Timhotel Palais Royal

Our room was similar to the pictures, but small. There’s not a lot of room to move about or to have 2 suitcases open on the floor. The faucet in our bathroom was not properly attached and we could not apply makeup in there because of poor lighting. The room was clean, not pristine. They could mount some hooks to hang jackets by the door and I missed an iron for my clothes. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast okay, and cute dining room. I guess what you pay for is the location, walking distance to The Louvre, good restaurants and metro. If you don’t mind walking you could also go to Notre dame and Lafayette.

Very well located and confortable hotel

Staff was very nice and helpful, it was near the Louvre, and within 20 min by tram and walking for basically everything else. It was also very affordable, so the things I’ll list as downsides I kind of think as worth it still. For example, the shower was so small I had to shave my legs standing outside it, and the street was crazy loud even though nothing was open. It felt like it was constant garbage truck type noise. It didn’t bother me, it’s my version of white noise, but I know it would probably bother someone who didn’t grow up under an airport flight path, so I’m mentioning it.

the front desk receptionist acted like i was imposing on her time. zero sensibility for customer service. the room was teeny tiny. my window faced a building wall. it felt like a prison cell. i did everything to avoid being there. i know this is 3star hotel and didnt expect anything crazy but i will not be staying here again. location was good.

Place was clean , very small , but location is perfect , metro 10 minutes walk , so arriving from airport metro is excellent option
