Hotel tres proche de la cathedrale de Chartres et du centre ville. Calme, confortable et extrêmement propre. L'accès au parking est sécurisé et payant. Il faudrait d'ailleurs le signaler dans la description initiale de l'hôtel. Ne pas inscrire parking mais parking payant. C'est désagréable de le savoir une fois que la réservation est faite.

Love the location of the hotel. The room was stuffy and we were unable to open a window due to road noise. A bathroom light that clicking on and off constantly and the worst thing was lift noise, especially a large party leaving early and using it constantly

Für eine Nacht war die Unterkunft zweckmäßig. Das gebucht „Comfort-Doppelzimmer“ wird seinem Namen nicht gerecht. Kleines Zimmer, minimale und einfache Ausstattung. Der Aufzug war sehr wackelig und machte komische Geräusche. Auch das angebotene Frühstücks-Buffet war sehr dürftig. Keine Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Aufstrich, Konfitüre etc.

Very uncomfortable beds. There was construction all day when we arrived. No mention of it in hotel description. When you come in from an all night flight from Canada you don't want to hear sledgehammers all day. Staff said they would atop at 4pm. They were still going at it at 6h40pm...cancelled the next two nights and moved to a much better Hotel.

Was a well placed hotel on the outskirts of the old part of Chartres. Room was clean and well appointed. Bathroom clean. Easy to walk (uphill) into town where there are plenty of places to eat. Car park could be better signposted but plenty of space.

The foyer is less than welcoming. But, at the end, you find a pleasant terrace right on the banks of the river Eure. We had to ask for a map of the city, which was provided some time later. We were assigned a room with a connecting door to the neighboring room, which could not be locked from our side. Upon complaining we were, without problems, given another room. Room service had already done the new room, but there was still a used towel in the bath room. Rooms are very small. The walls were painted in rather sombre colors and the design of the flooring a whirling monstrosity. Breakfast was okay, but the music was annoying. On the positive side, we had a view of the cathedral from our room and got there by foot in 13 minutes. Not much noise from within and we could sleep undisturbed with open window. It is reassuring to park the car in the safe hotel parking deck, for a small extra payment. Overall, we would likely come again.

We stayed there for 5 day and did not receive any cleaning service. We had to ask for toilet paper, soap and clean towels. I asked the front desk and he said he will send someone which never arrived. Also, the checkin took 4-5 hours as they could not find our payment. Unacceptable. There was no cosideration or accomadation what so ever.

Sympa et accueillant. Petit souci en arrivant. Les draps n'avaient pas été changés dans la chambre. Sitôt signalé, sitôt changé de chambre. Nickel. Personnel super sympa. Un bémol pour le petit déjeuner. Machine à café d'un côté, distributeur de jus de fruits à l'opposé.... Un jeu de piste au petit déjeuner.... Et devoir rapporter son plateau pour un 3 étoiles..... pas normal

Personnel sympathique. La chambre était spatieuse et propre. Par contre un petit velux et peu de lumière la chambre fait sombre. La douche, le mitigeur passait du chaud au froid et vis versa. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas du coup dur dur de s endormir vu la chaleur. Possibilité de parking bien vu que tout est payant autour. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible. Le personnel bien que disponible semble débordé. Peut-être faudrait t il augmenté le nombre de personne. 20 min d attente pour boire un coup au bar. La personne était débordée à l accueil vu le nombre d arrivée. Le comble de tout, le menage n est pas fait tous les jours. Pas vraiment ce que l on attends du. Hotel.

La chambre etait tres froide malgre le chauffage reglé assez haut. Cuvette des toilettes tachee. Le plus gros probleme etait l’eau chaude de la douche qui variait entre brulante et glacee, rendant ma douche difficile et dangereuse pour ne pas se faire ebouillanter. Petit dejeuner ok, et personnel du petit dejeumer sympatique.

The room was nice, we found that the shower was not working even though there was water in the sink and the toilet, they fixed it while we were out for dinner. The breakfast was very nice.

WiFi is nonexistent in our room. Bedside light not working. Other than that it’s good. We’ve stayed here many times and generally have no issues with it. Location is great.

Super hôtel, personnel accueillant, bon petit déjeuner, bonne pression dans la douche, super belle vue depuis la chambre. Seul bémol c’est la taille de la chambre. On était 2 avec un chien, et on se marchait un peu dessus. Mais pour une nuit c’est pas un énorme problème. Le centre ville avec la cathédrale est super proche. Super rapport qualité prix ! Je recommande

I have stayed at this hotel many times when it was an Ibis. Unfortunately this time it was not so good. On arrival a nice receptionist took our details but a man was hovering around her and watching what she was doing and interfering which I found very unprofessional. There was also work being done above our room and drilling started at 10am which was horrendous and carried on throughout the day. We wanted to rest after a long journey the day before which was impossible so we had to leave our room for some peace and quiet. Also the maid didnt knock and barged opened the door at 8.30 when we were sleeping.

I have stayed at this hotel many times when it was an Ibis. Unfortunately this time it was not so good. On arrival a nice receptionist took our details but a man was hovering around her and watching what she was doing and interfering which I found very unprofessional. There was also work being done above our room and drilling started at 10am which was horrendous and carried on throughout the day. We wanted to rest after a long journey the day before which was impossible so we had to leave our room for some peace and quiet. Also the maid didnt knock and barged opened the door at 8.30 when we were sleeping.

Was a well placed hotel on the outskirts of the old part of Chartres. Room was clean and well appointed. Bathroom clean. Easy to walk (uphill) into town where there are plenty of places to eat. Car park could be better signposted but plenty of space.

- Qu'une prise dans la chambre pour l'ensemble des occupants. Pour charger son téléphone ou ordinateur c'est compliqué. - le petit-déjeuner trop cher pour ce qu'il y avait. En plus pas de restauration le midi.

Personnel sympathique. La chambre était spatieuse et propre. Par contre un petit velux et peu de lumière la chambre fait sombre. La douche, le mitigeur passait du chaud au froid et vis versa. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas du coup dur dur de s endormir vu la chaleur. Possibilité de parking bien vu que tout est payant autour. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible. Le personnel bien que disponible semble débordé. Peut-être faudrait t il augmenté le nombre de personne. 20 min d attente pour boire un coup au bar. La personne était débordée à l accueil vu le nombre d arrivée. Le comble de tout, le menage n est pas fait tous les jours. Pas vraiment ce que l on attends du. Hotel.

Für eine Nacht war die Unterkunft zweckmäßig. Das gebucht „Comfort-Doppelzimmer“ wird seinem Namen nicht gerecht. Kleines Zimmer, minimale und einfache Ausstattung. Der Aufzug war sehr wackelig und machte komische Geräusche. Auch das angebotene Frühstücks-Buffet war sehr dürftig. Keine Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Aufstrich, Konfitüre etc.

Avoid at all costs. Very confused with the 8.2 rating on Hotels.com, please take the negative reviews seriously. From the moment we walked in we thought something wasn’t quite right as there was no one on reception to open the parking gate for us. Eventually a woman appeared at the front desk but seemed preoccupied with talking to her children/family. Not appropriate to have one’s family going behind the reception desk or hanging out at the work place. Our first room in the upper floor had a tiny window with a broken blind, leaving the room in complete darkness with a strong smell of mold. We told reception and they immediately started sorting out another room, didn’t offer an apology or seemed surprised with the issue. New room had an empty hand soap bottle and broken furniture with a piece of wood hanging. Again we told reception but got no reaction or apology. No hand towel in either room Our family also stayed in different rooms with similar issues such as missing door knobs, no hand towel, broken AC, toilet not flushing, low pressure shower and water changing temperature from lukewarm to boiling hot, bedside lights not working and smelly rooms. Exterior/river area dirty with rubbish and rat traps. Taken individually, some of these could be dismissed as insignificant but taken together, they paint a picture that the rooms are not maintained to the standard of a 3-star hotel. We are grateful we stayed one night only and never again at B&B.
