Lovely little hotel with the world smaller elevator,which made me smile.

Getting to the hotel from the train station and airport was very easy . The room was very spacious . David checked us in and was very kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay . The hotel itself had a very homey feeling and such cute decor for Christmas time. You can find lift to take your luggage up to your room which is a plus. The hotel also has complementary fruit in the lobby which was great.

Hotel where details matter. Coffee & fruit bar as you enter. Lovely flowers on each stair level & books if you wanted to stop & read. Rooms really comfortable & very clean. Free tea and coffee. Staff so very friendly. Location perfect- right next to metro station. This hotel is perfect!

We are traveling by bicycle and the hotel was able to provide storage for our bicycle boxes until we return in 7 weeks! After breakfast is served you may be able to assemble your bicycle in the breakfast room. There is a very small area behind the hotel to store assembled bikes. We stored ours in our room.

Vi stannade 5 nätter. Mindre, jättemysigt hotell. Vi var där i oktober och då var det pyntat i Halloween och hösttema vilket vi uppskattade. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och det var väldigt rent på rummet. Trevligt med morgonrock, frukt tillgängligt i lobbyn samt te/kaffe både på rummet och i lobbyn. Metron går utanför hotellet så det hörs in till hotellet. Det låg öronproppar på rummet för den som är känslig. Vi stördes dock inte av ljud från metron. Hissen är väldigt smal. Funkar bra för två personer och två medelstora resväskor. Vi åt inte frukost på hotellet så vi har ingen uppfattning om frukosten.

j'avais déjà gardé un tres bon souvenir de mon passge il y a quelques années. Mais là, les travaux de rénovation, ont permis d'augmenter le niveau de confort tout en conservant son authenticité. L'hotel de la porte dorée n'est pas un hotel de chaine et presente une réelle personnalité. a cela il faut rajouter des services de tres bon niveau ( peignoir,pantoufles, bouchon d'oreilles, kit de couture) que l'on trouve habituelllement dans des hotels de gammes supérieure. le buffet du petit déjeuner est tres soigné avec produits bios et veritable jus d'orange pressé. et pour compléter le tout le personnel est tres acceuillant et toujours pret à une attention.

Amazing service at a really charming hotel. A little out of the way of tourist attractions but with a real local feel. Very bicycle friendly.

Excelente opção de estadia em hotel tipo boutique perto do Metro, uma grande vantagem é o hotel disponibilizar maquina de cafe na recepção durante todo o dia, sem cobrar custo extra para utilização.

Eigentlich ein sehr nettes Hotel in einem.sehr netten und typischen Pariser Vorort. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Einwohner. ABER....die U- Bahn , die sich direkt unter dem Hotel befindet hört man sehr deutlich, auch noch im dritten Stock. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, aber auch sehr klein. Es gibt nur Frühstück. Allerdings gibt es direkt in der Umgebung zahlreiche FastFood Läden und kleine Cafes. Direkt am Hotel eine sehr nett3 Pizzeria. Fazit...wer Nachts seine Ruhe haben möchte, sollte ein anderes Hotel wählen. Ah ja...der Aufzug ist leider auch ein Witz. Ein kleiner " Schacht" in den 2 Personen passen. Also nicht benutzen, wenn man Platzangst hat. Parkmöglichkeiten vom Hotel aus gibt es leider keine. Zwar gibt es direkt vor dem Hotel Parkplätze, aber mit 4 Euro die Stunde schlagen diese gewaltig auf die Reisekasse.

The hotel room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and eager to help whenever I asked.

Albergo carino, pulito, personale gentile. Le stanze non sono grandi ma tutto sommato accoglienti. Noi siamo stati molto bene, la metto appena esci dall’ hotel è fantastica.

Wonderful staff and room was clean & comfortable

Belle chambre mais beaucoup de bruit (circulation , metro) difficile de bien dormir. Television où le son est bloqué au minimum de sorte qu'il est impossible de suivre un programme, j'ai regardé la télé sur mon téléphone. Bon accueil, tout est propre.

Propre et pratique il y a malheureusement un bruit lié au ram de métro qui fait vibrer le bâtiment de manière très bruyante.

Worst noise I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Walls are paper thin and the street noise goes on all night including screams. Can’t believe the reviews say how great it is. It’s cute and clean and that’s it. Cold check in from reception, although the lady who took over the shift was very kind and personable.

Nice little hotel, the triple room was a good size and comfortable beds. Metro station across the road and a nice boulangerie and a couple of bistros close by (Au Bois was really good - very friendly and nice atmosphere). Rumbling from the metro going underneath causes the occasional bit of noise through the hotel so if you’re a very light sleeper it may keep you up. But overall a good little hotel.

Conveniently located just steps away from the metro. Staff was professional, helpful and bilingual. The room was a tad bit small for a couple but has all the amenities required. We enjoyed our stay.

Vi (3st) bodde i ett trippelrum, sköna sängar. Toaletten var ensam i ett mindre utrymme, medan badkar + dusch och handfatet var i ett större rum, vägg i vägg med toaletten. Frukosten var vi nöjda med, fanns kaffe/te, yoghurt, frukt, bröd, ägg. Låg väldigt nära en tunnelbanestation, linje 8.

Hotel recentemente restaurato. Arredamento di buon gusto e sanitari e pavimenti del bagno nuovi. Peccato che si senta molto il rumore e le vibrazioni della metro che passa proprio sotto. Io sono riuscito a riposare senza troppi problemi, ma per chi ha il sonno leggero può essere un problema. Anche il box doccia é davvero stretto.

Une découverte. L'hôtel est plein de charme. La chambre parfaite, literie très confortable, la climatisation fonctionne parfaitement bien. Notre adresse pour un séjour à Paris.

The room was ok not much space for clothes but the second/3rd floor much better then the lower floor

The hotel was in a great location for us, it was older but still very nice with so much character - which we loved. The room was clean, spacious enough for two, and had a nice updated bathroom as well. Unfortunately we had bad luck with some inconsiderate people next door as there was a lot of noise. So, if you are a light sleeper I would advise that the walls are very thin and you can feel/hear the subway rumbles as well.

Fantastic kind staff and cute small rooms with even smaller bathroom. i didn’t mind hearing the metro… but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything with the guests next door to you and even those passing in the hall. it’s like you don’t even have privacy. one day we were getting ready for bed, talking at a normal volume and then our neighbors started knocking on our wall telling us to be quiet. it was really disturbing because we weren’t drunk or loud, it was a regular toned conversation talking about our day. so after that the next 4 days felt like we couldn’t relax in our rooms and whispered at night.

The hotel is not the closest to the Paris tourist hotspots but that shouldn't detract from this lovely hotel. Metro access is very close by. Tram and bus stops are also close by. Providing access to all the sightseeing places you ask for! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable - cleaned and tidied whilst we were out on a daily basis. We weren't bothered by any significant noise even with it's city location. Choices for local eating was also good and there were local grocery stores for supplies and snacks.

The hotel is very close to train station, which allows you to get around easily. There are also good bakeries nearby. Living on the second floor is not quiet but it was acceptable for us. The staff were very friendly.

Small boutique hôtel in a lovely neighborhood near the Paris Zoo and the Tropical Aquarium. Metro is steps away from the property. Very comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

Une super atmosphère (surtout pour noël), une chambre neuve avec des petites attentions, des produits de qualités et eco-responsables, un acceuil chaleureux. Tout est parfait. Même l'emplacement pour le bois de Vincennes et l'accès au coeur de Paris par la ligne 8.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié l’excellente qualité du petit déjeuner. Ma chambre était confortable malgré le bruit du au métro. L’hôtel est à à 5 minutes du parc de Vincennes, pour une ballande ou un jogging en pleine nature !
