Hôtel Hélios Opéra

Booked a superior room a month in advance for my birthday trip. Got there and was given a disabled room right by the entrance and next to the bar, communal area and the reception (and overlooking the main street). Asked if they had any other rooms.. "Sorry we're full". They could atleast have warned that the room will be on the ground floor and expect noise but they didn't bother ofcourse. The bar area got busy sometimes and guests were loud and often had some on loud video calls. All throughout the night all we kept hearing is the buzzer being pressed for late guests coming in through the night because they don't have a card entry system so you have to press a buzzer for reception to let guests in. Never staying here and if you do decide to stay, make sure you don't get the ground floor rooms - they are noisy. Also, in the night the room on ground floor facing the street has a street light right opposite so any tiny gap in the curtains will mean a fairly bright room in the night.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very close to transit and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was small, which we expected but it was comfortable. Bathroom was good. Hotel also has a small elevator.

We stayed for a long weekend as we attended two concerts at L’Olympia — easy walking distance from the hotel. We booked the deluxe room with a balcony and it did not disappoint. We went out to get breakfast in the morning and bring it back to eat there. The room was an adequate size (especially for Paris). Big wardrobe with a fridge inside (we were happy to have this). The bed was comfortable. We had a coffee machine and cups. And we appreciated the two bottles of water that were replenished daily. The bathroom was light and clean. Definitely newly renovated. I appreciated the attention to detail by the cleaning staff. I had taken a few tissues, and after housekeeping had been there, I noticed that they had folded the ends of the first tissue into a triangle. What attention to detail! We needed eating utensils for the food we brought back and the staff were kind to lend us utensils from their restaurant. We were happy to have an elevator as our room was on the 5th floor. We took the stairs once, and then laughed and said we’d take the elevator next time. The elevator has room for about 2 people and a little luggage. Lovely hotel. Very helpful, warm, and kind staff. Great location — by Galeries Lafayette (don’t miss their gourmet food court), easy walk to Montmantre/Sacré-Cœur, not too far to walk to the Seine and all the sightseeing along there. We only took the metro when we went to/from the airport. All in all a wonderful visit and we hope to be back soon!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in the Opera area of Central Paris. Nicely decorated public area with free coffee for doing some work on laptop. The room I had was rather small even though it’s supposedly not the smallest type. Okay for one person but would be a bit squeezed for two. But alas, most hotels in Central Paris are like that.

Localização excelente, a duas quadras de diferentes linhas de metrô, ao lado da Galeria Lafayette. Café da manhã muito bom, e duas gentilezas fazem extrema diferença para o turista: 1. Eles deixam croissants e café disponível por toda a tarde para que possamos nos servir ao sair ou chegar; 2. Eles possuem um filtro com agua gelada gratuita para os hospedes. Os quartos são compactos mas muito confortáveis e banheiro muito bom. Um destaque para a Marcella, gerente do hotel extremamente simpatica, fala Portugues, Frances e Italiano, nos ajudou em tudo, extremamente atenciosa, nos deixou a vontade e nos ajudou em tudo o que precisamos. Excelente profissional!

LImpio, lindo, bien ubicado, excelente trato del personal, lo unico es que el ascensor llega solo hasta el 5 piso y me toco en el 6

La habitacion limpia y muy comoda, las instalaciones en general bien. El desayuno basico pero bien, se agradece el cafe/ té y pancitos que ofrecen en la entrada. Centrico - Cerca de estacion de metro y de la Opera. Todo el personal muy amable, se agradece la atencion especialmente de Raquel (recepcion) quien en todo momento nos orientó, y en español 🙂. Es la segunda vez q me hospedo ahi y sin duda volveria a hacerlo

This is a really good hotel in a good location. The staff are nice and the breakfast is very good. Our room was very small and the "queen bed" was actually a double. No bedside tables. Croissants in lobby most of the time. Good wifi.

Personalen i receptionen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten var otroligt bra för att vara i Paris. Det fanns allt man kunde önska, även glutenfritt bröd om man frågade efter det. Jättegod äggröra, bland de godaste jag har ätit. Trevligt också med lite presenter på rummet. Det enda som var lite dåligt var att städningen uteblev en av tre dagar, trots att resten av korridoren/hotellet tydligen fått städning. Jag påpekade för receptionen samt städerskan, som då kom strax efteråt, men bara tänkte bädda sängen. Vi hade ställt fram den fulla papperskorgen och smutsiga glas/koppar men dessa gick hon bara förbi så jag fick säga till extra igen. Det hade även varit bra med några extra krokar i badrummet, för handdukar etc. De på baksidan av dörren räckte inte till. Annars var allt toppen! Jättesköna sängar och kuddar, tyst i rummet och lugn gata som hotellet låg på. Jättebra schampoo i duschen. Gratis dricksvatten, te och kaffe på rummet, samt gratis värdefack och litet kylskåp. Även toppen med morgonrockar på rummet.

Each day when I returned to my hotel room I found cigarette butts and cigarette ash in the bed. After alerting the hotel reception their response was “sorry the cleaners have now gone home” and “none of the cleaning staff smoke”. Quite honestly disgusting. Me and my two year old had no option other than sleep in the dirty bed.

The room was great. It was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too, lots of options to have.

Room was small for 3 adults. Good for 2 adults. We found black hair in the sink, on the bed and towels and pulled one from the wall. The toilet wreaked of urine. TV didn’t work but was fixed quickly. Handheld showerhead would not stay in place. Staff was pleasant. Food was cold but ok.

Endroit parfait pour mon déplacement pro. Juste à côté de mon rdv, accueil de qualité. Propreté irréprochable. Bien équipé (machine à café, peignoir, baignoire) et chambre au calme (aucun bruit de la rue). Petit déjeuner de qualité. Je reviendrais forcément!

施設はよくメンテナンスされており、清潔快適に過ごせました。スタッフの皆さんも気さくで感じが良かったです。滞在中は大変お世話になりまして有難うございました。

Nice small hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Able to walk anywhere from here. On a side street so very quiet at night. I will say here again.

La chambre est spacieuse, bien décorée, agréable, silencieuse. Le lit est très confortable. Dans la salle bain, les produits Nuxe sont un vrai bonheur et la machine à café propose aussi du réconfort de qualité. L'ensemble du personnel est bienveillant. Mais je note un bémol facile à corriger : la qualité des œufs brouillés au petit déjeuner trop secs et l'impossibilité de réchauffer les crêpes et pancakes. Une des employés était particulièrement suspicieuse et déjeuner sous son regard trop vigilent (et pour rien si ce n'est pour gêner le repas) n'était pas forcément utile. Plus de discrétion aurait été bienvenu. L'hôtel particulièrement bien situé, beau et confortable reste une expérience très positive que je renouvellerai sans aucun doute.

The experience was less than desirable won’t be coming here again. Not only use the bed up against the wall, which does not allow for you to get in and out comfortably. But as soon as you check in the staff is very unfriendly and irritated that you even show up. The construction noise made it. Awful to sleep. We barely got any sleep at all on top of that. The bed is up against the wall, so we literally had to climb on top of each other to use the restroom.

Really nice hotel near Saint Lazare station. Near lots of transport options and walking distance of lots of places you'll probably want to go. Area around the hotel felt safe, and there were a few cafes and restaurants within 5 minute or less walk. The hotel itself was nice, quiet, and clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but had everything you need. Breakfast was nice, compact selection but options for sure. Definitely recommend :)

Staff were generally lovely, location great. Had a weird incident with a lady at breakfast who insisted that my wife wasn't allowed to take a coffee up to our room until she had poured it into a different cup, which was almost identical to the original cup, but that wasn't terrible, just weird. Only problem was that the room was *far* too hot, and apparently the air-con couldn't cool, only heat. If we had been on a higher floor we could have left the window open, but we were on the 1st floor, and there's a walkway connecting all the rooms windows at that level, so wasn't safe to leave it open while we were out. (I don't know if all the rooms are that hot or if we were on top of heating vents or something. Avoid room 104 anyway) Otherwise, really nice!

A very nice hotel. one little downside, however, is that the building seems to be renovated from a building with some history, and the floor seems to be a little bit tilted (not flat), but it's bearable, just need a few minutes adjustment

Stayed for business for 4 nights at the end of October. Positives: It was within a few metres from the office so very convenient and really well situated for shopping/opera/jogging to the Louvre and Tuilieries gardens too. Galeries Lafayette is just around the corner too. Breakfast was included in my rate and there was a selection of fruit, yoghurts, mini pastries, juices, coffees etc. I didn't have any of the hot options but this seemed to be a little more limited. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. Negatives were the room temperature - it was super hot despite us staying in October and we weren't able to control the temperature ourselves. I did mention this to reception - as there is seemingly a heater in the wardrobe too - but they didn't give any feedback to help / suggest alternatives. The heater might be great for getting the creases out of your clothes, but not for sleeping. I'd also asked if there was a possibility of changing to a bath vs. shower room (at any point during the stay( on check-in and was told there wasn't (though two of my colleagues checking in the next day) did have baths in their rooms and same room type so don't think this was strictly true.

Todos os empregados do hotel foram sempre muito simpáticos, educados e prestativos. Café da manhã muito bom. Tranquilo e silencioso. Bom isolamento acústico. Com certeza recomendo.

Great location. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to several metros and walkable . Nice vibe.

Lovely place. Close to the train station, multiple metro lines, shopping, a couple of miles walking from all major attractions. Hotel is just around the corner from the major street, so it is quiet. Try to get a higher floor room with the Patio. Nothing better than having breakfast on the patio overlooking the street. The staff are extremely helpful and nice. Make you feel like you are at a 5 stars hotels.

Solo pasé una noche, pero lo recomendaria, buena ubicacion a cinco minutos de galerias Lafayette y de la Opera Garnier, limpio, tranquilo, me agradó que en recepcion hablan en español. Sin dudas volveria a hospedarme en este hotel

Really nice hotel near Saint Lazare station. Near lots of transport options and walking distance of lots of places you'll probably want to go. Area around the hotel felt safe, and there were a few cafes and restaurants within 5 minute or less walk. The hotel itself was nice, quiet, and clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but had everything you need. Breakfast was nice, compact selection but options for sure. Definitely recommend :)

Good stay - room small (as expected for Paris) but room was comfortable for our needs. Easy to walk from Gare du Nord & great location for sightseeing. Breakfast was average in the morning and had to ask for certain refills from staff.

Property was great, central with friendly staff. The only negative was that the rooms are a little small and the breakfast was limited and not looked over and refilled.
