Close to airport. Nice location. Poor breakfast and non attentive staff. Couldn’t get a drink at the bar. Directed to go up to rooftop bar but private function going on which was loud and service slow. Had to squeeze around narrow pool deck to sit as other lounge area taken up by private function. Meanwhile downstairs bar empty but staff not wanting to serve? Every time we have stayed rooftop lounge has a private function which means other guests cannot enjoy the amenities offered. We stay once or twice a year when flying out of Rome as well located and Ostia is a bustling place with the fishing boats and a nice evening before a flight.

Very nice hotel with rooftop pool and bar. Very clean. It has indoor parking at a fee. One dislike is the check-in. Cannot drive up to the main entrance to drop the bags and do the check-in. Need to find parking on the street, if any available.

I’d guess you could get a much better breakfast down the street for the 15 euro per person that it cost. There was what looked like mold in the shower. Very uncomfortable bed and only two of the tiniest pillows. Bed had 1 sheet and no blanket. There was a blanket in the closet but had no duvet cover. Shuttle had no A/C. Must have been 30 degrees in it. I would say good enough value for the price/location, however, after adding in the cost of breakfast (which should have just been included for what it was) and the cost of the shuttle per person, the value is not there at all.

The linens were clean and the towels were good. That’s about it. The room was beat up, lamps broken, pictures crooked and broken, broken g gouges in the walls, curtains dirty, vent absolutely filthy. Bathroom smelled of sewage. The restaurant was barely acceptable. We immediately tried to find another location even though it was just for one night. Unfortunately nothing was available. If you need a hotel near the airport try the Hilton at the airport or something further away. Even if you have to get up earlier for your flight you will thank me. We spoke to another couple who were sitting in the lobby as to not have to be in their gross room any longer than absolutely necessary. Avoid this hotel if you’re looking for anything comparable to a Laquinta. It doesn’t even come close.

The shuttle to and from airport was well explained, reliable and prompt. The hotel was in a nice area along the marina/waterway and surrounded by many restaurants. The hotel room was very clean and modern. The hotel grounds were lovely. Pool was not heated and the wind made the rooftop temperature uncomfortably cold. Unfortunately the rooftop bar started to play extremely loud music around 5:00 pm on the Sunday evening. It was so loud our room on the 3rd floor vibrated from the bass. We thought there was a live music event somewhere in the vicinity it was that loud, but when we went to investigate realized it was coming from the hotel rooftop bar. We were told it would stop around 11:00 pm, but in fact it stopped at 9:00 pm. Thank goodness.

The rooms are fairly basic but usually you're there for a night before going to the airport to catch a flight, so that's ok. Room and bathroom were clean. Balcony door opens for some fresh air. Reception staff were friendly. Shuttle service (in the middle of the night, not the usual scheduled one) was prompt, driver was helpful and kind. Good value for money. Plenty of restaurants on the same road. I'd stay there again.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, the check-in staff were openly speaking about us in Italian, assuming we wouldn’t understand (except we do speak Italian...).They treated us like an inconvenience rather than guests, a very rude and unprofessional first impression.. Our room had a major issue: the lights wouldn’t turn off. When I called the front desk, one staff member unhelpfully said, “I’m not sure what to tell you.” After a second call, someone finally came up and told us to remove the key card to cut the power—a completely unrealistic suggestion, as that also shut off the fan and air conditioning. I had to push for a room change just to be able to have a place to sleep without the lights on. Breakfast was another letdown. It was overpriced and poorly managed—the eggs and bacon were cold. When I asked about it, a staff member rolled their eyes and said there was nothing they could do because the outlet wasn’t working. Eventually, a technician plugged the warmer into another outlet. Checkout was just as frustrating. I asked for clarification on charges and was met with eye rolls and refusal to explain anything. Overall, the service was dismissive and unprofessional, the facilities poorly maintained, and the hospitality completely lacking. I would not recommend this hotel.

We used it as it was close to airport. Shuttle to hotel is very difficult, from where to wait (video was little help) and shuttle pickup schedule. But after over an hour getting there and once at hotel all was great. Nice common areas, pool and on site restaurant was quite good The return shuttle in the morning was arranged by hotel and easy.

We stayed one night on our way back from our Italy trip. Left he next morning for the airport. What a relaxing evening. We went up to the rooftop bar with the wonderful view of the river, people fishing from the dock, boats passing by, just so relaxing! The hotel is top notch, and the airport shuttle is spot on. We didn’t try the breakfast, we went out to the local “bar” for coffee and croissants Italian style. The room was immaculate, the wifi perfect, there was a small fridge with two bottles of water, but there was a charge if you took one. I would think they could be free of charge. Other than that little glitch, I would definitely recommend Hotel Tiber

We booked this motel for our last night in Rome to be close to the airport for our very early flight the next morning. We couldn’t have made a better choice. This motel was absolutely awesome. It is right by the sea. Pay the little extra for the view with the balcony! It was so peaceful and clean. It had a restaurant attached with amazing seafood. The bath tub and shower are SO nice! The bathroom was huge and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff spoke English and were very kind and hospitable. They set up a transportation to the airport for you (every 30 minutes) for a fee. My boyfriend forgot his passport in the safe and we called them and the shuttle guy got the passport and brought it to us. We would have missed our 11 hour flight if it were not for this hotel. If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. Thank you!

Picked hotel as the last night of our Italian trip to stay near airport. Had great reviews and overall was not a bad place to stay Pros. Pool was great on a hot day Roof top bar was nice and the bartender (sorry can’t remember his name) was very nice! Shuttle to airport 7euro a person was good Con breakfast bar had flies all over the bread. The bread was in baskets with a towel over the top. When you got near the basket the flies were everywhere. I told staff about it and she said she knew and shrugged and said sorry. She then went on to talk about me in Italian to her coworker. Yep I can understand Italian It was pretty disgusting with all the flies near the other food. I would suggest throwing out the cute wicker baskets and putting bread in a sealed container. We ate dinner the night before in restaurant and had noticed lots of flies and now we know where they came from. The food at dinner was just average and I would recommend eating at one the multiple restaurants down the street

For the cost, the room and amenities was as expected. We had no blanket in our room and could have used it. Breakfast is ok, but the bread was in basket covered with a cloth. When I went to get a piece, about a dozen fruit flies emerged. Otherwise, for a room before departing Rome, was just fine!

If you’re looking for a clean place to relax before flying out of Fiumicino airport this is excellent! Very friendly staff. The shuttle service to and from the airport and the cruise ship port is convenient. Their wellness and spa space is simple but comfortable. €20 for two hours of the space to yourself, the massage chair, sauna and shower and Turkish bath are the perfect way to relax either after a long haul flight or the night before one. The rooftop bar aperitivo was pleasant and the restaurant was great. The rooms are simple but have everything f you would need. Even shampoo and soap (the black things on the wall are soap/shampoo). Will definitely return when I need to stay near the airport before flying out. Made my long haul flight so much more pleasant. Was so relaxed getting to the airport. :)

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport on our final night. We took a Rome taxi for the fixed rate of 55 Euro from the city centre to the airport and then the hotels shuttle service from terminal 3. Room was not ready when we arrived but there are a string of restaurants nearby. Hotel has a rooftop pool but it was simply too hot (no shaded areas) to enjoy. The rooftop bar / lounge had great views, but mostly industrial commercial fishing area. We were in room 419 and we could hear the music from the rooftop lounge, and airplanes overhead. Beds were hard, TV didn’t work.

We only stayed one night. We liked our room. It was clean and spacious enough for one night. The shower worked well and plenty of hot water. We had dinner at the hotel and honestly did not expect much. However, to our surprise, the dinner we ordered was very good. The service was excellent. We had a shuttle service to the airport the next morning for a reasonable price and the bus was on time. Good service.
