This is our 6th or 7th visit to this hotel, we use it as a stopover before heading further down south each year for our annual holiday The rooms we booked were very clean but showing signs of wear and tear The shower tray in one room had a large crack across the base, so we all used the one in the 2nd room we had booked We specifically asked for ground floor when we booked ( a good 6 months prior ) but still ended up on the first floor. This proved challenging for one of our party who had mobility issues and there is no lift in the hotel. Location wise it suits our needs, but it is clearly in need of some updates We may need to look elsewhere next year if unable to guarantee ground floor rooms
