The property is located in a great area to dive into Denver scene. However parking is troublesome. Hotel offers $60 a night which they charged me when I didn’t opt for it. However it got corrected once I brought it up. The front desk told us they did inventory of vehicles nightly but that wasn’t true because they docked me for $60. Parking up 16th street was $40-45 a night 12-14 hours worth. Next visit I am making sure hotel has free parking and away from Denver downtown. It’s convenient just not for the wallet.

Great location! Clean … beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Only 1-2 working elevators most of the stay, but I typically take the stairs so, not an issue for us (4th floor).

Clean and modern hotel with great location. The hotel is next to the end of the airport train line in downtown. It is across from Union Station and a few blocks from the sports stadiums. The free 16th St. Mall bus stops just outside of the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced for Denver. However the daily amenity fee is really a ripoff!

Our stay was wonderful! Such a great location to be able to walk everywhere and easy access to arrive by train at Union Station from the airport. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were able to rent out 2 bikes one morning and ride around which was a great complimentary touch! Highly recommend staying at the Limelight!

The lady who checked us in was warm, welcoming and friendly. The location is walkable and convenient. The room was very comfortable. Unfortunately one of the glass cups in the bathroom fell and shattered all over the bathroom and entry way. The staff was responsive however missed a few pieces of glass which I stepped on and cut my foot.

Not exactly what I expected from a highly rated hotel. Very little in the way of food options apart from their attached restaurant with a limited and pricey dining options Hotel obviously focused on its events and parities with its huge banquet halls . So checking in on a Saturday evening with one valet Parking a million cars and traffic going around block was really unpleasant and frustrating. The loud party went on until early hours of the morning disturbing our sleep . If you are a person who likes a hot shower , continue reading . Water was warm and after letting front desk staff know , the sent up someone to fix but this was not really rectified .I asked them to fix the following day and while water was warmer , it was certainly not hot . I have allergies and room was clearly very dusty for my allergies to be triggered . Asked for room too be cleaned and dusted and for a hepa filter . This seemed to resolve the issue on our second night . Don’t bother purchasing hotel breakfast , rather find another place downtown . Morning coffee anf hot chocolate bar and late afternoon wine in the lobby was a nice touch . I definitely would not chose to stay here again .

We’ve stayed at this property before and it was enjoyable. This trip, there seemed to be an issue with the hotel sewage and there was a horrible smell of sewer gas in the room when we checked in. We contacted guest services and they seemed to suggest there was an issue with the sewer system but tried to say it wasn’t really the hotel’s problem. Honestly, I didn’t care whose problem it was because the room smelled, well, like a sewer. By the second day, the hotel offered to allow us to change rooms but it was late in the evening and one of our kids was in bed. By the next morning, the smell had gotten better and we decided to stay in the room. I was disappointed in the hotel staff because they just didn’t seem sympathetic with the situation and weren’t super helpful resolving the issue. Won’t stay at this property again.

Their was a hair in the shower when we arrived and they charged fees over $300 after we left the property without notifying or explaining it to me. When I called to complain, I was told the bogus fees would not be refunded and was treated rudely. I do not recommend this property at all.

This I a gorgeous property, the lobby is beautifully appointed and done like a living room so people actually congregate there. The location cannot be beat. Steps from Union Station and even with the trains outside my window, my room was so quiet. My room was huge, lots of natural wood, blackout curtains, plenty of storage, and a lovely bathroom. Do bring your own shampoo and conditioner, the ones provided weren’t optimal. The restaurant is closed right now so there isn’t any room service, but, breakfast is served in the lobby daily and there are tons of great places to eat within walking distance. I have only one complaint, but it’s a biggie, the beds!! So uncomfortable, poor quality, scratchy sheets, they think two flat sheets sandwiched around the saddest duvet comforter ever is a blanket, and the pillows are terrible. This hotel is too wonderful to have Motel 6 bedding.

Our air conditioning didn’t work in our room and even though we set it at the lowest temperature, it remained at 75 degrees all night. At 12:30, we were roasting but didn’t want to wake our kids to go to the front desk and what would even be done about it at that point? Bummer- we have stayed at the Limelight probably 30 times and have always loved it

I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was my first time in Denver & this was an amazing experience. We had the king suite with Mountain View and I couldn't have been happier. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was even better. 10/10

This place is gorgeous, huge rooms, great lobby, steps from union station and easy walk to restaurants, bars, and Coors Field. We loved our stay except the beds. They are insanely uncomfortable. You get these weird square pillows that are beyond uncomfortable. A duvet that is about 1/8” thick and they do that stupid thing where they only have flat sheets so the bottom sheet comes out and of course, the duvet isn’t going to stay sandwiched between two sheets. The sheets are poor quality, low thread count and rough as the ones I recall from summer camp. It’s really a shame bc the property is high end and requires a lovely bed with good linens, pillows and mattress.

The only downside was the room temperature control which wouldn’t raise above 66F. I wanted a cozy 73F but it never happened. The hotel did offer to swop my room, but I had unpacked and it was late,so I put up with the ‘chill room’ for my one night stay.

This was our first stay at Limelight and we really enjoyed ourselves. The room was quiet, with a gorgeous view of the city and the mountains, and very comfortable. We are locals and wanted to stay in Denver for the weekend. We'll definitely stay here again when we go into Denver for a night or two.

Hotel was ok, but service was terrible and not consistent through my stay. Check in was ok, but the welcome drink was not offered. Cleaning service was all over the places. Cleaning was late on the second day, so I had to requested. I also had to requested yoga mat twice, due to the ignorance from the front desk. Cleaning service missed coffees and cups on the third day, which again, I had to requested. Water was offered first two days, but then third day was missing. Neighbors were noisy loudly on the second night. Overall, not recommendable, except the location. Avoid!!

Cleaning service missed coffees and cups on the third day, which again, I had to requested. Water was offered first two days, but then third day was missing. Neighbors were noisy loudly on the second night. Overall, not recommendable, except the location. Avoid!!

We chose this hotel because it was close to Ball Arena but we didn't realize how close! Easy and safe walk to our concert in about 10 minutes. The hotel was beautiful and clean and all the staff we encountered including the valet, front desk personnel, and restaurant staff were all friendly and kind and helpful! The room was lovely with a fabulous shower and very comfy bed. We had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant before heading home and the valet had our car ready and helped us load it. It was a great stay and we definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

Can't say enough about Limelight Hotel! First, the hotel itself is beautiful -- gorgeous wood detailing, spacious hallways with tall ceilings, clean, a very popular DIY coffee/espresso machine in the lobby, etc. The staff, though, they really made it a special visit. We were there for one night to celebrate our 8YO son's birthday -- we had just gotten off a 32-hour train ride from Sacramento to Denver, and we requested a room with a view of Union Station (he's obsessed with trains). Not only did they deliver with a beautiful view on the top floor, but they also surprised us with a few treats for the birthday boy -- a stuffed animal he'll treasure for years to come and a bucket full of drinks to enjoy. Simple but so thoughtful! Thank YOU Limelight staff!! If we're ever in Denver again, we know exactly where we'll book :)

Overall the Limelight is nice property to stay at that is convenient to Union Station. The front desk associates were rude and busy talking about something to greet me or begin my check in process when I approached desk (I was only one checking in at time). I had to ask them if I could check in and the reply “in just a minute” was not what I would have expected. The room was surprisingly nice. My only complaint was the quality of the mattress with two significantly indented areas on both left and right side of bed. Traveling solo, I was able to find an ok position in the middle of the bed. I’ve traveled a lot and have never experienced such a poor quality in a mattress and especially not in a hotel that appears to be on the newer side.

We stayed at Limelight for 2 nights on a short trip to attend a concert at Ball Arena. Staff were just incredibly kind, courteous and helpful. ADA room was well set up, and genuinely accessible even in a large powerchair, with a great set up in the bathroom that did not require any wild navigation skills--this is something not all hotels excel at, so a good accessible bathroom can make or break my trip. The area surrounding was easily navigable on foot/chair with a grocery, stores, restaurants, and Union Station all right there. Ball Arena was about 5min away on foot/chair, completely eliminating parking lot hassle pre and post show. There is a nightly credit at Ajax- the onsite restaurant -but we did not use it. Parking at the hotel is a daily charge on the more expensive end, but it has in/out service with a great text messaged based system, so worth it.You can also text staff for concierge help, etc which is amazing.

Had an issue with a complaining neighbor but the hotel staff were very accommodating and gave us a new room right away and even surprise gifts for my son the next day. This hotel has the best customer service and preserves luxury type services. A+ hotel!

The staff were quite rude when I attempted to check in. For $600 per night, one would expect that their room would be ready at check in time. I had to ask twice for my room between 1552 and 1605 with a 1600 check in time. The front desk were very unwelcoming.

The hotel is in a great spot right next to Union Station, where to can easily get to and from the airport. Very walkable to many shops and restaurants in a pedestrian-friendly area. It was quiet and felt very safe. The room was sizable and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Denver.

Limelight hotel is my favorite one in Denver! The room was clean, well designed and maintained. The hotel location is very good! Close to all the restaurants, bars, museums and other attractions. It’s a super friendly place. Checking in and out was smooth. The restaurant had a great selection of food. We dined there almost every day because of the yummy food and nice atmosphere. We had an incredible time at our stay at Limelight Hotel in Denver. There’s an outdoor mall that’s in walking distance, banks along the way, and many restaurants to choose from. It was also really nice to experience Union Station just outside the hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a hit! We would definitely stay there again.

We eat at Ajax, that was bit disappointing because we had heard from locals it was good. In fairness they were about to close in 30 minutes we were the only ones there. they do not have a business center to print things off. Their staff was relatively new so couldn't answer questions about the surrounding area. Our room was not cleaned on one of the days and one of the robes was soiled although when informed they did provide clean robe. The restaurant breakfast menu is very limited.

Have stayed at the Limelight a couple times now. Location is great for me as I appreciate its proximity to the River Trail for a run in the morning, Highlands as well as downtown restaurants in the evening. Rooms are clean, with a mountain lodge aesthetic, staff friendly, and a decent restaurant.
