Séjour parfait! Gros bémol sur les chambres et les parties communes non climatisées Très proche de la rue des martyrs et de Montmartre !

Old hotel, avoid particularly in summer as there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Tiny elevator, fits only one person and one piece of luggage. Pros: good room size and location.

Achei o hotel muito legal , não tem muitos serviços além do quarto , mas o quarto em si estava sempre limpo e muito funcional , ficamos com nossos 2 filhos e achei perto de tudo ! Bem perto do hotel tinha um local muito interessante para tomar café da manhã … gostei bastante . O ponto negativo era que não tinha elevador (o que tem é bem pequeno cabe 2 pessoas e ele é bem antigo) mas achei charmoso ! Não tem ar condicionado então acho que para o verão fica bem complicado , como fomos no inverno foi muito bom

Charming. An older hotel with a good eye for unique decore. The 2 person elevator was a real treat, and a tight squeeze, but that was part of the charm. We were looking for non-American experiences in Paris, and this hotel did not disappoint. Red and black walls in the room were an adjustment but quite stunning, and the lack of a shower curtain, as we found with all of the hotels we stayed in Paris, Normandy, and the Loire Valley, took some getting used to. Perhaps its a French thing?

Paris was unfortunately having a heatwave when we visited. With no AC, the nights on the 5th floor were really hot. The hotel did provide a large fan that helped tremendously. We loved the history and location of this hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay at this historic hotel where Louis Armstrong once lived. I loved the glam decor with black woodwork, photos of models, feathered lamps and red walls...Ooh la la! Walking distance from Montmartre, bars and restaurants. Historic elevator is very cool but it holds one person or one suitcase. Plan to use the stairs and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this place!

beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. walking distance from gare du nord where the eurostar came in and walking distance to montmatre with lots of great cafes and shops close by. the hotel has a great stylised interior with a quaint small old-fashioned lift to the 4th floor - we stayed in room 41 - 2 adults and 2 kids. and we’re really comfortable. staff were helpful. the area is very quiet and calm and a welcome respite from the hustle of Paris.

Lilly in reception was awesome and helped us. The property is old and the lift is only 1ft x 3ft but I like stairs. The rooms are spacious, TV did not work but every thing was clean and comfortable. We had ipads and WIFI worked fine. NOT - the lighting in the room is not great so bring a torch.

The room itself was quite dated, but its a neat hotel with a lot of history in a good area. The bathrooms were recently redone and very nice, and while the listing mentions no elevator, an original-to-the-building lift was great to get our bags to and from the room. It's definitely quite a walk from any transit, but there is a great selection of restaurants, bakeries and cafés nearby.

Very nice hotel, our room was perfect for our needs with two children. Large clean renovated bathroom with a tube. Rooms were nit renovated for a while but were big and well distributed. There was a teapot to make tea. The room windows were towards the yard so extremely quite. The building is a nice historical house where Luis Armstrong lived in the 30s. Walkable distance to palais Garnier. And we even walked from Marais (about 2,7 km).

For my first trip to Paris, my husband and I wanted to stay in a unique boutique hotel with character rather than a chain hotel. Based on cost and availability, the Alba Opera fulfilled the brief. The GOOD: Staff was cordial and accommodating. The room was sizable compared to our experiences in European boutique hotels (our room featured a main bedroom, side room with a twin bed and sitting area, and a small balcony). Parisian features--balcony, decor, and tiny elevator--were charming, and cheeky. The bed was very comfortable. The huge bathroom was updated with surprisingly modern subway tile. The BAD: The room's dark, rich color palette was great during the day when natural light was prevalent, but difficult at night when combined with the dim lighting. While we appreciated the wabi sabi decor, the room furniture was very worn and dilapidated--and not in a shabby chic way. The small cabinet had missing knobs and trim, the paint and wallpaper were peeling. The hotel could really use a refresh. The room was dirty; old pizza crust and hair found in the dresser drawer. The plastic cups were dirty and unusable. Lighting did not work consistently. There was no iron or steamer in the room, which meant a daily unkempt trot downstairs to borrow one (which worked intermittently). Hairdryers were provided, so why not small irons? Overall ok, but I will not stay here again. Rating of 6 out of 10.

Alba opera hotel is a small boutique hotel with a beautiful Parisian decor and very vintage looking. Super cool lobby with fun wall decors and the tiniest elevator. Adorable!! i booked a room for one traveler( female) my room was super tiny but the cutest!! I’m very picky snd always travel with my own pillowcase and towels but no need, everything is very neat and clean. The pillow was very soft that’s my only complaint, Other than that everything else was wonderful! Also, thank you to the young lady at the reception desk in the morning both on 1/4 and 1/5, very friendly, sweet and knowledgeable. Thank you for everything, I absolutely enjoyed my stay at your hotel :)

Very close to station which made it very easy to get around. Staff were very kind and helpful - we weren’t going to the airport till later and they let us keep our bags there while we went sight seeing. There was very little lighting on the stairs which made it quite hard to see. Rooms were very clean. Overall excellent hotel in an excellent location.

Déception à notre arrivée quant à l'état de la chambre. Les photos diffusées sur le site ne correspondent pas du tout à l'état de vétustédu mobilier. Nous avons retrouvé des cheveux sur le mur de la baignoire. La table et les chaises s'écaillent. Des photos suggestives aux murs de la chambre en présence d'enfants. Un canapé clic clac alors que nous avions réservé deux grands lits. Le personnel d'accueil lors de notre arrivée à été exécrable. Nous avons requis le remboursement et l'annulation suite à cette déception inattendue. Nous étions face à un chantage. Nous avons eu pour seule réponse soit de quitter l'hôtel immédiatement avec une retenue sur la première nuit soit de rester et de subir ce désagrément.

Kult, men kanskje ikke det mest praktiske stedet, avhengig av hvem som reiser. Mikroskopisk heis, der knapt én person med bagasje får plass, men veldig sjarmerende. Ok standard på rom, men dårlig trykk og varierende temperatur i dusjen (6.etasje). Personalet var hyggelige nok, men bare passe interessert i service. God seng og deilig med vifte på rommet. 6-7 minutter å gå til Anvers t-banestasjon og kort vei til Sacre Cœur og Montmartre.

Wonderful location. Very large hotel rooms by European standards. Very cool vibe as well.

Nice room, we paid for an upgrade and it was well worth the price. The streetview was charming and hotel has a little funky mod vibe. Dont expect luxury but the bed and bathroom were good and the towels were superb. Front desk was pleasant and responsive. Great access to a lively neighborhood. Only 10 minute walk to great shopping. We'd book again.

We loved the Alba Le Opera, great location, great staff, clean rooms, but the only item below average was the bed pillows. The pillows were too small, and too few.

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Lage war gut mit vielen Cafés und Restaurants. Leider waren die Möbel schon sehr abgenutzt und die Betten haben bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung sehr Laut geknirscht. Außerdem haben die Stufen im Treppenhaus super laute Geräusche gemacht. Wenn man Lärm vermeiden will, sollte man ganz oben schlafen.

Hôtel dans un vieux bâtiment historique, ce qui n'enlève rien à son charme. L'accueil est très sympathique et serviable. Le seul bémol est la taille vraiment très petite de la chambre qui m'était attribuée au 6 ème étage. Le quartier est calme et proche de nombreuses commodités. A recommander, avec une chambre un peu plus spacieuse.

An absolutely wonderful boutique hotel in the perfect location. Walked everywhere from the Alba. Our room overlooked the main Rue. Experienced a heatwave while we were there so the additional fan was really appreciated. Staff were friendly. The proprietor even lent us his personal umbrella on the one morning it rained. Absolute certainty we would rebook at the Alba Opera.

Cuando llegamos he preguntado si el desayuno estaba incluido en el precio pues es lo que habíamos comprado en el paquete la chica muy atenta nos explicó que si efectivamente el desayuno estaba incluido y resulta que el día que avandonamos el Hotel pues no cobraron 60€ por los 2 días de desayu no que habíamosconsumido

After looking at the hotels.com pictures and booking the 3 star hotel based on her friends experience 10+ years ago, my wife was disappointed in many of the aspects of this hotel experience. Booking an executive room you expect a certainly level of standard and although clean and area itself nice, the room was closer to 1 star with no wardrobe or desk and 2 very small beds. A nice view from balcony and very clean but just not comfortable or the standard we would expect for the price paid. No wardrobe just a rail to hand clothes and the bathroom door would not close so period features are fine but they still need to work. The Hotels.com description mentioned a kettle but when asked at reception they were very rudely told we dont do that. Asked for additional pillows and also a rude NO answered and it was very hot in the room and surprise - NO to fans available as well. If you want clean and a nice area as well as 1 star service for 3 star price then this may be for you but definitely disappointing trip for not only my wife but her friends memories from 10+ years ago.

Liked the quirkiness of the decor, however the predominant use if the Adult magazine 'Lui' throughout the property made me think if it was a 'family-friendly' hotel after all ! The night staff was super amazing who brought the cake exactly at midnight as requested for my wife's birthday. Really appreciate. However, overall I found their staff to be unfriendly, rude at sometimes and needed sine training in customer service for sure.

Very nice place, quiet location in a dead end street, very nice and helpfull staff. In the middle of Montmartre, all nice places are on a walking distance, just a 15 minute walk to the Grand Magasins. We didn't use public transport so can't tell if stations were close etc. Good value for money

We absolutely loved our stay at the Alba Opera Hotel. It is the most beautiful place we stayed and we found it very comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very friendly , patient and helpful. It was our last 5 days before leaving Paris and Europe so we were tired, a couple of us not feeling well, and sad! But this hotel was the perfect end to a fabulous journey and we appreciated so much the lovely coffee and croissants in the charming dining room. Beautiful atmosphere. The neighborhood has loads of great places to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Great character hotel, within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and Gare du Nord.

Passade perfekt för min vistelse, inte superstort rum men det är inget jag behöver. Bra frukost (väldigt fransk) och personal 24/7. Jag kunde även lämna mitt bagage i några timmar efter ut-check. Detta var min första solo-resa och jag valde ett mycket bra hotell för detta :)

It was our last 5 days before leaving Paris and Europe so we were tired, a couple of us not feeling well, and sad! But this hotel was the perfect end to a fabulous journey and we appreciated so much the lovely coffee and croissants in the charming dining room. Beautiful atmosphere. Un petit bijou au calme au coeur de Paris. Beaucoup de charme dans ce petit hôtel, avec un coup de coeur pour l'ascenseur d'époque. L'acceuil est chaleureux, le petit déjeuner délicieux, les chambres spacieuses. Les moquettes, la déco, le mobilier vous raconte histoire du lieu. Bref, un jolie découverte et l'un de mes trois hôtels préférés a paris

Mycket trevligt litet hotell till bra pris. Parkering fanns utanför gatan gratis men bara nattetid efter 21-09. Ingen frukost, men däremot en trevlig och prisvärd bar på hörnet.

Haus mit Geschichte und schön eingerichtet. Liegt ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Erst hieß es, wir könnten jederzeit frühstücken, dann war es um 12.30 Uhr laut der Mitarbeiterin doch zu spät. Wir haben es aber noch bekommen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Jag trivdes väldigt bra på detta hotell. Litet och personligt med bra läge. En stor fördel var också att jag hade fönster in mot en gård vilket gjorde att det var relativt tyst från gatorna, inte en självklarhet i Frankrike. Frukosten var inte prisvärd utifrån sitt innehåll, men med undantag för den skulle jag med lätthet bo här igen.

Dark dark dark. 3 people at the front desk are nice enough. but need more training in customer service! Not enough light in room not enough access to electricity carpet took old an dingy coffee pot and cups but no coffee or tea No electrical plugs by the bedside Worst toilet paper I’ve ever seen Out of date elevator- tiny. The door did not self-close…you had to manually close to send it back down. Sadly, 75% of the time people used and did not return accordingly 1 small lamp in the room , 2 over the bed They say it used to be a brothel and want to make homage to that- which is not what discerning clientele are looking for The worst deception is the use of the word OPERA Let’s be clear- it is 100% not near the world famous opera It is closer to Piaglle then the opera Other issues include the room do not look like the pictures on line-ex… out room on line shows 4 pillows on the bed….we only had 2 They say there’s a restaurant on premises, which I looked for and never saw. The info material in our room actually stated that we could get but they would order from a local place
