Very modern, upscale and clean, nice staff, only downside is that they don't have self parking. You are forced to have your car parked by the valet and you are charged $55/night. Overall it is a 4.5/5 for me.

we loved the hotel, it was walking distance to my work meeting. The hotel itself is trendy, modern and very clean. I wish the room service was done faster and a buffet was available for breakfast but other than that it was a very pleasant hotel.

The property varied from the reviews and videos I saw online. The train was loud and woke me up multiple times. I was not given the type of room I reserved, when I said something I was told they could move me the next day which didn't happen. The property smelled like an old basement. There was a moldy orange in the ice machine. Room service trays sat in the hall my entire stay (3 nights). I frequently travel to DC and I will NOT be returning to The Morrow.

The 5 star ratings are misleading. From the moment I walked into my room, I regretted booking a stay at the hotel. Pros: The staff was friendly and welcoming. Cons: Dirty elevators, sticky floors, and no face towels in the room. I couldn't wait to leave and was very disappointed with my experience.

We stayed in a suite and it was very nice, modern, and clean. Shower was huge. Only downfall is that I think it’s weird I’m paying all this money for a suite and there is no microwave or mini fridge. There was a wet bar and it was warm. We notified the front desk and they gave us a mini fridge along with chocolates & sleeping masks. Bed also wasn’t the comfiest. Rooftop bar was a cool vibe.

Very nice room; everything seemed new; large TV and a great expresso maker. I would definitely stay here again when I go to DC. Area around the hotel is very walkable and close enough to tourist sites.

Despite being a beautiful property and room, the bed and pillows (which is ultimately the entire reason for having a hotel room) were horrifically uncomfortable. I have stayed in some pretty low-priced motels and this hotel's bed and pillows are absolutely the worst I have ever slept - or tried to - sleep on. I could not wait to get home and out of this hotel and it's insulting how much we are charged for sleeping there. The room was not very clean - sticky floors, robe had a blood stain and hairs on it and was not replaced. The staff was nice enough and the location itself was fantastic being only a 1 minute walk from the Metro Station. If they had only gone with something resembling a normal mattress/pillow combination my review would be better. Other factors: was able to get the room chilly enough, so AC was decent. Noise: I could hear people shuffling papers and eating in the room next door, walls are thin. Fitness center: a mixed bag of random free weights, a really terrible leg press, and a bunch of Pelotons and treadmills. On site restaurant: Was not a fan, heavy overpriced French food with unhelpful staff.

It’s a very nicely designed hotel, but it was about the loudest night. I’ve spent in the hotel for a long time. First of all, there was a great deal of talking and tv noise from the adjoining room, walls seemed paper thin, especially where there is one of those bolted doors in between rooms. Also, they built this hotel next to the train track. The trains will start with bells and engines and horns at 5 AM and not soundproofing the windows, that’s borderline criminal in my view. They should disclose that and give you ear plugs.

Rooms are clean and pretty, with lots of storage space for clothes. Would have been preferred a desk or working space in the room - there was only a small round table and two chairs that were more suited for putting shoes on that for working. Otherwise great hotel.

This was my second stay at this property. I originally booked an airbnb for this visit because we needed to be in a different area of Capitol Hill, but we ended up needing to move out of those accommodations and I knew that The Morrow would not disappoint - and I was right. My last visit was shortly after its opening, and the common areas have worn a bit, but the staff is so outstanding. I wish I'd made a note of everyone's name, but Bethlehem in particular was a standout.

Customer service was very slow. I ordered a cart for my luggage it never came, I ordered a menu for room aervice it came after an hour, I asked for my receipt and she said it will be aent via email. Just not good service

Beautiful hotel and great staff! The only issue was that we paid for an upgraded room and didn’t receive that room. Due to the rooms being full, the hotel manager provided us with a $50 voucher to cover the difference. They made it work!

I loved my 4-night stay! The hotel has a nice vibe - it’s immaculate and welcoming. Housekeeping did an amazing job in keeping my room in perfect condition. Anna, one of the managers, had extra water sent to my room as soon as I told her that I needed more. My only complaint was that when I requested to stay an extra night and be offered the lowest rate, it turned out that it wasn’t, so I found a better price on my own. Other than that, I would highly recommend The Morrow.

I loved the cleanliness and esthetics of the property. The room and bathroom were both spacious! I don’t like valet parking, just my personal opinion! Bethlehem, the lady who checked me in and out was excellent! Great customer service and went above and beyond for me! I loved the le Labo bath products, best hotel toiletry ever!!!!

It was our Anniversary which I informed the hotel of prior to arrival. Unlike most hotels, there would be a banner on the door or a complimentary bottle of champagne; this hotel offered nothing, not even a “Happy Anniversary. The front desk staff was not accommodating at all. I forgot my toothpaste and called the desk to see if they had any available. They did, but stated we would have to come down to the desk to get it. The same thing happened on the day we checked out. We were locked out of our room and I luggage was still in there. We called the front desk to ask if someone could bring a key up to open the door; we were told the same thing-you’ll have to come down to the desk to get it. For the price of this hotel, the customer service is mediocre at best.

Very conveniently located. Galludet Metro stop right there. Biking, walking opttions, nice neighborhood We probably should have insisted on an upper.floor room. Third floor very close to train tracks=noisy night. We were also by the elevator, which also led to a noisy night

The hotel is in an excellent location, one block walk from the DC metro station. The neighborhood is NOMA, a gentrified area with shops, restaurants, and newer residential buildings, but still not too crowded or loud at night or weekends. Had an amazing stay here for a work trip. Loved how nice the rooms were -- very spacious with nice decor/furniture and kept up super well, and were also nice and quiet. The location is awesome -- nice to be right near Union Market while also having the metro stop just a few steps away. Definitely recommend staying here, and will likely be staying again next time I'm in town!

This is a newly gentrifying area of DC (according to a 30 year resident I spoke with). While the area is nice it is off the beaten path to access the main DC area. Ubers back late at night were $45 from the White House area. The Hotel is right on the tracks (Amtrac and Redline). be prepared for train whistles and rumbling.

The hotel itself was great. Very clean, very modern. Front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. My only concern/complaint was the food services. Not a very kid friendly menu at the rooftop restaurant and the room service breakfast we ordered was not good at all. Both breakfast sandwich’s were not made correctly and the bagel was as hard as a rock. For the cost of the food, I expected a lot more. The management did resolve both issues and were very attentive. This minor hiccup would be no reason to not stay there again. Overall great experience.

The hotel was fine and comfortable. The breakfast was awful. We couldn’t pre order breakfast for the morning. Then the avocado toast showed up 45 min late and we nearly missed our train. Oh and two orders of avo toast was over 100$ and incorrect. I was double booked by the Expedia app and charged 580$ twice. When I complained of this, they returned 100$ of it. Expedia cremated me 30$ a day for “resort fee” then the hotel did the same thing when I checked out. That’s another 240$ on top of the 1100$ that should have totaled less than 600$.

Great Location! We loved the rooftop restaurant at night with the beautiful view! It is right next to the metro which was very convenient. The breakfast was a la carte and did not have many options for gluten free. But it was good. The only disappointment was that it was our child’s 18th birthday and we were expecting something special for her, like maybe a note or balloon from the hotel. When we mentioned they said they don’t usually do that. They mentioned they could look into an upgrade but later said that they didn’t have any opening. Inspite of having a conversation earlier with them on how this was off season and they were not so occupied. Lastly, Loved the proximity to great eateries! Will come back again!

Friday is Steak & Frites night. Make sure you go. It was phenomenal. The food & vibe were amazing. The rooftop has beautiful views of the city and the food and drinks are noteworthy. One of the concierges, Jahan, was always available when needed. The hotel rooms were truly clean.
