3 nights over new year. Room was comfortable, decent breakfast. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Couple of negatives. The safe in the room didn’t work and there was no milk on arrival to go with the tea and coffee. The bar on the roof had limited opening times and was fully booked so couldn’t use it. Which was a shame as was part of the reason we chose this hotel. Needs to be more accessible for residents.

It was a comfortable stay. Rooms were soundproof which is nice. Parking is available at $59NZ per night at the Wilson next door (though should be offered at a discount rate). Breakfast was nice. Especially the coffee.

Beautiful hotel, centrally located albeit on a steep street. Stunning views from room over harbour. Very modern fit out in room which i liked. Hotel rooftop bar has unbelievable views - but you need to book and pay a deposit to get a table (bar availability my only negative)

Location was excellent and there is a very good Italian restaurant on the ground floor which has superb food. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. They make every attempt to get you registered and to your room as quickly as possible. They even had a second member of staff to monitor the queue in case you just had a quick question. The best was the laundry facility After a week in Fiji we were so pleased to be able to do our washing! Would definitley recommend this hotel. Ask for a room overlooking the Skytower.

We loved the ambience and facilities provided. Buffet breakfast was great, and the receptionists were welcoming. Only thing we had a serious issue with was Housekeeping. We booked 4 days 3 nights and our room wasn’t properly looked after. We asked for housekeeping on the second night because the bins were full and towels needed to be changed, the result was subpar. If the hotel provided guests rooms with cleaning supplies, we would definitely clean our rooms ourselves!

Stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every moment of it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (never got a bad vibe). Breakfast was always good. I ate at the restaurant a few times and that food was tasty as well. Nice roof top bar. Cleanliness is a 10/10 in all areas. This is my 2nd time staying here and I’d probably stay here Everytime I’m in Auckland.

We had a family of 4 staying but only 2 glasses were provided for water. We found a mouldy jellybean under the bed and items from a previous tenant in one of the drawers. Hotel was clean and had great views, very convenient for inner city stay.

Great location. Easy walk to harbour and Skytower. We had a fantastic view from our corner room. I would have given 5 stars but during our 6 night stay we had to ask for servicing of our room on 3 occasions. The staff were very apologetic and arranged the service asap. Overall a good stay.

Lovely room with plenty of space and views. Everything was great right in the city, but not sure why they put sensors above the bed. There was a bright green light that stayed on it was that bright you had to pull the sheet up to get to sleep.

Nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good with nice choices, but Fruit wasnt the best bananas always brown and fruit looked pale.... Parking is right next door but expensive and no discounts for hotel guests. location was fab and staff very friendly. We would stay again. Room was cleaned and tidied every day. Only bad part was the water pressure is very weak

A great venue with lovely staff, I was upgraded to a harbour view room which was beautiful. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss though I know staffing is generally an issue at the moment. My main foible is the aircon - I’m all for protecting the environment, but it turns off after a couple of hours if there is no movement, including in the middle of the night - a pretty significant design flaw! Gym was surprisingly well equipped which was a bonus. Would stay again!

Place is nice and new (one year old at time of writing). Good views, the hotel occupies floors 21-37 so you can see all over Auckland. The 38th has a bar. The staff are friendly and polite. Helpful too. Location is good. Right by the new train station (opens in a few years). One block from Queens St and Sky City. Lots of food options around. My only concern is the lacklustre shower. It’s a warm trickle down your back. There is a rain shower and a normal shower but it’s all pointless since it’s a trickle. The soap is nice (fig and pear) but takes a while to wash off. Probably wouldn’t stay there again because the shower was so bad.

Check-in is efficient and pleasant. The city city is packed with road works, including the section near the hotel. The hotel sent a message about the situation but it still took the taxi driver a bit time to get to the hotel.

I took a few days to contemplate even writing this review but finally settled on leaving honest feedback here. I don't like negative reviews in general but this one deserves it. The property looks botique online. It is not.... They have no carport for parking / valet attendants outside. All of the parking spots (3 of them) available in front of the hotel are occupied by taxi drivers. So you have to unpack your car and drag your luggage up a 25 to 30 degree incline. You have to walk inside and wait for the one guy working valet, who tells you to park illegally in the loading dock... The front desk staff while kind and attentive are overwhelmed and too busy for this to be a high end hotel... It took 30 minutes to get the car from the valet one morning and there were only two other people waiting in the lobby so I assume the poor guy is wearing many hats.... Room attendants didn't even bother cleaning the room one day and we had to call and ask / wait for basic towel service. Again, NOT boutique.... Anyway if you are expecting a high level of service, look elsewhere. In all fairness I am a Four Seasons / W Hotel kind of customer....

The lady who check us in Wednesday morning was literally amazing, Her name began with an A, but hard for me to remember. However, the rest of the staff gave off the impression we worked for them. Sal in the rooftop bar was the worst. Very uncooperative and zero hospitality. We had to call to get our room cleaned. Asked for laundry bags, never got them.

Everything was really good till we tried to access Albert Bar. Only to be told we should have booked and that there was nothing available till 10pm. We were not advised when checking in, that we should make a booking or we may not be able to access the bar. Also some confusion around purchasing coffee, where I paid via eftpos when ordering to asked to sign for the coffees when it was placed against our room - poor communication.

Check in staff were friendly. The welcome treat was delicious. Views from 36th floor were amazing. Room was modern & clean. Bed was super comfortable. Complimentary bottled water was a nice bonus. Bar Albert had awesome views but drinks menu was a bit pricey.

A very handy location with good access to public transportation, Queen St shopping, SkyCity and other attractions. The rooftop bar, Bar Albert, was excellent and the views were wonderful. The room was comfortable and quiet. I did enjoy using Chromecast in the evening to watch media from my phone. Breakfast at the hotel was very good - tasty with a good selection of foods. Mozzarella and Co had a limited though tasty menu - I ate there several times during my stay.

Wonderful hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, tons of options, omelettes and hot beverages made to order. Our favorite was the passion fruit yogurt. Rooms are modern and comfortable with incredible view of Skytower. Our only complaint is that the area is going through a lot of construction , Wyndham street was closed and it was very difficult to figure out how to get to the front of the hotel/acesa parking valet. There were no signs and the gps would not send us another way.
