Efficient hotel within walking distance to Gare de Lyon. The room even had a balcony with a view of the clock tower. The staff were very friendly. The lobby had lockers too if you arrive early. The neighborhood was pedestrian friendly with a fair number of restaurants. We were able to walk across the bridge to the Batobus station, Natural History Museum, and more. I would happily stay there again.

Great place near the Gare de Lyon. We had issues unlocking our door every single time we wanted to access our room, but the attendant tried fixing it at a timely manner. Though the first time took long time since it was late and he was alone at the desk having to check in other people. For the inconvenience, they accepted to give us breakfast for a morning. If you decide to stay here, keep in mind that they will make a copy of your passport and will collect "tourist tax" which is something I did not know about since no other place in France I stayed in charged me for. Also, they will be putting an amount on hold which they call a deposit, though I don’t understand why it is needed given you already have to pay when booking the hotel with Expedia. It just feels like an unnecessary transaction on my credit card. Otherwise, room was great. AC worked. All is clean.

The hotel is in a central location , near Gare de Lyon and Le Marais. Walking out, there were special shops which were a bit confronting. The renovation was not a big problem though it looked a bit scary at first. Guests were asked to leave the door swipes every time they left the room which felt strange.

bon Rapport Qualité/prix. Attention toutefois à ajouter à votre séjour, le prix d'un des parking souterrains aux alentours. celui de la Gare de Lyon, coute quand meme 40€ la nuit. L'hotel est par contre, très proche de la gare, c'est parfait. je recommande.

great location, two minute walk from De Lyon Train Station where i can take metro ,RER ( Local train) and long journey trains to other cities. A few nice restaurants are nearby. First time i experienced fresh scramble egg for breakfast, not too much choices for breakfast but is good enough. good secure , i had to give back my room card whenever I left the hotel. 24 hour front desk service and all the staffs are helpful and they all work efficiently to make sure all the guests are safe while they are in the hotel. the only issue is there were ambulance siren quite often every night when I stayed, I guess there is a hospital in the area. Overall, I would recommend this hotel especially for someone who is the first time to visit Paris.

Overall, a good stay. However, I don’t like that every time you leave the hotel you need to return the key like old times. Also, you are not allowed to invite friends to your room which is also an uncomfortable experience. Service is on average. Room is to tight but you can handle. I stayed there for 10 nights

We had a very pleasant one night stay at Hotel Palym. We were due to travel to Nice via rail in the morning, and this made the perfect stop over while we waited in Paris. The staff at the front were very professional and helpful to us. The room was very clean, albeit the bathroom was very tiny. Everything was great - thanks!

Les chambres ne sont pas du tout insonorisées. Vous entendez vos voisins parler, leur téléphone sonnait… Le chauffage est bruyant et peut vous empêcher de dormir. Il manque un porte-serviettes dans la salle de bains. Le cube placé au sol des toilettes pour poser les serviettes n’est pas adapté. Il y a la place pour un porte serviette sur le mur à côté du lavabo, pourquoi ne pas en installer un ? J’avais demandé une chambre au calme et éloignée de l’ascenseur, on m’a attribué une chambre côté rue à côté de l’ascenseur ! Manque de respect du client surtout que le réceptionniste aurait pu en parler lors de l’arrivée et excuser l’établissement si la demande ne pouvait pas être honorée. L’accueil pourrait être amélioré : un sourire est toujours agréable à recevoir !

Perfect location right across from Gare De Lyon station for transport throughout Paris. Staff were lovey and accommodating, easy check in and check out. The room we had was advertised as sound proof however we could hear movement in the hallways any time a door opened or someone was walking past as well as really loud noise coming from outside throughout the night. Would book again and would advise requesting a room that doesn’t face out onto the street!

I stayed here 3 nights with my mom on a tourism trip - it was quite the walk to reach museums and the tower, so we ended up relying heavily on transit. The room itself was perfect in size - much more spacious than expected and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was great too.

Je suis arrivé j’ai dû attendre 1 heure avant que la réception s’occupe de moi alors qu’il y avais une seule personne devant moi. Le personnel a été odieux ce qui m’a repoussée à dormir dans l’hôtel de plus il ne m’a laissé voir personne je n’ai donc pas pu dormir dans cet l’hôtel. Je n’ai jamais vu ça. Pourtant j’ai l’habitude de réserver des hôtels pour le travail mais là c’était invivable. Je ne le recommande absolument pas.

great location, two minute walk from De Lyon Train Station where i can take metro ,RER ( Local train) and long journey trains to other cities. A few nice restaurants are nearby. First time i experienced fresh scramble egg for breakfast, not too much choices for breakfast but is good enough. good secure , i had to give back my room card whenever I left the hotel. 24 hour front desk service and all the staffs are helpful and they all work efficiently to make sure all the guests are safe while they are in the hotel. the only issue is there were ambulance siren quite often every night when I stayed, I guess there is a hospital in the area. Overall, I would recommend this hotel especially for someone who is the first time to visit Paris.

We had a very pleasant one night stay at Hotel Palym. We were due to travel to Nice via rail in the morning, and this made the perfect stop over while we waited in Paris. The staff at the front were very professional and helpful to us. The room was very clean, albeit the bathroom was very tiny. Everything was great - thanks!

Efficient hotel within walking distance to Gare de Lyon. The room even had a balcony with a view of the clock tower. The staff were very friendly. The lobby had lockers too if you arrive early. The neighborhood was pedestrian friendly with a fair number of restaurants. We were able to walk across the bridge to the Batobus station, Natural History Museum, and more. I would happily stay there again.

Great location, easy and safe walking from the Gare du Lyon and the Seine even late in the evening. Our ground floor room had AC and outside was quiet overnight. The open shower designs takes a little bit to get used to. Kind and helpful staff at the check in.

Great location with regards to proximity to Gare du Lyon, but the area felt uncomfortable at night with child as there are massage parlours, sex shops and other adult facilities nearby. The room was immaculate and full of beautiful period features, can’t fault it inside.

Nice staff clean room. I ended up in room 2 on the ground floor . Nice clean and cosy . Sadly I realised that I could smell a bit of sewage and alert the reception . Nothing major but you need to sleep with bathroom door close . Also during night I had 2 people talking close to my window and started to listen some music . Not fault from the hotel but ground floor is not the best for peace and quiet . Being on business trip all the time I requested a quiet room . The breakfast is lovely with a large choice of good fresh food .

Security was terrible. We were told we had to leave our key when we went out. When we returned it was a different member of staff at the desk who had not seen us before but he did not do any checks of our identity- we just said our room number and he handed us the key. Anyone can walk in and ask for a key without any questions asked. Also when I asked for water I was told it had finished and they tried to charge 2,50€ for a tiny bottle of water! Convenient location and a nice bedroom, but I wouldn’t stay again because of the poor security.

The room is neatly clean, with air conditioning, it's quiet and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Easy accessible from the train station Paris Gare de Lyon. That's a plus! The Palym was such a cute hotel. It was clean and nice. The breakfast was great. The staff was so helpful with all our questions and calling a taxi for us. It was located in a great area. We will for sure stay again.
