Best Western Hotel Rome Airport

The hotel room we stayed in was very old and out dated. The beds were terrible. The twin beds seemed like rollaways with very thing mattresses and a bar in the middle of your back. There was also a huge window between the bathroom and the rest of the room. While there were shades, you could still see into the bathroom so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. The room didn’t seem well maintained. Also, someone started jackhammering outside our room before 8am. Not worth the price, IMO.

Reviews were good before booking. Reception area was very clean and modern, room itself was old and dated. Dirty carpets and ants crawling around on the bathroom floor.

If you are going to Rome and staying near the airport, go someplace else. The rooms are very dated. The beds are like trampolines so if you have any back issues, don’t plan on being able to walk after your first night. The shower was broken - only the hand held wand worked. The overhead shower head would not work. Also, this was the smallest shower of any in EU I have ever seen. Can’t really even call it a 1 person shower unless you are a 90lb very small person. WiFi did not work half of the time, not even just simple internet. Five minutes for a page to load. Forget streaming. Finally, do not plan on getting any sleep. The airplanes going overhead are your least concern. The walls are made of wet paper. You can hear everything in the other rooms.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Can not rate the breakfast as we did not have it. The pool area looks inviting.

This was not the quality of a Best WEstern. The pool was nice but everything else was poor. Bad linens, not enough linens, bad water pressure and noisy plumbing. It was clean enough but felt very old. The attached restaurant was convenient but I only got coffee.
