Ellerslie Palms Motel

Unfortunately our stay at Ellerslie Palms Motel was disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned - the floor had clearly not been vacuumed and there were cobwebs in the corners of the room. The air conditioning unit was also leaking down the wall, which made the room feel poorly maintained. It was also surprising to find there are no staff on site at all, with the motel completely remotely managed. While remote check-in can work well, it does make it difficult to address issues when the room itself isn’t up to standard. Overall the room felt neglected and well below the level of cleanliness and upkeep you would expect when booking accommodation.

All is okay, except for the delay in checkIn,

The facilities were good and the room was fine. However, the customer service needs improvement. There was no staff at the reception, and although we called the contact number, the response was very slow. Our request to replace the stained towel and broken electric kettle was not addressed.

Room was very clean and tidy. The Toilet seat is quite loose. We were expecting a hot plate but there was none in the unit to heat breakfast on.

Check in was odd - didn't realise you had to call a number to be given a code to a lockbox with room key in it. Room was clean, although could do with a spring clean. Room was quiet and away from the road and spacious. Was close to Greenlane for our event. Would stay again. Thank you
