Oltre ogni aspettativa, la nostra stanza che dava sul giardino aveva una meravigliosa vista sul mare e Santa Margherita, l’hotel immerso nel verde ci ha esclusi dai rumori e dalla folla, una bellissima spiaggia privata e ristoranti dove abbiamo potuto godere di una splendida colazione con vista , a pranzo invece abbiamo preferito il bar in spiaggia. Our stay at Hotel Continental was absolutely outstanding. We were fortunate to stay on the third floor with an incredible large balcony with a beautiful view. The hotel is beautiful. Bra hotell med väldigt fint läge. God frukost som kunde intas på terrassen. Egen parkering, dock dyr. Eftersom vi var där i lågsäsong var solstolarna gratis, annars tillkommer kostnad även för dessa. Nära ner till stan och båtar till andra byar. Trevlig men ganska passiv personal. Kan tänka mig att återkomma.

Had a good stay at a place which delivered what you'd expect. Hotel is 50's-chiq in this typical Italy riviera style, so not modern but also not worn-down. Clean and well taken-care of. Very service minded staff although not so smiley as they were last time (which we like when they are). These were more serious but very service-minded. Breakfast setting amazing with the view but breakfast content a bit of a disappointment. We had a better one at the place we stay at the nights before at less than half the price. No egg station, few bread options and not a lot of fresh fruit (just melon, apple etc.). View and location are the big pluses and price + the fact parking is not included in such a price is just a mistake. (Who arrives to Santa Margherita without a car? Then include parking in the price).

Property is old and need of an upgrade. The room was very small, toilet and phone did not work, water pressure was awful, and apparently the spa is undergoing renovations, something that was not disclosed. The balcony is big and and the view amazing but overall I would say there are better places to stay in Santa Margherita

The staff at this property was amazing!! We travelled with our son and his family of 5. Children ranging 7mths to 4 years old. Antonio the waiter and Luigina the maître d’ went above and beyond to ensure that the children ate what they wanted (not on menu) and were so helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I cannot say enough positive things about this property! Highly recommend it!

The Hotel Continental was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were comfortable with a large patio facing the water. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. My friend and I ate at the bar that evening and the food was tasty. The Hotel Continental was well-located for walks into town, as well as to Portofino and Rapallo. Finally, the staff were delightful - friendly and helpful. Sadly, we did not have time to use the brand new spa. Next time! I highly recommend the Hotel Continental.

Horrible customer service. This was our sixth time staying at the hotel within 2 years and it was my birthday. The hotel did not provide any gift upon my arrival. We had asked for a late checkout at 1pm instead of 11am three times before arrival but they did not respond. There was a big thunderstorm the day before our arrival and our flight was delayed. I had asked for a refund but they waited unusually long, almost a day, to get back to me with a No. On the checkout day, they called our room 3 times to strongly remind us to checkout. This is the experience that we received after paying €450 per night. One of their receptionists was also extremely rude to me on the phone and when I went for breakfast, he didn’t greet good morning like how he did with other guests. The room was nice but basic. They don’t have hair shampoo and conditioner (only combined hair and body gel). The private beach was nice but Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel was very weak. Well sadly not be coming back.
