The Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, Palm Springs

All was good except pool was freezing. I would have given a much better rating if the pool was a decent temp to swim.

The property was beautiful well maintained and the views are are awesome night time and day great for pictures there are two pools the main pool is 4 feet deep and massive great for kids and also they have a pool on the east end great for adults too that’s deeper like 8 feet also forgot to mention the main pool has a water slide super!. This place is well conveniently located as so you have just about every major store within a few miles. They also have a gym that’s great if you like to keep up with your workouts and also have a pool bar cafe that’s great as well. The staff is very on top of things and very friendly and there is parking all over and under a canopy so your car don’t get to hot in the

This is a great property to go with groups we’re everyone can arrange accommodations but have space for room gatherings. Rooms are fully stocked and clean, beds are comfortable and bathrooms very spacious. The property is well maintained and staff very helpful. The only con is the pools. The main one is too small for the amount of people that visit and the second one too far and not inviting. I believe this property needs another pool.

The bed was a full size bed and we were three adults. We didnt get a good night sleep Also, the second pool directly infront of our unit was closed due to maintenance. We had to wait 30 min to be transported to the main pool.

I would of given this place 5 stars but the parking and its structure is atrocious for a place like this. The parking is set up like a apartment complex parking and we all know how finding parking in a structre like that is hell. I had to park almost 3 buildings away from my room which turned out to be a 5 min walk in the muggy heat. Other than that, the room was big and gorgeous.

Bathtub had a ring around it, toilet’s tank would get stuck n tank did not refill automatically. I had to open tank n adjust toilets floater. I got charged 25$/night for parking totalling 55$ for both nights. You should advise clients/travelors of these unexpected fees when booking thru ur website

Shouldn't have to pay for self parking

What enticed me about this hotel was the fact that it had kid friendly vibes and per prior reviews I read there was a childrens pool, waterslide and a mini water play area. The check-in process was straightforward and they gave us a pool key since we got there before our room was ready, so that was awesome! Once we got checked in they wanted to place my family very far from the Paradise(main pool) but I requested if they could adjust because originally, the prior guest services person said we were alot closer. So I greatly appreciated that because we had a toddler and planned on using the pool a lot and didn't want to do that trek back and forth. They have a pond that separates the rooms as you walk over to the pool and that was very fun for my toddler as she got a major kick out of seeing the ducks and the baby ducks. The other East pool, however, was closed the entire stay due to maintenance issues. This didn't affect our stay as we were on the side of the property, but it did make the Paradise pool busy. Also the kids play area (water park) was under renovations, but this wasn't bothersome either because we preferred the pool and that was on the other side of the property.We loved that it was further from downtown Palm Springs so it was quiet and very relaxing,but if we wanted to go there, it wasn't a far drive. The location was prime for going to the Living Desert.Overall we loved this property and would love to come back for our annual Spring Break family trip.:)

No parking! Not enough parking spaces to accommodate all guest is crazy. If you come to your room past 10pm good luck.

Everything was wonderful from the moment I drove through the entrance. Check-in was easy, the room was spotless, the communal amenities in good condition including well-kept grounds.

The rooms were extremly well kept and very clean. Parking was a little tough because our building was a bit far away.

The parking was a problem. Had to park 2 buildings away and carry everything. The sheets on the bed were stained. Had to sleep on top of them.

Beds were incredibly uncomfortable for a Westin. We both came home with aches as a result. Rooms are dated and in need of updating. Fans were very dusty. Service people were friendly and helpful.

The areas in the trash storage was quite unkept. Also, the secondary pool area was unattractive due to dirty water, loungers, chairs unclean. Not a classy environment…pool water was cloudy —-we refused to swim in it.

Loved our stay! Check-in and check-out was seamless, the room was spacious and clean, the facilities were well-maintained, and staff were all friendly. All-in-all we had a great stay and hope to return again!

Quiet, room was nice and large full bedroom, large bathroom, living area with full kitchen and all amenities including a washer dryer!

Travelled with our 2yo and 70yo mom. We enjoyed our stay here - it was clean, quiet, and had mostly what we needed and hoped for. I had read a few comments about noise issues and I can tell you they are no joke. I was worried about our kid making noise but I shouldn’t have - we had to call the desk on our first night for the room above stomping, jumping and running around at 11pm, keeping us all awake. It was absolutely terrible. The security team did respond and thankfully those guests left that night but wow, it was a very rough start to our stay. Our condo didn’t have any bedding for the pull out bed so we had to call for that (no big deal). It felt a little silly that they installed a dishwasher instead of an oven seeing as they only provided 4 of everything … im not sure we could fill a dishwasher even if we used every plate, bowl and utensil! An oven would have been nice. All in all though the condo was great and it was nice for our son to walk around the resort safely. The pool was nice. Spotless. Very helpful and kind staff. We hit a really quiet week I think as we often had the pool to ourselves or shared it with a handful of other folks. The kiddie pool was great for our 2yo, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Our son also enjoyed the small but much appreciated playground. Their one “restaurant” - aloe’s bar - closes at 5pm weeknights and 7pm on weekends. Kind of strange and not sure if that’s just a seasonal thing. A good stay. We’d probably return.

Chose to stay here rather than a hotel while in the area for a wedding. Great choice. Lots of room to spread out and relax between events. A bit dated but clean and very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Comfortable not much view more like a hallway for a balcony.

The room was clean and spacious for us as a family of 4. Having a kitchenette was convenient for leftovers to feed ourselves and the kid's. The pool was the perfect depth for my littles to have fun and the food was delish as well poolside. Would def come back!

Service was great. I liked my accommodations, though they were a bit older. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was perfect. Plenty of seating around the pool. Plenty of towels. No it is is not the same as a Westin Hotel as far as how nice the room was. But it was updated 2 years ago. The bedroom was great. Westin Heavenly beds are cloud like- no they don't have a lot of support... But they are heaven to sleep in for a few nights. Robes provided. A door from the bedroom and the living room on to the balcony. A kitchenette with a fridge, dishwasher, dishes, pots and a pan, dish soap, dish washer detergent, knives, little mini salt and pepper shakers, a full size coffee pot with tea and coffee, mini half and halfs, sugar etc. A washer and dryer with mini boxes of tide. My room had a blender as well though I wouldn't expect this for all as some people had toasters mentioned in reviews and mine did not (no big deal for me but I think appliances vary. you could probably ask though). Oh and a microwave of course. Lower rating on Cleanliness as when I came in the room I kept looking at the towels hanging in the bathroom like something isn't right- I did smell them and they were clean, bed was clearly made, but the next morning I noticed no sugar and coffee still in the bottom of the pot. I also didn't have dish soap (I didn't know this was to be expected yet). When the housekeeping lady came in and did things right I noticed. Service is every other day.

Was advertised as a 1 bedroom with a kitchen however the "kitchenette" was practically non-functional with miniscule counter space. The bedroom was small, living room spacious. Great spacious balcony w/a nice view and BEST "RAINFALL" however head nozzle EVER!! Nice gym accommodations, fun activities like billiards and cornhole by beautiful pool.

Great customer service. Room was dark due to where it was. No sun exposure. Would have liked a toaster and stove in room. Pool was very relaxing. Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely come again with a request for morning sun on patio.

Check in was awful check in time is 4 got there 3:30 room was not ready till after 5 then they changed our room asked to be my my friend then they called said put in wrong room again. Finally settled in room by 6:30.

Everything about this location is amazing! I went for 2 nights and 3 days and I wanted to extend it so bad but reality calls and I have to go back to work! Lol My check in process was seamless and the staff was so friendly and warm! The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable! And the best part of course, is the pool! We had an excellent server who came often to make sure we had our drinks and if we needed more drinks/food! I can't wait to come back!

We had a great time! The front desk staff and concierge were so helpful and friendly. The property was beautiful and clean. The pool was family friendly and we all had a blast. My older kids also enjoyed the additional family games like pool, shuffle board, corn hole and ping pong. We went on a busy weekend and it was still pleasant! We rented a double Villa so our rooms could connect and it was perfect. Everyone slept great, the rooms were clean and comfortable and fully stocked, we had a quiet patio and we could all hang out together or have our own space when needed. There will 6 in our party and we all said it was our favorite vacation. Super pleased all around.

Everything was perfect. We extended our stay and the staff was very helpful in moving our things from villa to villa.

Everything at the property was top notch but the $25 parking fee per day is a bit excessive. Staff we wonderful to chat with.

Rooms are starting to show their age. The fireplace is just for looks. You are not able to turn on the fireplace. We called the front desk and the attendant who came over was also unable to turn on the fireplace. He said someone would get back to us but no one ever did. One of the doors for the laundry are was stuck also and they were unable to fix it. Again no one ever got back to us. There was never any follow up on any of our concerns by staff.

The staff was rude & not helpful at the front desk. The staff for housekeeping and maintenance was awesome! But front desk I would never return here

I was given the wrong bed and it caused a great deal of inconvenience for our family. I emailed for them to rectify the situation but never heard back..

Staff was amazing.

I always like to have a kitchen when I travel. We rented 2 connected suites and were amazed at how much space there was between the bathrooms, bedrooms, living room spaces and kitchen/kitchenette. The large pool was a nice space for hanging out. If you want to be close to restaurants, this may not be the best location. It is 1 mile from the Agua Caliente Casino which my mom appreciated! We would stay there again - close to I-10 for getting around the valley.

We had a lovely time. We booked a 2 bedroom and it was enormous! Other reviews described the space as dark and dated. That wasn’t our experience. Space was clean and lovely. Beds were great. The pool could have been. Touch cleaner but wasn’t terrible. The slide was closed both days we were there. There was one staff doing poolside service and she was busy. Very nice and helpful though. Food was expensive for the quality- but that’s how poolside food typically is. Staff were very kind and helpful. I’d stay there again for sure.

We recently stayed at The Westin Mission Hills Resort in Palm Springs, after a bust of an VRBO rental, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The property itself is stunning—beautifully landscaped with lush greenery, scenic mountain views, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It truly feels like an oasis in the desert. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the overall design made for a welcoming retreat after a day of exploring followed up by soaking in the heated pool. Speaking of the pool—it was perfect! The water was refreshing, warm (as we visited in February) the setting was picturesque, and there were plenty of lounge chairs to relax and soak up the sun. It’s the ideal place to unwind. The staff was another highlight of the stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make our experience enjoyable. From check-in to dining recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure a great visit. Overall, The Westin Mission Hills Resort is a fantastic destination, whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a base (20 mins to downtown) to explore Palm Springs.

Beautiful property . We stayed 10 years ago and hasn’t changed . The grounds and pool are exquisite ! 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs.

Great setting, nice resort, helpful staff. Little bit out of town than we should have realised

It was our first time staying at this property. We enjoy being in a convent location when we travel and this location is very convenient. It wasn’t far from anything we decided to do while there.

Great for golfers. Other than sitting at the pool one needed a car to go anywhere. A distance to the Mountains and hiking.

Nice hotel, situated about a mile from the casino. It was easy to Uber everywhere in the Palm Springs area.

We had connecting suites that were amazing. Very clean and much more spacious than we were expecting. It was more than enough room for 6 of us. Service was average. East pool with jacuzzi was private and peaceful. Main pool was okay. Pool bar drinks and food were delicious!

I was really bummed with the restaurant by the pool. The lady checked us in saying they served brunch and all it was a few breakfast items way overpriced and served on paper plates with plastic utensils.

Beautiful location, the restaurant has limited hours which was very disappointing.

Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Liked the free coffee in reception touch. Found the food in the pool bar a bit greasy. Hotel lacked a good restaurant but it was nice to cook yourself in the well equipped and nicely furnished villas

The staff are very well trained, friendly, and service oriented. The property used to be connected with the neighboring Westin Golf Resort and that would have been great. The villas only have one restaurant open (Pool Bar) which closes by 5 or 6. Additional restaurant options would be available if the walking path were reopened.

We had no view from our room to speak of as we were stuck in a corner. Most rooms did however. Restaurant closed early and that was disappointing as we had planned on eating there when we arrived.

The coffee in the rooms/pool bar is horrible. Tap water is same - do yourself a favor and buy water. Very limited options for food within the resort. Only the pool bar was open with some basic breakfast (cold cereal, scrambled eggs, stale bagels). Lunch options were better, with the usual Mexican menu (tacos, burritos, etc), but that's it. For. the price it should've been better. The queen bed is really a double. An outrageous deposit is required upon checking in. Hopefully, they will return it. Otherwise, the pool was nice, the resort overall was kept clean, and the staff was kind and friendly. Location-wise, it's about 10-15 minutes to downtown Palm Springs. Some very good options for dining in Rancho Mirage, but make. sure to reserve ahead of time.

The marketing lists a restaurant. There’s no restaurant. It’s a pool bar that closes at 5 PM. I asked for one bottle of water for the room. No bottled water.

Must bring own food. No real restaurant options.

Had said it included breakfast but none was available onsite. Otherwise all was great. Great pool.
