Uitstekende locatie en hotel, oud hotel maar bijgehouden en brandschoon. Parking onder het hotel voor € 35,-/24hr. Ontbijt, de bar was perfect, enorm gelachen met het barpersoneel. de kamers waren ruim en schoon.

Wir waren in Wien, um in die Oper zu gehen und im Musikverein die Wiener Philharmoniker zu hören. Dafür ist es standortmässig das beste Hotel überhaupt! Plus schönes Frühstück, nette Bedienung, ein Riesendank an die Bar für Sonderwünsche an zwei Abenden! Ihr seid die Besten! Und noch ganz wichtig: während draussen das Unwetter tobte, waren im Zimmer die Heizungen mollig warm... danke dafür! Das war immens wichtig für unser Wohlbefinden!

Excellent location. I suggest that they update their key entrance into the room! Old style with a key which wasn’t terribly user friendly. Suggest swipe card, easier to use.

Convenient location, beautiful exterior, lots of restaurants nearby (although I recommend getting out of inner district to other awesome restaurants that aren't as expensive - you're paying the tourist tax in this location). Staff were polite and helpful. I did note a lack of general staff available however. Rooms had an "old world feel" which was unique - however, the rooms were lacking in many ways. Damp smell, bathrooms weren't cleaned properly, the towels are very small and thin. The hotel was not fully booked when we stayed (middle of the week) and we were placed in a room right near the service elevator. Very annoying to hear an elevator creaking all day and night and staff talking loudly outside our door/linen carts banging very early in the morning. Not sure why you would place guests in a sub par room when there was MANY rooms available. We did not need parking or use the breakfast buffet/bar so we can't comment on that. 2 adults for 2 nights.

Inchecken was niet vriendelijk, wij voelden ons allesbehalve welkom. Wij waren er om 10 uur en konden wel direct in onze kamer. Wij hadden een business kamer gereserveerd en het was een grote kamer met grote badkamer en apart toilet maar…Kamer was niet proper, er lag op verschillende plaatsen opeengehoopt stof. Toilet ruikt vreselijk. Zowel badkamer, toilet als slaapkamer zijn dringend aan vernieuwing toe. Vroeger zal dit hotel wel bij de beteren hebben gehoord maar daar schiet momenteel niet veel meer van over. De ligging is perfect maar het hotel zelf is zeker geen 5 sterren waard, persoonlijk heb ik al in meerdere 3 sterren hotels gelogeerd die veel beter zijn dan dit hotel en waar men veel vriendelijker is. Ik had een ander gedacht van dit hotel en het is me zwaar tegengevallen.

The location can't be beat, I never had to take any public transportation since most everything was in walking distance, and if I wanted to take a trolley or metro it was just 2 blocks away. Restaurants, food stands everything was right nearby. I found my room to be always clean and tidy, and loved the high ceilings and large bathroom tub. The breakfast room was nice and the food and service was excellent. I would definitely go to this hotel again when visiting Vienna.

Overall, the hotel was very rundown. Was not worth the price. Location was great service was horrible. Alarm went off at 11:30 at night. Bathrooms were horrendous. The room was worn out. Carpet was disgusting. I would not stay here ever again.

A lovely, old-style hotel. We had a comfortable and well proportioned double room in which doors can be closed to separate the bedroom from the living room, which was good. The hotel is very well located in the city centre, in largely pedestrianised area on the Karntner Strasse and within easy walking distance of many monuments, museums, restaurants and cafes.

Hotel did not let us know that the hotel was wrapped with scaffolding and plastic. Could not open our windows or even our curtains as workers were working right outside our windows starting at 7:00 am. Management said they would not change our room, make any amends, not even a free breakfast because we booked through Expedia. We paid a huge premium to stay in this hotel and they also would not give us a refund if we moved to another hotel.

We had an amazing stay, the hotel is located right in the prestigious center of Vienna. Clean and accessible to everyone. We were treated to a small gift of chocolate for our birthday and wedding anniversary. It's a real shame and regret that there is no kettle for hot water in the room for tea or coffee, I had to ask for it specially. I will definitely return to the hotel

The hotel is superbly located within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions, many shops and restaurants. The room was adequate, but the furniture style and colour gave the room an outdated look. Bathroom was good. The dining facilities weren't used as there are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars within 5 minutes walk.

the hotel crew were so kind nice and helpfull they even make dinner reservations for the best places in town for us the location of the hotel is perfect for places to see in town ,very close to the staadsoper ,you can go anywhere by walking also it is on a very nice shooping street. it is a centre hotel but silent and rooms are big (so clean and comfortable) we liked and enjoyed it a lot

Hôtel très bien placé mais beaucoup de travaux devant l’entrée (trou géant pour parking nous obligeant à contourner ). J’aurais aimé en avoir été informée avant le séjour. La salle du petit déjeuner est sinistre et avons préféré le prendre à l’extérieur.

The Ambassador Hotel is an excellent choice for those who want to be in the walkable part of Vienna. The beds and linens are first rate, and the property is beautiful.The staff is polite and helpful.My only complaint is that if you don't order breakfast at the hotel there is no free coffee available as part of the cost of the room, which I find highly unusual. Most of the cafes in the area don't open before 9:00am. To ask a guest for payment for the day's first coffee by the hotel in which one is staying doesn't sit well with me and feels like a lack of hospitality.

アクセスも良く、観光するには便利な立地でした。部屋は豪華なシャンデリアがあり家具も素晴らしい。カギの開け閉めが、かなりのコツが必要。朝食ビッフェはスパークリングワインもあり、レベルが高いメニューでした。スタッフ対応も良く、次回ウィーンに行く事があればリピートしたいホテルです。

Outstanding hotel (former embassy) right in the middle of Vienna. Step out into the pedestrianised area of the city, and the best shopping areas. Excellent large rooms with great facilities. Great breakfasts, no dinners but a great variety of restaurants all around.
