The hotel was just across the road from Gare du Nord, so very convenient. However, it was very cramped in communal areas. No kettle provided in room. A spiral staircase up to rooms, or a small lift. Only a tiny side room for use as a ‘lounge’, with kettle, teabags and microwave. We didn’t have breakfast, but could see that it was served downstairs, accessed by small lift and spiral staircase. Our room was fine, with shower room and separate loo. But the room which contained the toilet was tiny - could hardly shut the door!

Steps to Gare du Nord that my room overlooked, the room was quiet and windows seemed sound-proof. Simple room with bed, desk, and private shower; adequate and rate seemed reasonable. Convenient hub to hop on RER and metro; even caught the sunrise at nearby Sacracoeur. Perfect for someone who spends little time in the room and wants a comfortable, simple stay. Will return.

If you are looking for an easy access to everything hotel this is a great hotel. Right across the street from the train station. We trained to Gare de Nord from CDG, and when we left for London, we trained out. The RER B line is so easy to use to get you to almost everywhere or all connection points. Our room was in the inside (not facing the station) and noice was a minimum. Our bed was so comfortable and all linens were white and clean. The room was bigger than many European middle end hotels. Enough space to open a large suitcase on the floor and still walk around it. Extremely friendly staff, lots of restaurant and cafe choices around the hotel for end of night winding down.

Denied us breakfast despite our booking with hotels.com clearly showing that we’d paid for it, I have tried to raise this with hotels.com to no avail so a dispute has now been raised with my bank.
