Great comfortable cottage, very peaceful and relaxing, front patio area is privacy screen but with a view to property so you can sit for morning coffee and watch the plentiful deer come through. The Host, was very accommodating and responsive to any correspondence we sent. Offered suggestions for places for a nice breakfast. This unit was just what we were looking for and a great value for a property so close the heart of Gruene. Will look forward to out next stay there.

We very much enjoyed Kathy’s property. Very quiet and loved the outside garden to watch the local deer and nature. Kathy was accessible for questions and we appreciated her recommendations. Lovely clean place and we had a wonderful time visiting the town and go tubing down the river.

One evening we sat on the porch swing and just enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Great place for a romantic getaway! Easy access to the Gruene and New Braunfels for food, music and shopping. Close to activities, very nice cottage. Beautiful courtyard. We watched the deer in the yard. There was a minor glitch, but the owner responded quickly and handled everything perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep in a super convenient location, I’d highly recommend this property. However, if you’re looking for a well-stocked comfortable rental home to cook and entertain, this might not be the best option. While the property was clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and the host was great, the kitchen lacked basic items (cutting boards, dishwasher, ice maker) and the space is quite small. There is no option for outdoor dining unless eating in your lap in plastic chairs. While the bedroom was comfortable, I’d recommend against this property for 4 adults as the fold out couch was older and uncomfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with towels and soaps, but the door to the bathroom is not hung properly and will not fully close/lock. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and place to sleep!

Our stay felt like “Home away from Home”. We were very pleased with the cottage. It was super clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe. We loved seeing the deer wandering around. We had a few minor issues with door lock and TV that the host was quick to respond to. I loved how close we were to Gruene with shopping, coffee, food and music. You will not be disappointed with this rental and location. We will definitely be back!!!!

This little home was very clean and quaint. It was a 2 minute drive to the strip without traffic, with traffic about 5-7 minutes. It was nice and private away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to all of the action. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't have more time to relax on the property much, but we'll definitely be back!

We had a blast in Gruene. Checking out the music scene and retreating to this little cottage. It was the perfect stay. A short drive from Gruene Hall and just barely out of town a lot to see so many deer in the yard. The cottage was clean, well kept and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in. I highly recommend this place. Would stay there again if I find myself in that neck of the woods again

Very nice place to stay near Gruene and New Braunfels. Cozy and quaint. The only complaint we had for the duration of our stay was an incredibly slow WiFi connection. Luckily, we brought a good book to read! Everything else was great.

We loved our stay and the owner was outstanding and beyond gracious! She was understanding when we made a mistake with our reservation and worked with us! She even gave our fur baby and soft blanket and toy- that’s one of a kind! The location was perfect and the cottage was so sweet and welcoming! Hope to return!!

The location of this little gem is perfect for a quick get away to Gruene. It's a little challenging to find coming from New Braunfels, but, once you're familiar with getting there it's perfect! It's nice and quiet and decorated perfectly. Amenities were good and Management was quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a relaxing stay! This property is clean, wonderfully decorated, the bed is amazingly comfy. It was removed from town, but still very close. The property manager was responsive and we would definitely stay here again!

Very comfy and clean cottage! Kathy was a great property manager. We had a little hiccup with checking and the door being locked, but she responded quickly! Great communication! And even brought us a bottle of wine for our anniversary!! Would definitely stay here again!

The guest house was beautiful. We did not realize it was a guest house connected to the main house. Also the listing mentioned 2 min walk to the river, not accurate. Comfortable place and beautiful area. Host was very friendly and accommodating.

We loved staying at this cottage which was well stocked and very close to Gruene! We will definitely come back and stay here in the future! Very cozy and quiet space!

Great location. The cottage was very clean and spacious for a two people stay. Surprise amenities included a Britta filter for water and ice trays already filled and ready in the freezer. There were also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower for anyone who forgot to pack their own like we did.
