Street parking only with very high rates per 15 min. Nice property initially, but only staffed 2-9pm for check in. Shower was broken with scalding hot water intermittently with cold water. Told breakfast helper who didn’t seem to understand.

Wonderful small boutique hotel, modern and clean. The double room was everything we needed with a comfortable bed and plenty toiletries. Help yourself to delicious teas in the breakfast room and a coffee machine in our room. Situated beside Kelvingrove Art museum and the park, lovely to walk around and enjoy the restaurants in the area. We even heard a sound check for a concert in the park!! We would definitely stay here again, the only downside is the expensive parking meters in the street outside. Luckily it was free after 6pm.

My partner and I had a lovely stay here while visiting Glasgow. We arrived early and thankfully they were able to accommodate us and check us in. The room was small for two people plus 2 large suitcases, but manageable. No issues with noise. Parking suggestions- bring lots of change and park at the museum. The parking app doesn’t work especially for non UK residents.

The breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly. However we received a parking ticket. The ticket states we were parked in a bus lane. Many cars were also parked there. There was no bus stop nor any buses down this road. I believe we should have been informed of this. I am disabled and unable to walk any distance.

Friendly staff member welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room, which was directly behind the reception desk. Room was a bit tired, bed was lumpy and towels had seen better days. Waterfall tap in bathroom was too big for the sink so had to judge waterflow just right so that it didnt flood the floor or hit the back of the wall. Toiletries from Highland Soap Company were a nice touch. Good choice of items included in the continental breakfast and the croissants were delicious. Great location right next to Kelvingrove Plenty of on street parking but quite expensive at £12 for a maximum of 3 hours. Really early checkout time of 10am which wasn't great. No reception staff working after 9pm. Not an issue for us but a couple of other guests had turned up after midnight and were unable to get in. Was ok for what we needed but wouldn't rush to stay again.

A true boutique place to stay. Only 10 rooms. Easy street parking (observe the meter rules). Extremely helpful, honest and friendly staff. Good continental breakfast (even had boiled eggs)!!!!!

Great location and good facilities. Walkable to all the great things in the West End. A turntable and records in the room were especially appreciated! If you have a car, you will need to sort out parking on your own. Street parking is prohibitively expensive.

Trendy and quaint.... Nice little touches like the Record Player and old Jazz records. Overall was a great stay. Close to University and lots of shops and places to eat. Parking is a bit of an issue...street parking, but didn't get a ticket with tactical meter plugging.

Great new hip boutique hotel in a prewar historic building on a quiet residential block, we had a very nice room, state of the art new bathroom, everything very clean, great staff. The area is in 5-10 minutes walking distance to the University, ideal if you have business there. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood.

Spotlessly clean, well maintained and beautifully presented. Only a quick stopover for 1 night but everything was seamless. Bonus of a cracking continental breakfast buffet too! Minor gripe about heating not going off so room was hot. Plus the bathroom door is transparent so no privacy there!!!

Beautiful hotel in great location west end of Glasgow. Situated right near a park, minutes walk from bars, restaurants, train station etc. Very modern, lovely decor, rooms are clean and big and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great, well-presented and great variety. Unfortunately I was woken up at 2am by the floor boards above creaking and voices. This continued for 2 hours and I could hear everything from above!! I was told by the receptionist this is students who rent above. This may just be a problem with my room - (room 3 perhaps, right behind the reception desk) - but really I dont think its acceptable to have a hotel room that has no sound-proofing to neighbours! I understand its an old building and it may just be that room that has such noise - but because of this I wouldn't stay again.

I think the hotel is a bit overrated. The bathroom was extremely small and for those not aware of the faucet, you will likely soak yourself if you turn the water on to the full setting. The shower has to be run in eco mode or you will not be able to keep the water temperature at a steady temp. It will scold or freeze within 30 seconds.

Loved the location and the service. Perfect part of town and staff amazingly helpful and professional. Found the room an a small side for 2 people and was not keen on how small the bathroom was; the sink was tiny and not that easy to use.

Friendly welcome, and it was lovely being taken to my room. It was generally quiet (apart from noisy washing machines? in the evening). The shower was quite hard to use - it was either a bit too hot or quite a bit too cold. I had a nice stay anyway. Breakfast was really good for a continental breakfast!

The hotel is close to museums and restaurants in the West end but is also tucked away on a side street and near leafy green spaces. The staff are welcoming and we appreciated their continual helpfulness and courtesy.

The best thing about Boutique 50 is the calm and great location. Nearby are countless places for food and drinks, plus beautiful park. Rooms look nice, but nothing spectacular. Breakfast was okay, but nothing like they say on the website. Proper coffee would be a nice addition, but atleast there\'s nespresso machine in rooms. Service is really lacking. Checkout is oddly at 10 already. We asked for late check out, which costs ridicious 20 pounds for an hour because "hotel is fully booked", although there were rooms available and it wasn\'t full. Overall experience was good, but because of the service would probably choose another hotel next time. Shame!

My sister and I had the loveliest stay at 50 Boutique. John was incredibly helpful helping us carry our luggage. Our room had everything we could want including a record player with an array of classics. Elton John, The Beatles , and Abba have become a part of our Scotland soundtrack. The neighborhood was perfect distance to the gallery and a short bus ride to Buchanan Street. It's incredible what adventure one can find just by walking and taking a chance. Food options were endless. There was a small store with fresh pastry, fruits and vegetables where I got some tea and handmade rosemary soap. Just absolutely delightful! And the best was breakfast before our big adventure. An assortment of juices, teas, watermelon, boiled eggs, amazing sourdough, yogurt cheese, ham. Scotland knows hospitality and warmth. John made sure that we were taken care of and that is priceless. Ten outta ten!

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Boutique 50 in Glasgow. John (front of house) and Sally (housekeeper) looked after us really well. They were very friendly and approachable. The bed was SUPER comfy and breakfast each day was a great. Excellent, quiet location right by Kelvingrove Park and Finnieston. Would highly recommend!

Check in was not great. We arrived early and expected to have to wait. That wasnt the problem. Left our bags in the common area - exposed, and came back well after check in time to see them still there. Expected them to have been moved to the room. Then no offer of assistance to carry them down. Room in basement, dark and picking up lots of noise from the rooms around us and above us. No coffee on offer with the continental breakfast (hint: “continental” means the continent where proper coffee is always on offer). Nespresso machine in bedroom, but no coffee pods. No cutlery. Toilet wont flush without adding several cups of water from the sink. Bedside table lopsided so drawer keeps sliding open in my way. Had to put the slippers they supplied under the legs to right size it. Not what we expected, but the neighborhood is fantastic.

Was ok for what we needed but wouldn't rush to stay again.
Friendly staff member welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room, which was directly behind the reception desk. Room was a bit tired, bed was lumpy and towels had seen better days. Waterfall tap in bathroom was too big for the sink so had to judge waterflow just right so that it didnt flood the floor or hit the back of the wall. Toiletries from Highland Soap Company were a nice touch. Good choice of items included in the continental breakfast and the croissants were delicious. Great location right next to Kelvingrove Plenty of on street parking but quite expensive at £12 for a maximum of 3 hours. Really early checkout time of 10am which wasn't great. No reception staff working after 9pm. Not an issue for us but a couple of other guests had turned up after midnight and were unable to get in. Was ok for what we needed but wouldn't rush to stay again.

Great new hip boutique hotel in a prewar historic building on a quiet residential block, we had a very nice room, state of the art new bathroom, everything very clean, great staff. The area is in 5-10 minutes walking distance to the University, ideal if you have business there. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood.

It was located in the West End close to Kelvinggrove Museum and the University of Glasgow. Easy walk to subway. Many restaurants close by including trendy Ashton Lane. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Absolutely lovely stay! Very cool and modern room. And in a lovely quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the Kelvingrove. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely hotel and area. Wasn’t aware when booking, that the hotel was in such a beautiful location (2 min walk to Kelvingrove park, 15 mins to the OVO arena & 30 mins to the city centre). Overall hotel was modern and stunning. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast in the morning. Definitely will book again

Great location and good facilities. Walkable to all the great things in the West End. A turntable and records in the room were especially appreciated! If you have a car, you will need to sort out parking on your own. Street parking is prohibitively expensive.

I think this is the best place I’ve stayed for many years. Everything was wonderful. The room was fabulous, with extra touches like a record player and records. The bed was so comfortable it was a dream. The staff went above and beyond with the breakfast. I’m gluten free and they already had a good offering, but each day added even more. The location was perfect et to explore Glasgow. It is walking distance to many of the best museums and was easy access via public transport to the rest. It was close to the city bus and the hop on hop off stop. The local restaurants and pubs were fantastic and had something to satisfy anyone. Overall a very memorable trip and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Really nice, pseudo Art Deco style hotel, very close the the Hydro SSE Stadium. Ideal for concerts. Close to lots of Bars and Restaurants for local entertainment. Buffet Cold breakfast with lots to offer.

Very warm welcome. Great location next to the park. Nice bright spacious room. Nice extras, eg slippers, vanity packs. Breakfast was nicely presented with a good selection of continental style item. Only downside, the shower wasnt great, low water pressure.

Friendly welcome, and it was lovely being taken to my room. It was generally quiet (apart from noisy washing machines? in the evening). The shower was quite hard to use - it was either a bit too hot or quite a bit too cold. I had a nice stay anyway. Breakfast was really good for a continental breakfast!

Great location and nice room but for the price i felt it was let down a little with poor breakfast , shower not draining well and the room being a little noisy ,but we did have a room just off reception.

The receptionist was very friendly, polite and extremely helpful regarding the hotel and its facilities. I was also offered some wonderful tourist advice specifically to my requirements. All in all, it was a delightfully clean, immaculate and well cared for hotel, certainly one I shall save for any future trips to Glasgow, simply, it just ticked all the boxes…

We stayed in August. The hotel does not have AC. If you stay in the bottom floor it could be a little hot with the windows opening just partly. The area it’s great!!

The charming small hotel was an excellent location for exploring the area. Close to beautiful Kelvingrove park, museums, great restaurants, it was the perfect base for our adventure. The beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean. Would definitely stay again.
