Book the hotel, for two, for a Yankees game. It was about a 30-minute commute to the game. Next time will book something closer. There is no parking lot with this hotel, it's street parking, and unfortunately we got a parking ticket. Breakfast was a great continental breakfast. First day of check-in front desk wasn't very helpful, second day different employee was helpful.

This is not an easy place to get to in New York and is a nightmare if you drive for there is only on the street parking. The neighborhood is noisy because of the Hospital across the street which also contributes to the lack of parking spaces. The room has a restricted TV option (no cable or satellite channels) and the shower did not have enough hot water.

The room was small but fine. The check-in process was a little slow. The big problem was that the shower did not have hot water. Even after 10+ minutes the water did not get any better than just "warm" or maybe even "lukewarm".

I stayed here with my gf for 3 nights. Upon arrival every time an order would be placed to meet the person in the lobby the staff at the front would just send them to my room. I found out on the last day this was not suppose to happen. The floors of the hotel room outside of the bathroom was filthy and covered with dirt. And on our last day, the elevator was out of service for well over seven hours, forcing me and my girlfriend to have to carry all of our luggage down seven flights of stairs just to check out because staffing had no ETA on when they would fix the elevator. Overall, I would not stay at this property again. I read reviews online talking about the elevators, having consistent issues and thought perhaps that was a fluke or just a one off thing it would seem that what people are saying online regarding it is true.

The carpet in the hallway outside room had not been vacuumed before we arrived nor the 3 days we were there. (A tag was there entire time, along with dirt.) Upon arrival, hair on floor of bathroom. (I cleaned myself. Gross.) Bed and shower seemed clean.

Terrible! I stayed three nights and my room was never cleaned! Bathroom was disgusting, Ac was not working properly and floor was stinky. Further, they told me that they are gonna charge $125 for deposit fee but they charged $150 even if they made me fill out a form saying $125.

The whole floor smelled like marijuana and it was very loud outside which was disturbing our sleep. It is also right across the street from the hospital so you will hear the ambulance from your room as well.

It was ok. Room was tiny. I could hear music all day until 10pm from outside the first night. And you will hear the neighboring door slam like they are right next to you. Room was clean. Front desk were nice. I like the location.

We booked a 2 bed suite, upon arrival they only had rooms with single queen beds and there was nothing they can do for us. The super nice clerk told us the key machine wasn’t working-he had to walk people in and out of their rooms. If you locked your room you needed to wait in the queue of people before this ONE clerk can let you back into the room. The first room he took us to wasn’t very clean, there was urine all over the bathroom floor, he switched rooms for us and walked us to the next one. The second room was very small about 12x12 feet, bath room was really large for no reason. The entry door AND the bathroom door would only open half way because the bed was blocking them from fully opening. Luckily this was only for one night, we opted for a different hotel after check out. I would never stay at this location again and it’s best to call ahead to see if they actually have the room you booked available. I would buy the clerk a beer if I could, he handled the many situations like this with class. Do a better job Holiday Inn!

Leslie (frond desk) and the manager (I believe his name was Sandy) saved the day. The first night there were other guests that were extremely loud and smoking throughout the night. The next morning we were ready to switch hotels, but they both quickly asked what they could do to make it right, and got us a new room on a different floor. They worked hard to "make it right", and because of their attitudes and quick responsiveness, I would stay here again and recommend it others.

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff was exceptionally kind and professional, making me feel welcome from the start. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my visit very enjoyable. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and look forward to staying here again in the future. After staying in the hotel one night, I thought I would have received basic room service or asked If I needed fresh towels, etc. I did not. Later, I discovered the room was missing basic amenities that they claimed they would have, such as an Iron. When I called to informed them, I was told" That room is not going to come with one." When I asked for a credit, I was told to come downstairs and pick up one. Not that they would bring me one. After getting dressed and going downstairs, the front desk clerk got nasty with me. After I returned to room, discovered iron did not work. I informed the front desk in morning. I received a new iron and room service. The mysteriously found a new one. Everyday I stayed there, I had to get key recharged for room access. Hotel was missing basic security. Front desk clerks sat at desk doing their hair and talking on the phone.

Nice place for my weekend visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was actually pretty good. I liked that they offered turkey sausage because I don’t eat pork. The location was perfect for all of the events that I needed to attend. I would definitely stay here again.

The first receptionist upon arrival was rude and unhelpful at all . We asked to speak to someone else. Because of her attitude. The second person was better than the first one. Outside of the property was dirty with garbage bags near the entrance of the building and people outside asking for money. The place was noisy and loud both inside and outside the building. It was an unpleasant experience for me and my wife. Would not recommend going there

It's like the hotel runs itself. The staff lack knowledge of the policies when it comes to payments. They tell you anything because they don't know. No one is at the front desk half the time. Not worth your money.

Overall the hotel was fine, but it wasn't very easy to access with public transportation. It's a twenty minute walk to the nearest subway station, which was more than we wanted to do in July weather. It was clear that the main draw for the hotel was probably the hospital and nursing home across the street, as there was not much else nearby. The rooms were clean and, though not spacious, bigger than a downtown room, and had a nice bathroom with a full size shower.

Was good! Perfect for just staying the night, we weren't in the room much anyway. No subway entrance close to the area, wasn't a bad walk to one tho about 20 minutes. The police and ambulance from the hospital next door was fine, could be noisy but that's just what you get in the city so no complaints about that just be aware of it when booking. Not many food options near by

The Hotel is clean as can be. It is direct across from a major Hospital and its Emergency Dept. Shopsxwalking distance away, Chinese and Healthfoid store. The Hotel has a good hot breakfast or cold if you prefer. I cant fault it I am pleasantly surprised as sone reviews were bad and you hear bad things about the bronx. I will cone again. Yeah.

Thank God for this hotel, 10 min from where I needed to be for an event. Stayed on 4th fl. No noise. Highly recommend this hotel. First time and before actually entering the room, I said aloud “I’d come again.” Slept very well, bed and overall unit was clean and comfy. Smart tv & amenities were great. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. American continental breakfast avail but not much healthy options nor for vegans. Thanks Nelson, housekeeping and entire team. God continue to Bless you all. Look forward to my next stay!
