruise, shopping, seeing the many iconic churches, and all the food we could get. We have been to Paris before, but chose to get lost in the city and wandered into 90% of the things we did. A great hotel and location. Would stay here again.

Room was cleaned every day. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Everything I asked for they were willing and able to help. Extra towels, wake up calls, restaurant recommendations. You ask for it you got it. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a short but a great stay. Room was cozy and comfortable . We have checked out after breakfast . While I want to confirm it was a good breakfast and it is good value for money (€14/ person) , it was disappointing that the famous Parisian Hot Chocolate was not available as my 13 year old daughter was looking forward to that experience . The front desk confirmed it is part of the breakfast but the stewardess at the buffet area said there is no hot chocolate. I suggest Hot Chocolate to be added for those who wish to have it as part of the buffet for future . I would definitely recommend your hotel and will return . Thank you for everything !

Fantastic experience - friendly, helpful staff. Great location, 2 mins from Metro (direct line from Gare de Nord) and River Seine - 10 min walk from Notre Dame. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby but in a quiet avenue. Enjoyed breakfast on our balcony as well as in Dining Room. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at the Britannique Hotel! The staff was warm and welcoming, even encouraging my halting attempts at speaking French. We especially appreciated being allowed to check in hours early, as we arrived tired after a lengthy redeye. The room was cozy but extremely comfortable, the hotel decor was tasteful, and breakfast was delicious (buffet style with all the French trimmings). Best of all, the location is without equal, offering short walks to the Seine and myriad local shops and cafes. Breakfast was around 15€ per person and had only a few meats out and some yogurt and croissants. Definitely not worth the money. Staff were friendly. Room wasn’t ready when we got there but they held our bags until late into the evening. Shower was not great. Didn’t work if the shower head was up. Had to hold the shower head to shower

The Britanique is a lovely older hotel that feels like stepping back a few decades. The room we had was perfect for our quick weekend in Paris. The bathroom was tiny, but spotless. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was basic, so if you are looking for eggs Benedict, check out other spots in the neighborhood. We felt it was kind of expensive, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
