Bed was comfy/clean, included breakfast & rooftop cinema club were both awesome, and I’m so glad we got the room with a balcony facing the Empire State Building; the size of the balcony and the view were incredible. Of all the things we saw/did I was always excited to get back and relax on the balcony. So lovely.

There are two elements that lower our expectations. Three small elevators serving 39 floors are not acceptable, evident in the lines waiting to catch an empty elevator, going up and/or down. The other disappointment was the breakfast area in the 4th floor, where although the food options were good, there were Not Enough tables to accommodate the volume of guest having breakfast. The serving personnel was excellent, and made a great difference.

The hotel was covered in scaffolding but a lit sign made it easy to spot. From the moment we arrived the staff were efficient, welcoming and friendly. Check in was simple and quick and we were soon unpacking in our room. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained witch a view of the Empire State Building Herralds Square and the main entrance to Macy’s. Toiletries were available and the towels were soft and brilliant white. 3 blocks from the subway and 4 from a path station and Penn station it has great access to public transport. Bryant park and the public library only 3 blocks up it is in a great spot for film location spotting or just relaxing with coffee. The hotel had cold water available at all times to fill water bottles and the reception and public areas remained clean and well serviced throughout our stay despite the rain. On check out our luggage was stored securely and the staff booked a town car to take us to the airport. Our stay at The Embassy Suite was super. The fabric of the hotel was good the staff obviously care about where they work and the experience guests have, from the from of house to the room staff - we even met a house keeper twice on our stay who was spot checking rooms for cleaning and service. The lifts are not speedy but in a city With so much hustle the brief waits did not spoil our stay. When we finally left the hotel having collected our luggage we were seen off by a wonderful receptionist and bellhop who ended our stay perfectly.

Great location. Poor signage. Bed was comfortable, pillows allittle too soft. Dining area for breakfast and reception very tight/small. Food was ok. During our 4day/3 night stay, the alarm system was going off often even as late as 11pm. Elevators are small and the light to indicate the direction was on the inside of the elevator. For the price, I would probably check out somewhere else next time I visit NYC.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. My son and I arrived excited for our trip, only to have our check-in delayed—causing us to be late for our plans. We had to drop our things and rush out the second the room was finally “ready.” When we returned later that night, exhausted, the first thing I see is a BUG crawling on the bed. I was in complete shock and instinctively knocked it down, then spent 20 minutes frantically searching until I found it crawling up the wall beside the bed. Disgusted and disturbed, I inspected the bedding—only to discover stains on the sheets and the bed skirt. Absolutely revolting. I was told no one could change the bedding until after 11pm. Excuse me? I’m traveling with my 9-year-old child who was tired after a full day out, and you expect us to wait hours for clean bedding in a room with bugs and filth? Not once was a new room offered—only solution offered was new bedding. We were so uncomfortable and freaked out we ended up sleeping in a chair. IN A CHAIR. After paying for a room and a bed we were too scared to even lie on. This was supposed to be a special trip, and instead we were treated like we didn’t matter. Never again. Shame on this hotel for their complete lack of cleanliness, hospitality, and basic human decency. I have videos but I can only post photos.

This property as others were a bit sketchy for my selection due to some of the reviews. Ofcourse you would want to stay somewhere safe, clean and convient. This hotel did hit the mark. However, by day three requesting room service, the pillows that we recieved did have blood stains on them. Well ine if them did, and that's more than enough. I was horrified of that, especially because that's where my 7 year old son slept. However, besides that, the hotel was in a prime location. A lot of scafoldong, which in NY is not irregular. Breakfast was crowded and had ok options. We only selected to eat there 2x during our stay. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, access to transportation near the hotel. Times square is about a 10 minute walk. Herald square and Bryant Park are about a 5 minute walk! Macys ia about 3 blocks down!

I definitely do not recommend this hotel. The rooms are extremely small, it was dirty upon arrival, floors were gross and did not appear to have been cleaned in some time, hair all over the bathroom, bugs stuck to the ceiling and the pillows smelled awful. They “cleaned” our room one day and it was still so gross, they only made the bed and changed out towels, they did not refill shampoo or conditioner.

Where to start. Lights weren’t working in our room when we arrived (we arrived very late and just wanted to get to bed). An engineer was sent up within about 15 minutes and he did get them on for us (a fuse had tripped) but this continued to be a problem throughout the stay. There was A LOT of dark hair left on the back of our bathroom door - I requested this be cleaned every day we were there and it never happened. I was sleeping on the sofa bed in our room - it wasn’t made up when we arrived and the only bedding provided was one tiny blanket which smelt unwashed. I requested bedding and I received a sheet, which was taken away the next day and I had to request for it again. I finally had full bedding on the last night of our stay. Couldn’t ever work the phone in our room - no instructions were left how to use it. I was either using it incorrectly or nobody was answering it. Very frustrating when trying to rectify the constant problems. Breakfast was poor quality, allergens weren’t correctly listed, choice was limited. The breakfast room was also tiny so getting a table was difficult most mornings. Staff seemed to want to help when you spoke to them but nothing was followed up. We were told we’d receive a part refund for our troubles but no note was left on the system so this was denied at checkout. They knew this trip was for a big birthday for my mum who had never been to New York before, no effort was made to make it special. Only positive is the location is excellent.

A little disappointing. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. We had to ask for WAY more blankets to make it able to be laid upon comfortably. It wasn’t great but it was the best they were prepared to do. The rooms were still not turned down at 5-6pm each day - this meant housekeeping would arrive to clean the room as we were using it to get ready to go out for the evening so we would have to send them away. SMALL rooms for two people & even worse for three. Don’t book for more than two people per room & even then, it’s a tight squeeze. Breakfast was busy everyday and unless you were up first and in the queue at 7am, you struggled to get a table & just had to wait for a table to be vacated. No queue system, just a stand & wait free for all with people racing to get to tables being vacated. Check in staff were less than enthusiastic & we felt like we were bothering them. Busy city, so I guess new arrivals are nothing special but we certainly weren’t made to feel welcome. We’ve just arrived in Atlanta to a lovely greeting/welcome from the staff - you really do notice the difference. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel thankfully so it didn’t necessarily spoil our trip.

The room was clean, but it was disappointing there was not a place to put our clothes except for our hanging things so we lived out of our suitcase. There was definitely space to put a small cabinet with drawers.I would’ve appreciate it some heavier bed linens as it was cold. The breakfast was definitely nice.

The layout of our room was really bad. The TV doesn’t swing towards the bed. There is a serious lack of storage. The bathroom layout is terribly ineffective lacking counter space with lots of dead unused space. The shower head doesn’t go high enough. The electric curtains didn’t work until maintenance came to the room which took 1.5 hours and they didn’t know anything about them or how to operate them. Eventually we unplugged them from the wall and plugged them back in which then caused them to start working. The worst part is the $30 urban destination only being able to be used in the restaurant is awful. It should be able to be used anywhere on/in the property it’s just a money grab and feels dirty. The views were absolutely incredible and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff was excellent!!

Excellent stay! Extremely hospitable staff (Adam at concierge, Kevin at breakfast). The breakfast had great variety and good quality food. Appreciated the evening happy hour reception as well. Clean room. Very centrally located in midtown - lots of options within walking distance and several subway stops a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was not as clean as other Embassy Suites I've stayed in. It is close to Times Square so it's not quiet. It's convenient to Times Square, Empire State Building, Summit One Vanderbilt, Broadway and transportation. Walkable. I think the staff do the best they can but it is a really busy area and a really busy hotel. Kudos to Dinu for all his help. Breakfast was ok.

We loved this hotel! It is right in the heart of midtown so we could walk to anything we needed to see or use. Our room was an Empire view, and it was perfect! Very quiet, comfortable bed, excellent view, with even a closet in the room. Happy hour snacks and drinks, free breakfast (if there wasn’t enough seating we would just order omelets or grab what we wanted and take to our room or the tables downstairs and a daily credit to use at the restaurant. But the BEST thing about this hotel is the amazing staff. Every single person was so helpful and kind about it- they all work so hard to make your stay great. On our check-out day the doorman, DINU, even helped us get transportation to the airport in the middle of a festival blocking all the streets around us. DINU even helped us take our luggage over 3 blocks to meet the driver so we could get to the airport. Honestly this was the best hotel stay ever- 10/10!

The staff here were so kind and helpful, I had an unusual situation where a medical emergency extended a work trip and they easily helped with luggage and making sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately, we can only give the hotel a mediocre rating. The front desk staff was not very accommodating throughout our entire stay. At first, they told us they only had one room for us. However, when we showed them our reservation for two rooms, a second room suddenly became available. Then we were given a room that was already occupied by other guests. When we finally received the correct room, the third bed was not made, and there were no towels for the third person. The response from the reception was quite annoyed, and unfortunately, we never received an apology. The breakfast was sufficient, and the breakfast staff was very courteous and exceptionally friendly. Room cleaning was average – a properly cleaned room looks different. The location of the hotel is very good – Times Square, Bryant Park, the Empire State Building, Macy’s, etc., are all within walking distance. There are also many shops, cafés, and stores right nearby. Unfortunately, we did not get a room on one of the upper floors, even though we requested it in advance. Since we specifically chose the more expensive hotel, we are disappointed. We are usually used to better standards from the Hilton chain. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi connection was perfect.

Located between the Times Square, Bryant Park and Penn Station area- central to everything midtown and all transportation. Easily walk all of midtown with plenty of attractions, theaters and restaurants to indulge in. I've stayed in many hotels around Times Square... this has been the best, reasonably priced, for its benefits. We were greeted with a warm, friendly smile and pleasant conversation. The concierge attendant was thorough in explaining all of the hotel benefits during our stay. The hallways were welcoming with a comfortable, rich purple colored berber carpet. No dull beige. Our room was nice. Dark wood and nice carpeting. Not dull and bland. It was cleaned well, stocked with essentials and we enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows for city views. Coffee was available in the room, as well as a refrigerator and microwave (though we didn't use it). Charging stations on both sides of the bed = A+. Large TV hanging on the wall. The hotel breakfast buffet = A+! Excellent restaurant and bar on site for late night.

Keehana (front desk, not sure if her name is spelled correctly) she was amazing! She helped me with my car issue and answered every question I had. She was friendly, energetic, and made me and my daughters feel like we were her main concern every time she saw us. The rest of staff were very friendly and helpful as well, but she stood out above the rest when it came to making us feel like top priority! (The I-Park guy was not very friendly....) Narda, helped us get our luggage to the parking garage as she walked by and saw us struggle, that was not her job, but she took the time to help, very grateful for her as well! Thank you for a great experience!

I’ve stayed here multiple times and have always enjoyed my stays. During my last trip, they messed up the financials. I paid online, but still owed $68 at the property for some unknown reason. Plus a deposit. When I checked in, they did not ask about the $68 or deposit. The next morning, they called my room asking for that money. I went down and paid it a few hours later, and the charges made no sense. 3 charges, one for $68, one for $80 something, and another for $30 something. I asked them for a breakdown of the charges and they said all they saw on their end was one $100 charge. I still have no idea what I paid or why. A little annoyed about this and wish I had some clarification- but whatever. I will continue to stay here because it’s a great property otherwise. Clean, safe, nice amenities, friendly staff, etc. I hope this hotel can figure my issue out however, so that it does not happen to other guests.

Stayed at Embassy Suites Time Square for 5 days with just my daughter and I. We loved the breakfast selection and made to your order. Plus loved the free evening snacks and drinks plus the $30 credit that I was charged, whether I used it or not, so we used it on desserts!

The property was good. The bell service was exceptional. Breakfast was OK - some items were better than others. It was always busy there. Kevin (a busser during breakfast) was incredibly kind & efficient. Definitely make sure to take advantage of the Urban Destination fee and get food/drinks at the bar at night.

Internet service was good. The breakfast was nice I did like the option of customizing the eggs. But some items could use improving especially with the pancakes and the potatoes. A waffle maker would be a nice addition and smaller cuts of potatoes.

The wait line for breakfast had at least 60+people waiting in the hallways on the elevators and in the emergency stair wells. Didn't open until 7:10am. Why not earlier on Fridays??? First time I never got breakfast at Embassy. I stay at lots of Embassy when we travel. Won't come back this location.

We had a great stay here! Other than waiting on the elevators for a while @ times….the beds & pillows were comfortable! We had great breakfasts each am with lots of food to choose from & the best ordered omelets (so yummy). We were able to start our day with a great breakfast! Walk our way around Manhattan-most places were about a 20-40 min walk from there! Loved that! Came back to get ready for the evening events planned & had a “happy hour” drink or 2 with a ticket each day & some small snacks! Great way to transition our day & have a bit of a break & some down time. They even had an outdoor movie you could attend in the afternoon! Most of the staff were friendly & offered great service!! If we should ever find ourselves back in NYC we would definitely stay here again!!

Very pleased with the location and access to transportation. The staff is amazing! Breakfast is very good but get there no later than 9:00 to avoid over-crowding.
