Lovely hotel in a great location. We were staying in Bournemouth for the half marathon and wanted a hotel with parking that was within walking distance of the finish line. The hotel was about a 8-10 minute walk from where the event buses pick you up and felt safe enough. The parking was very convenient but is £15 per 24hr period so please bare this in mind that it isn’t included in the room cost. The room itself was a good size with a huge bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. The room was a little cold but did eventually warm up once we changed the thermostat. We had plenty of room to set up our daughter’s travel cot and everything was clean and tidy however one of our bedside lamps didn’t work. The staff were all really friendly and really good with my toddler. The bar had a nice selection of drinks as well as a few board games that you could take up to your room. The car park was bigger than I had expected and we had no problem securing a space although I imagine it gets busy in the summer. The only downside was we thought that the breakfast was disappointing as there wasn’t a huge selection available but we admittedly only had a continental breakfast due to time constraints so the cooked breakfast may have been lovely. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would happily stay here again.

The staff on arrival were extremely friendly & helpful, this continued throughout our stay. The bedroom was clean, with good bathroom amenities, ie towels, toiletries, shower over bath, extra milk, tea available on request. Room was cleaned well when asked for.. Breakfast was very good, tasty & a decent choice, staff were attentive. Room was very noisy morning & night times as door was not soundproof & there was a large gap underneath letting light in from other guests passing to their rooms. Also house keepers were noisy in corridors when cleaning rooms, playing music & talking. Hot water for tea at breakfast was in a flask which wasn’t very hot. Hairdryer in room had a very sticky handle. A few faults but on the whole a pleasant 4 nights stay.

Hotel was ok. Room could have done with complete redecoration. Paint coming off doors, window frames could do with revarnishing. Carpet could have done with a good clean, mould on tiles in shower. Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable, however sheets and towels all clean. Also no hairdryer, luckily I brought my own. Breakfast was ok

Really disappointing stay, we arrived early and left our bags it was 1pm so 2 hours before check in which we didn’t have a problem waiting, we ended up coming back at 5pm. Walked into a room that was like a fridge the air conditioning was on too high. My friend went to the toilet (lucky she had tissues in her pocket) there was no toilet paper. Had to ring to ask for some to be brought up (it wasn’t like they had allowed us to check in early so no excuse to not have put toilet paper in the room) But major issue and reason for the poor review was the single bed I had to sleep on, it had a big dip just where the small of your back is so had an awful nights sleep and woke up with a very sore back. The staff was nice, the breakfast was ok too. Location was ok about a 15 minute walk to seafront. It was just a shame that the room wasn’t up to standard for the amount we paid also would have expected a lot nicer room, the bathroom was tiny it was awkward to get out of the bath and the windows sill in their was all peeled paint.
