I left my bag there for 10 days leaving today and I was told there was a fee of four euros per day. I am returning to this hotel in10 days time. This is not noted on the hotel blurb. Very disappointed as if I had known this I would have chosen another hotel. And when I questioned the bag charge, of course it was somebody else’s fault and they or the person on duty could do nothing about it.

On the night of my stay, the elevator was out of service. I’m not sure that it was on the schedule to be repaired. It seemed like it was the norm to drop heavy luggage in the reception area and have staff deliver to the room. I was on 3rd floor. I had to wait the following morning for staff to arrive to bring the luggage down. Fortunately I had booked a train late enough. This location is very convenient to both train stations.

Our family of 5 came for 4 nights to include the prix de l'arc de triomphe horse racing on the sunday. We came on the eurostar so this hotel is just over the road from the gare du nord train station. Check in was quick and efficient. A lovely old parisienne hotel with windy stairs and a small lift. The room is clean, a comfy bed, tv, hairdryer and safe , unfortunately no kettle! Although there is a kettle in the alcove past the reception area with tea and coffee. Breakfast is very basic if you want it. Consisting of different breads, jams, yoghurt and cake and cheese. I have stopped in this hotel 5 times now and didnt have the breakfast this time, instead we went out to have it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is excellent. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from in a very lively area. I love the hotel and will continue to use it

The property is close and convenient to public transportation and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The staff at the hotel are nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and it is worth the price. However the property needs a thorough cleaning. The room was ok but the bathroom was horrendous. It was full of mold. There was mold all on the ceiling and in the shower. I felt cleaner before I took a shower. I will not stay at this property again based strictly on the cleanliness.

What stood out was the staff. They were pleasant. The cleanliness though of the room was poor. The floor was with hair everywhere and crumby so as the bathroom with molds on the silicon. We stayed for 4 nights and the bedsheets were not changed. I love the area though because it is in front of Gare Du Nord.

We have bedbugs in the room and beds , make a complaint to the stuff they don’t do nothing not even change us to other room we stay 3 days it’s horrible and dangerous, if you open the window the mosquitoes come it’s the season but we didn’t open any windows the whole body was bitten for the bedbugs we are 3 people on the room for 3 people we come back home and make appt with the doctors it’s a horrible experience.

Staff was friendly. The location near the Station was great. Surprisingly, it was quiet considering it's next to the Station. I think the double pane windows helped. It would have been nice to have blackout curtains too. The air conditioner worked well. Perfect place for a single person or 2 people staying one or two nights, otherwise, a little small.

I reserved at last minute at new hotel gare du nord across from Eurostar station due to train cancellation late at night…area is seedy…I checked in at hotel and they sent me around the corner to a sister property named Hotel Richmond…rooms are dark and need updating…rooms were clean…as two women checking in I felt I needed to prop chair against door…I texted my kids to let them know where I was staying in case I suddenly disappeared…maybe I watch too many crime shows but this is the vibe I got in this hotel…managers at both properties were very helpful with questions I had…would not stay again unless I were in a bind like I was due to train cancelled…hotel Richmond reminded me of one of those short stay places where women of the night bring customers…

The front desk was rude to say the least. Bathroom had no soap, and my husband went to tell the front desk there was no soap, and literally his response was the dispenser is stuck/broken. We went back to the room to try and fix it, and of course there was no soap. My husband went back down to the front desk to show that there was no soap, and the only response he received was, “ oh, how did you get the dispenser open? And why?” The bathroom has the worst set up, so literally shower and toilet are in same area. What that means is, if you shower the whole toilet and room will get wet. You can poop and shower at the same time if you want. Also is a safety hazard, as right in the line of the shower is the hair dryer..so be weary of where you spray water. I recommend no one stays here though. Shower has and smells like mold, and the entirety of the hotel smells like cigarettes. The hotel is right in front of Gare du Nord, which may be convenient, but it is a dodgy neighborhood that also stinks, and is loud.

It was right near Gard De Norde station which was idea for us. Nice room with good bed and shower. Negative side was tgat o asked twice for another pillow (due to my asthma). On both occasions the reception staff said they would supply me with one but neither did. This I found disappointing as everything else was good with this hotel.

Une expérience très décevante, non pas sur la chambre mais sur la gestion de la clientèle. J'ai appelé l'hôtel pour tenter de décaler mon séjour. Au téléphone, ils ont refusé de traiter ma demande en direct et m'ont imposé de passer par la plateforme de réservation (Hotels.com). J'ai donc suivi leurs instructions, contacté la plateforme, qui a ensuite appelé l'hôtel... pour s'entendre dire que le changement était impossible ! Pourquoi me faire perdre mon temps à contacter le support si c'était pour refuser au final ? C'est un manque de respect total du temps du client, et nous avons fini par perdre notre réservation et notre argent. Une rigidité totale et une communication malhonnête. À éviter si vous cherchez le moindre sens du service.

I was pleasantly surprised for a two star Paris hotel. It seems to have been modernised and the room was clean and comfortable. Major plus is the location opposite Gare du Nord. Very good breakfast in a small but castle like atmosphere in the cellar. Only difficulty was that the lift opened onto the staircase rather than the landing - a problem with heavy cases.

I like the $17 Euro Breakfast downstairs in the dungeon where there’s an actual knight statue in armor plate with a semi-sharp knife) on display :). Very centrally & conveniently located if your taking the Eurostar!

The only upside of this place is that it is literally across the street from the train station. If you arrive late and are catching an early train, like we did, then it might do the trick. The bathroom was clean. The room was shabby and small (the pictures are definitely deceptive and make it looks much better than it is). The lobby smelled of cigarettes and this permeated into our room. Late at night, the neighborhood and entrance to the hotel are seedy. The value, even considering the location, is poorer than average. Would definitely not book again.

Bien en relación calidad precio, se descompuso el grifo y me cambiaron de habitación , lo cual pude darme cuenta que hay habitaciones mejores que otras, la primera no tenia clima y la regadera pegada al sanitario sin cortina ni puerta, en el segundo ya estaba mejor el baño, el desayuno es muy muy básico, mejor desayunar fuera por el mismo precio
